The bolt we found in the bottom of the oil pan cover husband said it's the plug

Went to get my oil changed two weeks ago and today my car was towed due to the plug and a few bolts not being tightened enough.

Oil leak at different stages of my drive.

I went in for a basic oil change and tire rotation, and to replace my spark plugs. After an hour and a half they said my car was ready but they couldn't get the spark plugs. Then after driving 25 miles my oil light came on and the car started sputtering. The oil filter was loose. The dealership sent a tow truck to come pick me up and brought me back to fix the issue, but I was disappointed they didn't offer to refund me for the oil change, since they wasted about 5 hours of my time, and very well could have destroyed my engine. They didn't even clean the oil off of my car (it had clearly been spraying oil all through the entire underneath of my car, all the way to the hatch). I retraced my drive the following day and it was clear my car had been leaking quite a bit of oil the entire time I was out. The price I ended up paying was also about $30 more than what I was quoted.

    New to me car

I have been looking for a small car for a daily driver so I can park my truck during these difficult gas price times we are all going thru. I Found a car here that I was interested in seeing, the vehicle was a bust a lot of dings on the exterior and cosmetic damage on the interior. Test drive was a typical one but something was off about the vehicle, and without having a mechanic do a once over I decided against it for the price they were asking. I understand used cars are just that and I expect some degree of flaws. Fortunately they had another vehicle that was in my budget looked at and test drove another civic. Ran well, looked clean (no dings or dents) and interior looked great. I left there with the vehicle. We didn't close the deal until we'll after they were to close which I was fretful because it is over an hour drive to this dealership. It is difficult to find new or used cars these days. So you have to jump on one if you find one that meets your needs. Days of thinking about it and getting back to a dealer are gone because they are moving off the lots pretty fast. The sales staff was pretty cool and very low pressure to buy, it goes back to low inventory and high volume of buyers. Unfortunately leads to no haggling on the sellers side. A positive experience overall who knows if I return just because of the distance, but I would if they have what I'm looking for next time I buy a car.

Great online prices offset by ridiculous markups on items you don't really need, but are added to the bottom line anyway.

I choose asheboro dodge Despite countless one star reviews. Came to the good old Dodge dealership in Asheboro, hoping that the DODGE dealership could fix my Dodge little did I know I would get charged $2800 for them to tell me that they still need a 500 more dollars to fix my car. Amelia Baldwin and Her lovely assistant that loves to sit at the desk and do nothing other than I guess complain and tell me that I have an attitude well I wonder how I'm supposed to feel when I get told that my car is gonna be fixed $2800 later and here I am still with a broken car. Good job Dodge. Never have I ever in 21 years of life been so disappointed given an attitude and then told to leave because they were so upset and ashamed that they couldn't fix my car $2800 later seriously think about going and getting your money taken by the Dodge dealership before you go try any other shop please save us both. Please use the photos to reference the light still in my dash $2800 later. Mind you I was never directed to a manager as I asked several times I'd be pretty scared to talk to the customer too if I stole $2800 from them. What a genuine shame $40,000 car go to the dealership for them to treat me like absolute dog. ** note they left a $1,000 scan tool in my car forgot to grab it out. Luckily I was a good enough person to bring it back the next morning. I guess respect doesn't go both ways anymore !!!

So I decided on one I wanted filled out all of the paperwork and was told they would give me a call back about approval within the same day. Days go by and not a single alert, notification or anything after countless calls up until about 3-4 days later I get a call saying I wasn't approved. Like others have mentioned they seem to surely only care about the money. Not you Definitely wouldn't do service again.

I was told they would have to charge me for a diagnostic service fee to identify the problem on the car in order to be fixed. After paying almost $1300.00 dollars the car is doing the same thing with the same lights flashing on the instrument panel. I was originally told that it would be around $1100.00... I was told they replaced one of the coils and replaced a rapid fire fuel injector. I was also told that the oil was changed as part of the service. I was expected to pay a different price of over $1400.00 when I went to pick up the car and then had to debate that...Come to find out later when a potential buyer of the car was test driving it they returned the car to me stating it was doing the same thing I originally took it in for! I also learned that the service department did not change the oil because the indicator was showing less than 20%. The Receptionist stated to me that they included the oil change...The car is still not fixed and I would not recommend them to anyone buying a new or used car. Especially having any service work done. The service department manager quoted me that the diagnostic tests would fix the problem but they failed to repair properly. I RATE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT A ZERO.

My friend worked there for three years and not only did they screw her in the service department INTENTIONALLY misdiagnosing her car as needing THOUSANDS in repairs, they terminated her employment and her health insurance benefits even though she was one of the top salespeople every single month and had zero issues until she had to report her manager to HR for buying illegal drugs at work, abuse, retaliation, etc. Instead of doing the right thing, they tried to offer her a very small amount of "Gag money" hoping she would be desperate enough to take it especially now that they had forced her into two car payments and she's a type 1 diabetic single mother of 3 - they really thought she would give up her rights to even SPEAK of what they have done to her because they offered her 1/8th of her salary for "severance pay." She's told me some horror stories of service screwing people because it's "their job and they're told to leave their integrity at the door," of salespeople and finance trying to screw little old ladies out of money, things that would just blow your mind. If they can treat someone that made them a ton of money this way, how will they treat you? Think about it. When she can speak out, she intends to. Newspaper, evening news, this is a story to be told and unless they significantly increase their offer, she's going to move forward with a lawsuit and keep her rights to speak! As a side note, because of the stress she's currently been admitted to the hospital going on day 3 and found out that the hospital benefit they took out of her last check won't pay out because they specifically called the company and told them to terminate it on 5/3. She will have to file an appeal. They also took out hundreds of dollars for a rental they claimed she had up to the morning they terminated her although she was forced to buy another car at the end of the previous month. So they one hundred percent falsified documents to steal from her. Doctors are telling her the infection she's fighting has only gotten worse because of the stress. They knew she was battling a serious health issue and she had just submitted FMLA paperwork, but before the deadline, they wrongfully and illegally terminated her employment. Think about this next time you even consider taking your car to Modern for service or buying a car from there. They don't care about people. Only MONEY.

I had the exact opposite experience with Asheboro ford. I was greeted outside on arrival, and lead through the showroom. I mention it because unlike most dealerships, they had classic vintage cars (and a little history lesson) on display. The building was clean and the staff was polite and helpful. I told them what I needed, and they delivered under budget and a price I simply couldn't beat anywhere else. The process was streamlined and efficient so I didn't have to spend the entire day sitting at the dealership. Every person I met was so nice and helpful, including the owner! They made me feel like a VIP buyer even for a used vehicle purchase. I will never purchase from another dealership, they've earned my business and my trust. Thanks so much Asheboro ford!

I recently took my vehicle for a service. Oil change, check fluids, check brakes, etc. Well, the receptionist comes out says I need a new drive belt, the left rear tire is bald on the inside and should get the vehicle aligned. I said I'll come back later for that. My brother is a diesel mechanic and I always have him check behind the service department. He did change the drive belt which is the only belt on a 2013 Explorer. He checked the inside of the tire and there was no bald area to speak of. He did say I should align it just in case. Well, I needed to get the vehicle state inspected and so I made an appointment for that. This appointment is barely a month after the last appointment. So the receptionist comes out tells me the drive belt is worn, remember my brother changed it out barely a month ago, and then she says both rear tires on the inside are now bald and my battery is leaking. Ok, batteries will leak when they get older, no big deal. The drive belt is brand new, granted something could be wearing it down, but I doubt it. I told her my brother just changed it out a month ago and she says hold on let me go confirm it with the technician. She comes back and said the technician said he sees the AC belt is new but the drive belt is the one that is worn. I'm thinking to myself the explorer only has one serpentine belt that runs everything which includes the AC. That was my first red flag! Both rear tires being bald on the inside is stretching it considering this vehicle doesn't get driven that much. Plus, it does not drift to one side or the other while going down the road. It rides smooth. They said nothing about the other rear tire being worn last month and now it's both that's bald inside. The was the second red flag! So I just say ok I'll set something up later to fix all this. Needless to say the Ford place didn't do the inspection. My dad decides to take it to another place to get the state inspection and told the mechanic to check what the ford place said was wrong. Needless to say the mechanic at this other place couldn't see any issues. I will not be doing business with Asheboro Ford anymore. Side note I will also be getting my brother to check these so called issues the Ford place said was wrong. I'm sure my brother won't see anything wrong as well. Asheboro Ford service department is scamming people and I highly recommend you not to do business with them.
