This is the second time I have visited this location even though the wait time was longer than I wanted. Stephanie did a fantastic job taking care of me .

They make you feel like they are glad to see you from the time you walk into the door until you leave. You'll be greaeed by this great receptionist who I am sorry I'm not sure of her name. She is either Michelle or Nichelle I hope but she is the best. She's pleasant and so helpful. I just got updated aids from Dr Grotsky that help with my tinnitis. They have done wonders for me and I am so appreciative. The last time I saw Dr Grotsky, a week or so ago, I told her I enjoy coming to her office - every other doctor I have to see makes me have high blood pressure. If you need hearing aids, please check them out. Outside of being fantastic people, they do really good work. Thank you Metro Hearing.

When I would call, the phone rang in a random Metro Hearing office and I'd have to leave a message. There were issues in getting my hearing aids ordered, confusion on their part about what my insurance was covering, and a lack of communication about the status of everything from the insurance approvals to the final delivery and fitting of the hearing aids. I had to manage the whole process with the help of my insurance company, which was something I'd never experienced...the insurance company working harder to get me care than the provider.

She wrote my work return to work location instead of putting work from home and it screwed up everything!! Whenever I tried to get her to fix it, she denied my request and told me to go to neurologist. This surgery I had might of knocked my health off balance and takes no responsibility for my new vertigo symptoms, I'm having issues with day to day life, driving, being that I have peripheral vertigo and she just shrugged me off to the next specialist. I need physical therapy, and time for medication regulation. I asked for help and they spit on me basically....

After recovering, I noticed a bump start to grow on the bridge of my nose. I went in and she kept dismissing me and telling me nothing was wrong. Also, any question we would ask her regarding the surgery or my nose she would act very confused, like she didn't know what she was talking about. After pushing and pushing that something wasn't right, she started steroid shots in my nose which helped, and then stopped them. So of course, the bump grew back even worse and she proceeded to tell me that it was scar tissue and then went back to saying nothing was wrong with my nose. We asked her to go back in and fix her mistakes because I was very unhappy with my results, considering we paid out of pocket for this. She refused to fix anything and said we would have to pay for a revision if she went back in. She offered a discount, which was equivalent to almost nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS SURGEON!! I hope your experiences were better than mine.

After many decades of drumming and taking every opportunity to see the awesome bands of my day, my…read moretinnitus became more than a minor daily annoyance. I knew I needed help with my tinnitus and hearing loss, but I didn't want to be one of those persons who spends a gob of money on hearing aids, then doesn't use them. And here's where Dr. Kelly Hanscom really helped me out. I sport a shaved head, so it's not like I have luscious locks to help hide hardware behind my ears, so I really wanted to go with jamming the whole shootin' match in my ear. Dr. Kelly advised me on the available options and clearly explained the pros and cons of the different styles of hearing aids. I used a set of loaner hearing aids until my ordered units came in. Dr. Kelly tuned the loaners (and then my person devices) so that I would receive greater amplification of the frequencies in which my hearing is deficient. But she didn't overdo it. This seems to be where a lot of new hearing aid users experience frustration. I've heard several people say, "I'd wear them, but they're too dang loud!" Dr. Kelly artfully managed the acuity and volume of my hearing aids over the course of three months. As she explained, if a new user gets too much volume at first, it can be "jarring." That's the perfect word. So, over the course of three months, Dr. Kelly eased me into the "power" of my new hearing aids, and she also spent plenty of time ensuring that the fit is perfect and that I understand how to maintain and care for my new devices. I love wearing my hearing aids. It's been four months. The tinnitus therapy is wonderful! In fact, my wife can tell by my mood at the end of the day if I have been wearing my hearing aids. Without the tinnitus therapy, she says I am noticeably more anxious by day's end. And don't forget to say 'hello' and be nice to Franchesca at the front desk. After just a few visits, she had my name down and she regularly offers me cookies when I visit. Don't struggle another day with your tinnitus and hearing deficiencies. It's not only affecting your quality of life, but it's also affecting the quality of life of your family, friends, loved ones, and co-workers.
