I contacted Tinozzi with PT referral for IT band before treatment. This is the response: "I wanted to reach out to you regarding your insurance benefits we have found. We are an out of network office, so all coverage we have found is based on your out of network benefits. In your Anthem plan, you have a deductible of $50.00 which after your first visit with us it has been met As you have met your deductible, Anthem will be covering 80% of chiropractic and massage services. I have started to submit to your insurance and will continue to do so as you come in for visits. There will be a copayment which we will let you know once we hear back from your insurance. I would absolutely recommend having your first chiropractic visit with us. If you need any assistance scheduling an appointment please let me know. Thank you" . We went ahead and after several visits I was presented with an additional $630 bill for treatment. They had the referral and also knew shortly after of an issue but continued treatment without acknowledging it or asking for payment. Tinozzi did all insurance paperwork. If there was an error it was Tinozzi. BTW the treament called "scraping" had no effect except keeping my leg bruised for a month. read more

Great, attentive care for my complex low back pain with acute and chronic elements. The regimen of pre-adjustment heat and massage followed by chiropractic adjustments felt very helpful. I found the staff and practitioners to be very welcoming and empathic, understanding the degree of severe pain affecting me on both physical and emotional levels. My situation is complicated, due to chronic, severe degenerative arthritis with acute pain superimposed upon that long term condition. I will continue with the treatment ( 5 visit package deal with cost savings) as I await the medial nerve branch radio ablation treatment through my medical plan - the wait is interminably long -3 months. Dr. Tinozzi 's team has helped me cope, understanding the difficult challenges my specific situation presents for any provider. I'm grateful for their help. read more

The only issue I have with Tinozzi Chiro is that I live in LA and she is in the Bay!! LOL!!!! Every single time I am in SF, I make it a POINT to come here for adjustments and massages. I was able to book a same day visit with Adela. She listened to what my issue was and then got to work with pressure point work. I love deep tissue massages, so the pressure was perfect! I was referred by a friend who highly recommended them so we got an appointment last week. This place is so PROFESSIONAL. You start out with a evaluation with Dr. Rina who is lovely! Then a massage with a therapist starting with has warm blankets and you bask in that for 10 minutes then a short massage and on to Dr. Rina. I had been experiencing lower back pain the past week. And then it finally came to an excruciating head last night, and I could barely roll out of bed. I was literally crawling on the floor to the Advil bottle in my bathroom. As luck would have it, my go-to chiropractor was gone for the week. What to do...? What to do...? After a quick, desperate search on Yelp, I came across Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio in Corte Madera. They're rockin' a 5-star Yelp rating (36 reviews), and they're just 10 minutes from my house (bonus!). I called them up first thing this morning, and they were kind enough to see me an hour later. The staff was extremely warm and friendly. After filling out the mandatory paperwork, Dr. Tinozzi led me into her healing chamber right away. I was very pleasantly surprised by how down-to-earth she was for a doctor. She asked me a bunch of questions about the history and extent of my pain. Unlike some doctors who treat you like cars that need to be fixed, Dr. Tinozzi was genuinely compassionate and assured me that she would help get me back on my feet. And after 30 minutes in her office, she did just that. Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio also integrates massage and heating pads into their service to help relax the muscles and ease the pain. And what's not to like about that, right? After you complete that, Dr. Tinozzi comes back in the room and cracks/aligns your back and neck to where it needs to be. She then applied a nice icey/hot cream to the sore area, and then sent me on my way. All in all, I was very pleased with my first experience at this office. If I ever experience this kind of body pain again (which I hope I never do), it's reassuring to know that Dr. Tinozzi has got my back. ** P.S. - an hour after my visit, I received a kind email from Dr. Tinozzi checking in to see how I was feeling. I was injured in a car accident as a child and have suffered chronic back pain my whole life as a result. I have gone to many different chiropractors and Dr. Tinozzi is the best I've ever seen. Not only is she incredibly skilled, she's a good listener and can tailor her approach to resolve whatever pain I'm experiencing at the time. In the 6+ years I've been going to Tinozzi chiropractic I've found her entire staff to be consistent in delivering exceptional customer service from the moment you make the appointment, all the way through the treatment process. The office feels more like a spa than a doctor's office which helps me relax the moment I walk in the door. I've been going long enough to recognize the other patience which speaks to the customer loyalty this team inspires. I don't seem to need treatment on a predictable schedule but when I hurt, it's bad and I usually can't wait. Karmin who manages the office accommodates me as best she can which usually means treatment within hours of my call. The standard treatment starts with heat and a 15 minute mini-massage that helps relax me for the adjustment but I suspect also gives the massage therapist the intel about what my spine is doing that Dr. Tinozzi needs to give a better adjustment. I may not ever live a life free of back pain but Dr. Tinozzi helps extend the time during which I can live pain free which does a lot to improve my quality of life. Really top notch service! Rina will make anyone who is apprehensive about seeing a chiropractor feel completely at ease. She is respectful and understanding of anyone feeling nervous to get adjusted. I know I was my first time. I have struggled with chronic back pain my whole life and it significantly decreased, even went months with no pain, since Rina adjusted my back. Turns out I've had bones out of place I didn't even know about my whole life.
