I called them late in the day because my ac stopped cooling our house and Kevin Edison arrived the following morning at 8:30. Kevin has been to my house a couple times before and he has proven to be a great technician and a terrific diagnostician. He told me that the coils in our compressor were leaking badly. He showed me the area of the leak and told me that it would take 5 to 10 business days for a new coil to arrive from the manufacturer. After almost a week I was told that the part was on backorder and would take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. I was one cranky old man at that point. The secretary I was speaking with put the manager, Shane, on the phone and I proceeded to tell him how unhappy I was. He told me that he would do everything he could to expedite the arrival of the coils. And he did just that. A few days later the parts arrived and the following day after, Jose, another tech came to do the install. This young man was very professional and did a fantastic job. He was extremely knowledgeable and a really nice guy. He charged and restarted the system and stayed long enough to ensure that everything was running properly and that there were no issues. We are more than happy with the repair and very grateful to Shane and everyone at Ellsworth for a job well done - and for getting it done sooner than we thought. He fixed the leak and filled it with freon the unit was cooling. Then within the same night it was blowing warm air again. Cost so far $1250. Visit next day. Jose came back and said leaking in the same spot. He put a new copper union in place and filled with more freon. This was Ellsworths mistake, but they charged my card without authorization for another $250. Then within hours blowing warm air again. Next visit "senior tech" shows up. We look at the same area that looks like a burnt marshmallow and there is a huge crack in the copper. We could hear and fill the leak. He patches it and cool air starts blowing. Within hours it starts to blow warm air again. Senior tech comes back the next day and now determines the compressor is bad. He can't fix it! Why didn't they determine this on day one when they did the Dianostic check??? So I'm down without air for multiple days and out $1500 as nothing was fixed! I did have several conversations with Jake the Manager. Worthless. Comments like you didn't buy the unit from us. Or we can sell you a new unit for $8500.

In April, Elevate serviced and cleaned my HVAC system. During the visit, the technician repeatedly…read moretried to sell me replacement equipment and additional services. The very next day, my emergency drain pan was filled with water. In all the years I owned this system, that had never happened. The problem was not the emergency pan itself. Multiple independent HVAC contractors confirmed that Elevate had cracked the condensate pan during their service. As a result, water continuously drained into the emergency pan every two to three days, eventually causing mold to develop inside the emergency pan. Since the latter part of May, I have contacted Elevate more than 30 to 40 times requesting that the General Manager or the owners return my calls. They never did. Instead of accepting responsibility, I was told the damage already existed and that they supposedly had before-and-after photos. The facts simply do not support that claim. Prior to Elevate's visit, my HVAC system had never overflowed into the emergency pan, and my previous HVAC contractor had maintained clean service records with no indication of this issue. Even more troubling, Elevate initially wanted approximately $2,000 to repair the condensate pan their technician had damaged, later reducing the amount to $1,000. A customer should never be expected to pay for damage caused by the company performing the work. As a business owner myself, I have delayed writing this review because I believe companies deserve the opportunity to make things right. I always take care of my own customers and understand that mistakes can happen. What matters is how a company responds. Unfortunately, this was not customer service. It was weeks of unanswered calls, shifting explanations, and no meaningful effort to resolve damage that multiple HVAC professionals concluded occurred during Elevate's service. I also requested reimbursement for the service contract and the work that resulted in this damage. I received no resolution and no accountability. My concern is not only the damage to my HVAC system but the complete lack of communication and responsibility afterward. I hope others consider this experience carefully before choosing Elevate.

They were over $1000 less than the cheapest big company. I told them that the price was really much lower, what hidden costs will there be? Nope, the price quoted was the all in price, I spoke with Alex and he just explained that they don't believe in price gouging. Great, well the installation crew was professional, shout out to Adrian for an exceptional install. Since the install, I had a couple of things happen, the first was a vibration in the outside unit, which is right outside my bedroom window. They came out the next day, repositioned the vibration pads and it hummed silently. The new unit is a heat pump and runs so quietly, thanks for the recommendation Alex. Finally with the cold weather I needed the heat. There was a problem with the wiring from the factory in the unit. They again came out the next day, but It was a head scratcher, so the owner of the company, Tyler Voss came out to troubleshoot. He isolated the problem, ordered the replacement board had it in 2 days and now my family is now nice and cozy. I normally don't write reviews, but these guys are really hard workers and did I mention beat the price on the big companies that spend for all of the advertising. More service companies in Florida should take the lead from these guys!
