This review is very individually directed. Please read if you've ever been exhausted and fed up....but then, someone actually surprises you and blows your mind. I specifically would like to compliment, Bri; hopefully I have spelled that correctly. She is new to our concierge team (I have lived here for over a year now.) Covid has changed the game for everyone. Some people have adapted and some have idly coasted, disappointingly. Long story short the problem was that some random, non resident, parked in my designated parking space tonight (I know, not really a big deal in the scheme of things) however; I had worked a 14 hour shift today; running and maintaining a local favorite restaurant, and I got home to, my parking spot, taken over by a random Ohioan license plate person. Sigh* I walked downstairs to our concierge desk, expecting to have to over-explain and problem to someone, and then also have to help come up with a solution . Bri listened attentively. She considerately and proactively helped handle it no matter the magnitude of the situation. Most every one just wants to be heard and not many really listen. Bri, thank you. Truly. Only a 15 minute depending on traffic drive or by Marta to the airport from the airport which is very convenient. Nice lounges on site, work out room huge everything was really good. Very close to west midtown. This apt is really safe fob access or pin via app. Overall satisfied with my visit. I would definitely recommend moving to this apartment if you're looking for a happening area. read more

Avoid living here unless you want serious trauma. I don't want to bore you with all the details regarding my situation with them but please take this as a warning and do not live here. Oh and they have mold. I've genuinely never met a management staff that is so bad you guys. Like it's got to be a joke, talking to them is like talking to a wall. They won't answer any of your questions/concerns and will try to squeeze every dime out of you. I've never been gaslighted by an apartment building before but I'd take a toxic ex over these people any day. They will make you question your sanity and treat you like a walking dollar sign and not a human being. Oh and if you try reaching out to Greystar ( who owns them) good-luck, I've been trying since January and still no luck getting a call or email back. read more

The management team need to make sure our cars' safety. My car got break in last night even we park at our spot. We revive the alarm from our phone though our cars. I don't know what the hack was the security guy doing at that moment. When 12 cars' alarms beeping. And you still need the resident to stop the crime during the midnight. That's not right. There will be more than 12 cars break in if we didn't stop the thief and call the cops. And we pay for our parking but we can't make sure our property safe. I don't know what else can I do. I'm just so disappointed. By the way the parking team response really fast when your guest didn't pay the parking fee. They boost them immediately lol read more

Johnathan was awesome. This guy really knows how to show a place and make you feel special. Our move was right around the corner and then...COVID-19 hit. My wife voiced her concerns to Jonathan about moving and the response was "we'll be here" on move day. There was a little lack of concern. The place is great and we believe the staff is equally as great, but timing was not in our favor with the move. So, unfortunately we decided not to move. Some of the employees are so rude. You pay for parking in your monthly rental payment but other people are allowed to park in your space with no repercussions. Why do I need to do your job and call the booting company to boot a person in my paid parking space, that is the job of property management. So please be so kind and enforce what is right to keep your tenants happy. I know I'm not the only person having this problem. If you can't enforce parking stop charging tenants for it. read more

The representative I had the misfortune to encounter today was, without out a doubt, the most lacking in basic people skills I have ever had the displeasure to encounter. As a potential customer imagine a circumstance that would allow me to overlook this gross behavior and choose to give them my business. We had scheduled an 11am appointment to tour 2 bedroom units. We arrived promptly and the concierge was very kind and asked us to be seated. After 25 minutes of waiting, a leasing agent rudely asked us why we were there. When we told her that we had an 11am appointment, she replied "So... what do y'all want?" and seemed frustrated when we hadn't determined the exact floorplan we desired yet - as if it was our job to figure out the right place for us ahead of seeing it. Following an awkward interaction at an interactive map across the lobby, she went to go get a key for us to view two units. She disappeared for 15 more minutes. It was 11:40am by the time we started heading up to see units. This may not have been a bad thing if the 40 minutes prior were spent speaking with an agent about the property, amenities, fees, etc. Instead, we were given the cold shoulder and treated rudely. We were prepared to spend a good chunk of change if the apartments were right. Additionally, we were dressed nicely and were courteous to everyone around us. As for the apartments themselves, they were frankly underwhelming for the price. Tiny apartments with balconies that were half taken up by air conditioning units. Bummer. The amenities and appliances were nice though. read more

I recently had the opportunity to tour the community of the Ascent Midtown and was blown away by level of customer service I received. In addition to the community checking all the boxes in regards to location, ambience, and amenities, the staff was just as amazing. Tamika, Jordan, and Manny were all very helpful, and immediately made me feel welcome and valued as a prospective resident. This place has been great! I was hesitant about moving back into an apartment, but I've been very happy so far. One thing that has stood out is that every single person has been extremely friendly and helpful since the day I walked in the door. The apartments are very nice and amenities offer just about anything you could want. I was uncertain about living in midtown, it can get a little noisy from the amount of traffic in the area, but I have liked the convenience and accessibility to shopping & restaurants and the skyline views from this property will rival any place in town. read more

WORST TOUR EVER! NICHOLAS WAS VERY RUDE! He rushed through everything, he had no interest in showing me this property, he talked about amenities & didn't show them to me, he was scrolling on Instagram on his phone, he didn't offer me anything, was very quite while I was in the apartment! He didn't tell me anything about this property!!! The hallways look cheap, they used very cheap grey paint, it just doesn't give off a nice vibe! The elevators SMELL! I literally was asking all of the questions. I was talking more than him! Very lazy! It's NO WAY he will lease apartments with that attitude. Leasing agents get discounted rent & get very comfortable. The reviews on the place are ALL FAKE! This place isn't even leased up by 2% & I'm not surprised!!!! The front desk "concierge " didn't even greet me, I had to walk up to her & speak & she couldn't even thank me for touring while I was leaving. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! VERY UNWELCOMING! Currently looking for a new place in midtown.  I watched a virtual tour today of the penthouse unit B10, given by Jonathan. He did an excellent job of highlighting the wonderful finishes and amenities in the unit. The apartment has hard wood floors throughout, electronic shades in the living room and bedrooms, 12 foot ceilings  and high end cabinets. Loved the retractable hood vent over the gas cooktop, and the pot filler was an added bonus. Scheduling a tour soon.  What a beautiful building! read more

Being retired military I have moved quite a bit and I must say the staff at Ascent Midtown is possibly the best and most accommodating I've come in contact with. My experience from the day I did my tour of the property to date has been nothing less of exceptional. The professionalism of the staff in the Leasing Office is top notch in particularly Manny. I pray I'm spelling his name correctly...but he goes above and beyond to ensure that the residents are being taken care of and have everything they need. Even though he sits in the leasing office he will get up from his desk to grab a package; hold a door; help you on the elevator or just to say hi. And he does it all with a smile. The other day, while standing in the lobby, I heard some other residence speaking of his kindness. He's absolutely amazing!! Along with all the other staff. The building and its amenities give a resort style living experience. It's a very clean and inviting environment. I will and have recommended Ascent Midtown to friends and family looking to move to the area. read more
