The property manager responds to every single review with the same pasted message. He is so bad at property management that he doesn't even realize residents come directly to him before they start leaving reviews online. Since this is the only way that he responds, let's acknowledge everything that really happens at Ascent Peachtree under the management of Tony Johnson. Residents are constantly waiting 10+ minutes on elevators because they are never all working. You can't enjoy the pool unless you want to get bit by one of the MILLIONS of ants they have on this property. This place is infested!! DON'T DRINK WATER OUT OF YOUR REFRIGERATOR. Residents have complained about gnats in their refrigerators. Want to invite friends over?! I DO NOT RECOMMEND. You are supposed to be in a luxury building but there is animal urine & poop everywhere staining the hallways. NEED HELP FROM A MANAGER? Don't even bother. Tony Johnson will act as if he has no clue of what's happening. Then he will deny any allegations even if you have proof. That's why this property is constantly on the news and ATL SCOOP! Ask him why the elevator inspections were expired for so long. Something wrong inside your unit? THEY WILL CLOSE THE MAINTENANCE REQUEST AND NOT COMPLETE IT. The maintenance supervisor Vincent will not even come to your unit. He sits in the lobby just about every day NOT doing anything. The ceiling in the garage has fallen on resident cars in multiple areas! Metal fragments have been hanging for months and Tony Johnson doesn't even care about his residents enough to block off the area to refrain from anyone getting injured. THERE IS STILL WATER DAMAGE FROM THE PIPES THAT ARE CONSTANTLY BURSTING. Hint: Main Lobby on top of the concierge desk. You will most likely have water damage in your unit that they will never fix because the first pipe burst happened on the 29th floor and reached all the way down to the garage over 15 floors down!!!! They still required residents to pay rent in units that were destroyed. IT'S BAD. That's not even everything but let's see if Tony Johnson decides to respond. He will most likely say "I would love to meet with you and discuss this." We already spoke in person many times and he has done nothing. Another trick he tries to pull is saying "I don't see any record of you on our property" Let's see what he says this time. He will also most likely say he doesn't know about pests in this building! I have been a resident at this property for 10 months now, and I must caution anyone considering it as their new residence to think twice. The level of service promised and advertised is far from what is actually delivered. Upon moving in, I was greeted with a refrigerator infested with insects swarming around the ice maker motor. This was not the welcome I anticipated when moving into a supposedly upscale property. The most egregious issue, however, lies with the elevators. They are consistently out of service, and there was a particularly alarming incident where all elevators shut down simultaneously. This forced residents to trek down numerous flights of stairs, as the building spans from floor 12 to 28, with a total of 29 floors. It's not just an inconvenience; it's a safety hazard. Furthermore, the hot water supply is unreliable, with frequent outages. As of writing this review, I have been without hot water for over 24 hours. Despite contacting the contact center (since the office and concierge never seem to answer), I received no updates until the following day, when they vaguely mentioned contacting emergency plumbing. However, there has been no further communication or resolution, leaving residents like myself in discomfort and frustration. On top of these issues, the promised concierge service is virtually nonexistent. Instead of having the convenience of a concierge to assist with guests, residents are forced to trek downstairs to let their visitors in every time, which is a significant inconvenience. Despite multiple emails to management addressing these concerns, there has been no meaningful response or action taken to address the ongoing issues. Upon finally attempting to address my query, he dismissively waved me away, citing ongoing phone conversations with other prospective tenants. Despite my status as a potential resident, he refused to accommodate my simple inquiry about the location of the lockbox, opting instead to engage in argumentative dialogue. I was dealing with a stressful discrepancy on my account, and instead of brushing it aside, Ashieley took the time to listen, communicate, and work diligently to get the issue resolved. What stood out the most was not just her professionalism, but the genuine care she showed throughout the process. She consistently checked on me and made sure I felt heard and supported. The units have worms!! You can also see them in the gym. A resident posted a video on Youtube about this. It's on TikTok too. Other resident reviews have confirmed Ascent Peachtree has a bug infestation. I can't imagine getting covered in bugs in my sleep. Apparently there was a pipe that busted and a fire sprinkler leak that happened under the management of Tony Johnson. Residents say he tries to deny allegations from damage to property because of these leaks. There is a video of water being everywhere in the main lobby and on multiple floors. The entire 29th floor flooded and it destroyed everything on every floor under it. There are still so many wet stains on the ceilings and walls of resident units. It's sad how they have no respect for their residents. Whoever manages this property should be ashamed. There are so many residents that have tried to address concerns and the property management doesn't help. There is a review on here that has been update more than 3 times. Each update was at least a month out from the previous one. Nothing changed. Resident says it got worst!
