We met Steven at a friend's birthday party, and he offered to be our guide in the SF housing market. He met with us in our neighborhood the following Saturday to interview us and find out what we were looking for in a home. He took detailed notes and was observational enough to notice that Joey really enjoyed connecting with neighborhood shop owners so having that "neighborhood feel" would be important. These guys rock. Two years ago we were lucky enough to get paired up with Dan and Steven by Redfin through their partner agent program. Initially we were looking at East Bay properties with Steven. We appreciated the insights he was able to share about neighborhoods and various real estate subjects we weren't familiar with at the time, such as TICs. We then decided to take about a year off to save and monitor the market. Throughout that time Dan and Steven followed up with us periodically, and we always felt like valued clients to them. When we got back into the market we mostly worked with Dan reviewing SF properties. Viewing homes with Dan was always more enjoyable and more helpful than when we went solo. Dan has a great eye for a property's potential, and really helped us see what could be done with a home and whether it fit our needs. He also has a great sense of market value, and fairly accurately predicted many of the sale prices of homes we were interested in.
