It was the same with the cna's, always a revolving door of different people. Needing to rely on others to help with bathing and other personal care can be embarrassing and not having the same cna's and nurses puts extra stress on a patient. On one occasion, the only time I called and asked for help to lift my husband on a day not normally scheduled for a cna the nurse taking the call very rudely told me that everyone's schedule was full for the day and it was my job as his main care giver to take care of him (lift him) myself! When my husband passed away no one from Altus, no chaplain, no social worker, no nurse, no one contacted me. I received a sympathy card with a few signatures on it. I do not recommend this company!

Despite husband's Immobility and frailness, David managed to get him in the wheelchair and delivered him to the home. Great service! But on the return, another younger driver refused to help my husband to get back in bed from the wheelchair so he sat in it for an hour before his nurse arrived. They just 'dumped' him in the living room and also had a hard time getting the wheelchair up one step into the home. I understand the liability issues but their website gives the impression they will help with patients with mobility issues.
