From start to finish, the level of unprofessionalism, disorganization, and outright hostility was beyond anything I have ever encountered in a medical setting. First, the front desk lost my referral. I later received an unexpected text about a $250 deductible, which I do not have to pay under my insurance plan. In an attempt to understand this text I called the front desk where they proceeded to hang up on me three times. Red flag after red flag. When I arrived for my daughter's allergy testing, we were forced to wait over an hour. When she finally came in, instead of focusing on my daughter's allergy concerns, she immediately wanted to discuss the complaints I had about her office. Mind you, by this point, I had already been waiting for an hour and 15 minutes. She outright refused to see my child unless I first told her how she could improve her business practices. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I insisted that the medical appointment be focused on my daughter and her needs. However, the doctor disagreed and continued to argue. Then, she actually refused to see my child, so I decided to collect my daughter's paperwork and that's when things escalated from her end. This is where my 15 years old daughter decided to intervene. My daughter told her how unprofessional she was behaving. Instead of regaining her composure, Dr. Ispas started yelling at my daughter too. At that point, I had to tell her to breathe and stop interrupting. I gave her two clear options: 1. Test my daughter, and afterward, I'd privately explain the issues I had with her office. 2. Refuse to see my child, and I would leave an honest review online. She made her choice. Upon exiting the lobby of her office Dr. Ispas started following us out into the hallway as she continued to yell. My daughter actually shut the door to her office upon exiting, but that didn't stop her--she opened it right back up and followed us down the hallway to the exit, only stopping when she realized my daughter was recording the entire thing. This experience was beyond unprofessional--it was downright hostile. No patient, especially a child, should ever be treated this way. If you are considering this office, run in the opposite direction. There are plenty of other allergy specialists in the area who actually respect their patients and their time.

Fast forward to 2020, I noticed that my daughter seemed to be having allergy issues so I decided to seek out Dr Yoon again because his service was outstanding during my visit with him. I was happy to find that he opened his own practice in Ashburn so I scheduled an appointment for my daughter. The scheduling process was very swift and I was able to sign up to their patient portal on the same day with the assistance of the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. I took my daughter to her appointment yesterday and was very pleased with the cleanliness, high tech equipment and aroma of the office. The women at the front desk were friendly and greeted us with a smile. We arrived about 15 minutes early and did not have to wait until our appointment time to be seen. Just as I had remembered, Dr Yoon was very pleasant and easy going. My daughter was found to be allergic to trees and cat hair. Dr Yoon was super informative, knowledgeable and gave us more than enough information on treating her allergies moving forward. He also gave us a good amount of sample products to take home with us. I highly recommend him for your allergy needs. He was willing, ready and able to answer all of the questions we had. He took his time and that alone shows that he's passionate about the work he does. I have no issue paying for services rendered, but I would have appreciated receiving statements along the way instead of one large bill at the end. When I requested a detailed bill so I could submit it to my insurance company, I was told the office does not handle billing directly and that I needed to call an 1-866 number. I left at least ten voicemails. Each time, I was told someone would return my call within two days. I never received a single callback. I then went back to the office in person to request a detailed charge history. I was told I needed to speak with the office manager. After leaving her several messages with no response, I returned again and was told she was in a conference call. On my most recent visit, when I tried to speak with her directly, she refused and shut the door to avoid the conversation. This is a facility I trusted with my medical care. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism has left me feeling extremely disappointed and disrespected. I will not be returning and would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

I paid my co-pay at the time service was rendered and was never informed there was a balance due after insurance was applied. As I take my financial reputation very seriously, I certainly did not appreciate receiving that notice without cause. When I called the office to voice my frustration about receiving a threatening statement for alleged services dating from 15 months ago, the billing system clerk had the audacity to say she remembered telling the receptionist that there were balances due and instructed her to transmit that information to me. Obviously, that didn't happen nor would it ever be the correct way to conduct billing. Then, after I verified a small balance was due on 2 of the 3 services, I sent the monies along with insurance documentation clearly showing that the 2014 service did not occur. Only now, again after ANOTHER 5 MONTH DELAY, did I receive the same bill from 2014 as if I hadn't already dealt with it. The incompetence and time lag associated with these issues is hugely unprofessional, exacerbates research capability, and shows an overall incompetence on the part of the office to handle their accounts in a timely manner. From my customer experience - Dr. Paluvoi's allergy service is nothing exceptional, but their customer service is so ghastly that I would definitely recommend you skip using them. Otherwise, be prepared to be dealing with them for years and years after your final visit has ended.
