I used to go to Dr. Lee when I lived in the area. He is very professional, incredibly kind, and all around amazing.

I started seeing Dr. Lee several months ago. I found them through my insurance portal. With only four options through my insurance in all of Marin county (and one that I had already tried), I was hoping to find care I could stick with consistently. I tried several chiropractors when I lived in southern Marin and another few when I moved to Novato, but none of them spent more than five minutes on me, and they all expected me to come in several times a week. Dr. Lee spends a full 30 minutes working on my back (some insurance plans only cover 15 minutes, but I am lucky with mine) and does everything from a massage gun to TENS machine to hands on massages and adjustments. He listens to where I truly need help and makes adjustments based on what did or didn't work in previous sessions. I am feeling so much better since I started going here and I plan to be a long-term patient! The office is clean and inviting, and scheduling is easy (via call, text, or online). read more

Finding a good chiropractor can be a process. Let me offer some info to help shorten your search. Dr. Lee is located in a studio office with a wall of windows that makes it light and bright. He is assisted by his wife Trudy, and Teal, the office morale officer (golden retriever). Examine was routine and thorough--how far can you move, what is hurting, etc. Dr. Lee does an excellent job of explaining all the techniques he is using. Devices he has used on me: Table that is motorized that helps loosen up the back. The table is split and as you lie face down the lower half gently rocks up and down. Hyper massage device to loosen up muscles --this is helpful for stiff muscles before an adjustment. Arnica and manual massage--on my computer/office shoulders and an arm that was injured. Only drawback is my Chiro benefit through ASH network doesn't cover all Dr. Lee's techniques. For full benefit of treatment I have an additional fee that is needed but I find it worth it. Dr. Will Lee of Ascend is fantastic. I'm now visiting him once every couple of weeks to work out some aches in my back and neck, which I need since my work keeps me at my computer 8 hours a day. He listens carefully to any issues I'm having, and then he's adept at finding those muscle knots and essentially helping to tune up my back. You have the option of paying as you go, or if (like me) you want to sign up for a package of sessions, there's a discount available. I'm a dentist and have seen numerous chiropractors and physical therapists throughout my career but Dr. Lee is by far the best practitioner I've ever worked with! He's extremely knowledgeable and spends a lot of time to personalize appointments for me. He takes 30 mins to not only do adjustments but a lot of muscle work and educating me on what I can do differently to avoid problems in the future. Could not recommend him more! I was hiking on Mt Tamalpais this past weekend trying to stay healthy, but still away from the mass crowd bc of this whole COVID pandemic. On my way back(probably 6 miles in) I started limping because my left knee was killing me! Saw Dr. Lee on the way out and he told me it was probably my IT band and asked if my low back was bothering me as well. How did he know? Actually, my back started stiffening about 3-4 miles into the hike. He told me his office was nearby and he was heading that way and wouldn't mind checking it out. I had a 1.5 hr drive back to SJ and really didn't want to do it in pain so I said yes, got to my car, pulled out my phone to checked if it was a legit business, and bam! That was that. I arrived about 40 minutes before his first patient. He did a few tests on me and confirmed it was my IT band that was way too tight and causing pain when I walked. He then did some pretty painful muscle work on it to loosen it up and then adjusted my low back and it felt SO good! Pressure and stiffness in my low back was totally gone afterwards. I walked around to test the knee and although it was still bothering me, pain had gone down by at least 50%(win!), I still felt it when walking but did not have a limp anymore. Dr. Lee gave me some advice and home stretches to further help with the knee pain. He was really nice and made me feel super comfortable. I will continue treatment with my local sports chiro, but am so glad I ran into him and grateful he took me in on short notice. Dr. Lee consistently spends 30min each visit with me, which is more than any other chiropractor I've been to. Initially I found him through my insurance company at his older practice and now that he's in an even nicer new office it's an even more pleasant experience. He's patient, kind, and takes the time to explain why my joints feel the way they do and, for me, how to minimize impact on my power back. Dr. Lee is one of the most thorough doctors I have been to. He really took the time to understand my condition by a thorough evaluation, explained it in words I could understand, and presented a care plan that would in long term save me money compared to other office quotes. (Other offices quoted me over 12 visits, even though their cost was slightly cheaper). Dr. Lee goes above and beyond in terms of treatment, this isn't an "adjustment only" style office. I received lots of muscle work, corrective exercises, and was even able to have him coach me on those exercises in the work out area of his office. This Chiropractor wasn't much help. Beware - he offers to waive the initial exam fee if you will sign up for an expensive treatment package. Once you've signed on for that, he has your money. I recommend that you look elsewhere for chiropractic care. But if you decide to come here, just pay the initial exam fee, and don't fall for the packages. read more

I have mild scoliosis, and have been to many chiropractors over the years to help with my chronic back pain. Dr. Lee's approach is very different than any I have been to before. Before adjustment, he did some muscle work to massage out any tightness that was contributing to my pain and holding the incorrect alignment where it is. After that, he does the adjustments, explaining every step along the way as he goes. Lastly, he lead me through a few light exercises to help strengthen the muscles in the positions that they should be. In my experience with other chiropractors who just adjust you and tell you to come back in 2 weeks and send you home, this approach was a refreshing change, because it seems to be designed for long term and more lasting results. After my appointment, the pain that I have been having for the past couple months in my knee was completely gone, and my neck and back felt so much better.
