Having moved to the…read moreEast Coast to assist my parents--both in their 80s--I had become a veteran of the 'appointment circuit.' I had spent months navigating dozens of businesses that were efficient, yet entirely transactional. In those offices, I wasn't just looking for a product; I was watching how my parents were acknowledged in the process. Most places deliver information so fast it requires a translator. But the day the three of us were ushered into Kim's office, the atmosphere changed. Kim didn't just 'hear' my father; she listened to him. She authentically included my mother in the process, despite it not being her appointment. It was the first time in a long journey of pitches and products that I saw my parents respond with true comfort. Elevate is a rare, third-generation family business. Kim's father passed down a professional philosophy that prioritizes the person over the product, and that legacy makes a world of difference to my tribe. It ensures we can still say the important things to each other every day. Supporting this legacy is Tucker, the third spoke in the generational wheel. As a certified specialist, he handles the complex IT and the intricate federal insurance paperwork that often bogs down retired families. He ensures the technical side is as seamless as the clinical side. If you feel something is lacking in your current care, I highly recommend you visit Elevate. You might be surprised at what you--and your family--have been missing. Maybe we'll see you there. Sincerely, Tim, son of Ike and Anna."

He's so friendly and personable and tells you what he's doing and checking for as he does it. Most of the PA's there are also very helpful and I haven't had a bad experience with any of them.

*** This review is one star for the telephone system, not the doctors ***…read more I'm a regular patient here for many years. The telephone service system does this to you if you call near lunchtime: 1. It accepts your call and puts you in queue and tells you're customer number five or whatever. Then you're on hold (in my case today, for twenty minutes) with the same constant repeating message that they'll be right with you and that you're such an important patient. Then, after 20 minutes, it goes dead. 2. You call back after 12 PM, only to get a recording saying that they're closed for lunch and to call back after 1 PM. 3. In my opinion, that is not customer-oriented. People have important reasons to be calling a doctor's office. The whole front desk does not need to close down for an hour to eat lunch. Front Desk people can stagger lunches so that someone is always available to take a call. Person A takes lunch from 11:30 to 12:30. Person B covers phone from 12 PM to 12:30 and then takes lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 and Person A covers phone from 12:30 PM to 1 PM. Easy as that. Why have both of them go to lunch at the same time? 4. The telephone system should tell people that they are not continuing to hold as it's now 12 PM and the office is at lunch if they are going to continue this inane practice. 5. Although the doctors here are very good - nothing against them -- I will not be recommending this practice for its outdated and inept telephone system.
