The Teppanyaki chefs are fantastic and put on a great show, so be sure to practice your hand eye coordination before eating at Asahi.
The perfect place for dinner and a show, Asahi is usually packed with noisy and excited patrons. You might find it difficult securing a table on a Friday or Saturday night, so making a booking beforehand is a good idea.
The food is delicious, but portions are too small for the high-end price tags. A group of friends and I ordered the deluxe set, which cost $35 per person. While the food was tasty, I kind of felt like I needed to do a quick Macca's run on the way home because I was far from full, as was everybody else.
This is a great place if you have a small appetite and enjoy interactive dining (i.e. you enjoy having food thrown at you). Otherwise, choose a less gimmicky restaurant with cheaper prices. read more
