Mid-morning, the shop was empty except the owner, Bill. We had a chat while he did his thing and I came out looking a lot less like a wookie. Along the way I learned that BIll has been a barber here since 1968 (wow). When I told him "that was before I was born" he chuckled and said, "It's making feel old, but it's a fact." Bill is a really nice guy, he gives a good haircut, and it's a better price than most other places. Well worth it. Make sure to leave a big tip!

The long wait speaks volumes. I left with one of the best haircuts ever. Five stars to all three barbers. When you wait for over two hours, you get to see everyone's finished product. Of course you can schedule an appointment, but the walk in feature is super convenient when you're like me and forget to get your hair cut until you need to go somewhere (e.g. a family event where your mom will not so subtly wish that you had a haircut). All super professional barbers that will follow your direction (or will tell you what they think is best if you ask). An added bonus is that they cut kids' hair if you have children this is a huge bonus. Great place all in all. Additionally, the location is fantastic in Wash Park.

I go in for a clean up, which turned into half of my beard being gone, while leaving a long goatee. I thought I'd let it grow out a bit, and it wasn't a super big deal. But when I get home and lived with the beard a little longer, I saw a full clippers width of hair missing on the underside of my neck and how uneven and thin everything looked.
