Bought a brand new Bronco and a 2019 ford ranger the same day. They claim the ranger had a full inspection prior to putting it up for sale. the whole truck was repainted, dents and all, the spare tire did not have any tread, and did not hold air. the factory jack and jack wand was missing for the spare tire, the masking tape was still on the truck when I got home. it was raining the day I bought the truck so the body damage was hidden by water. the transmission is being replaced by crossroads ford in asanford nc currently. the oil was black, thin and smelled heavily of gasoline and was impossible that it was changed. the rear window was replaced and re- replaced because it was leaking and the defrost cables were never hooked up. they NEVER DISCLOSED and NEVER INSPECTED this truck like they said they did. I mention it because unlike most dealerships, they had classic vintage cars (and a little history lesson) on display. The building was clean and the staff was polite and helpful. I told them what I needed, and they delivered under budget and a price I simply couldn't beat anywhere else. The process was streamlined and efficient so I didn't have to spend the entire day sitting at the dealership. Every person I met was so nice and helpful, including the owner! This dealership needs help. everything about their customer service and the way they do business is off. They charge $12 to use your debit card in the service department--it's 2025. They require multiple visits and phone calls for basic stuff. nothings easy. They don't communicate well with customers or eachother. Theyre hard to reach, the phone number listed goes straight to sales and they're rude when you need transferring to the service department. They charge You $12 for your debit card transaction; $90 to "look" at your car. And $10 for any miscellaneous rags/supplies to use there eyes to look at a cosmetic issue. Then when you agree to the repair they leave you hanging for weeks with zero communication and then they don't apply any of the money you've spent on the looking and the supplies towards your repair. Only rating a 1 because there is no 0. I have dealt with this dealership 3 times in the past 2 years, 1 time ATTEMPTING to buy a car, and 2 times repairing my mustang. The first time I took my mustang there, they told me it was fixed and they didn't hear the rear end noise it went in for anymore, after driving off the lot within 30 seconds I could hear the noise, they obviously wanted more money and more of my time to fix the car AGAIN after saying it was fixed. Second time I went in my 2014 mustang 5.0, was looking to trade for a 2015 5.0 they had and they refused to let me test drive it because "they don't let just anyone drive 5.0's" even though I came in a 5.0..... the manager eventually called me and was trying to make it right but at this point I was so fed up I went to another dealer who showed more respect to customers. The 3rd and final time I will EVER go was last week my car was having issues and I called to set up a diagnostic. The guy on the phone told me it was a guarantee diagnosis (not company policy but he said it not me) so I set up the appointment. They eventually call and tell me they think it's my 02 sensors, so I took the car home spent well over $500 on 02's and 150 on the diagnostic and it didn't fix the car. I went back because they should honor what the guy on the phone told me (policy or not if you tell me something you should honor that) and the service department manager tells me to make my car bone stock again and then it won't have issues. (My car is a bagged fbo show car, I make money being a influencer online) so that's not a option for me. So I then talk to who I assume was the manager of the dealership? Not 100% sure but he basically told me if I don't like what they tell me then go somewhere else. They also say that my car idles bad because it doesn't have catalytic converters (hasn't had them for 2 years with no issue and is tuned for it) EVEN THOUGH only front 02 sensors affect ur cars running (witch are before the catalytic converters) so idk how that would even make sense. The service department and the dealership is a JOKE! I hope they can take criticism and work on what they need to. read more

I needed an inspection on my truck. It always went to Asheboro Ford for inspections and "the works". I own two trucks, a 2012 and a 2014, so one went every six months. The 2012 went in for the usual service. I received a call that the truck failed inspection due to the tires. Daniel, the service writer suggested a set of tires, told me they were good tires, that this is what they put on their trade-ins. I'll admit, I should have done my homework. I didn't ask about brand, or style, anything.. I simply trusted the service technician. I told them to put tires on the truck.. Imagine my surprise when I received another phone call, AFTER THE TIRES WERE INSTALLED, with Daniel telling me the truck had now failed because of a leaking CVR boot. After refusing to spend another $1100 for new CVR joints, I picked the truck up and took it to another place to get it inspected. A service guy at Asheboro Ford got the inspection criteria book out and told me it shouldn't have failed on the seal, but it wasn't his license and we had to go by what the technician said. WHY WASN'T THE ENTIRE TRUCK INSPECTED AND I TOLD ABOUT ALL THE PROBLEMS AT ONE TIME?? It was for an upsell apparently! The truck sat for a couple of months. After I started driving it I noticed the tires vibrated terribly. The tires had less than 50 miles on them. I took the truck back to Asheboro Ford after talking to Daniel again to be rebalanced. After this was completed I was told " these tires ride rough" I then spoke to Joe the service manager. He told me the same thing. These tires ride rough.. Joe told me if I didn't like them I could purchase another set and he would knock off the cost of mounting and balancing the new tires. WHAT?? All I wanted was for someone to actually ride with me and feel how bouncy these tires were. I was refused this service. Joe was always out and wouldn't return my phone calls. Daniel told me " I don't ride, I just take them down there" while pointing toward the service area. NO ONE WOULD RIDE WITH ME TO FEEL THESE CRAPPY TIRES!! I asked to speak to the owner Michael Sperber. The receptionist told me he was in a meeting and would call me back shortly. Didn't hear from him for two days. Apparently Mr Sperber has all his employees trained to ignore customers with complaints and they will go away, as no one would ever return my phone calls.. Mr Sperber did call me back two days later. I asked him about two days when I was told he would call me back shortly. He response was " in a meeting" was code for not available and "it was nobody's damn business where he was" He never asked about or listed to my complaints. He talked to his service techs about the situation, and was quite arrogant talking to me and kept cutting me off when I started to speak. He suggested my truck was the problem. This truck rode great until they installed these linglong tires on it. Who ever heard of linglong tires?? He offered to give me $200 back on the tires I spent $700 on.. He suggested I talk to Liz. Liz quoted me four sets of tires with the discounts Mr Sperber offered. I got tired of the hassle with these people. I finally went to 64 tire and automotive and purchased a good set of tires from Carlos, and sold the new linglong tires to a guy for his hunting truck. These tires have less than 200 miles on them at this time and shake the truck violently at 45-55 MPH because Asheboro Ford doesn't care to fix the issue. Carlos sold me four tires and was cheaper than the quote I got from Asheboro Ford. He will get my business from now on for oil changes and inspections. I am done with Asheboro Ford. It's my opinion Mr Sperber runs a company that values quick one time money far more than repeat customers. Green Ford is just up the road in Greensboro and I definitely will ride there before I ever go to Asheboro Ford for any trades I will do in the future. The lesson here is NEVER trust Asheboro Ford. Go somewhere else for trades or service. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received. We bought a used Ford. When we got there to test drive the salesman Lawrence had the vehicle already started ( Yes our bad that's a big red flag). We test drive the truck everything was great. We bought the truck everything was great. After we bought the car we got into the car to leave. At this time the dealership was closing and the salesman was driving off (BEFORE WE DROVE OFF THE LOT). We get in and realize the keys are not fully functional and the back door sensor is broken (you can turn it off by pressing "ok" as Lawrence did when we first pulled up and the car was on). He stopped as he saw we has and issue and he just said its fine. Well I call the service desk and they were extremely friendly (Monty was at least). Monty tells us to bring it by because he wants to make it right and make sure everything is good (mind you we live 45min away). So my brings it in 2 weeks later since we work full time. No one again is wearing a mask. They tell him that they are not going to fix it that we are lying about not being told of the issue... Chris Prichet yells in my husband's face without a mask on claiming my husband must have gotten amnesia. I call to speak to the owner but he is not available so i get to talk to Mike Dua who ignored our complaints and speaks down to me and continues to call me a liar about the issue not being disclosed. When I tell him he is a liar and that his staff should be wearing masks he then tries to push his political views on me saying that masks are an overstep of the government and tell me since i am calling him a liar the conversation is over and he hangs up.... I don't understand why we cant be treated with respect and human decency and our concerns over safety cant be addressed nicely. Its so frustrating to call a place where you purchased a vehicle for 17+K and be treated this way. Take your business elsewhere! I cant believe they are even still in business with the way the treat their customers. Honestly, we would have been fine paying to fix it if everyone was just respectful we are not the ones making it a big deal we just wanted to know the problems upfront and drive off the lot with confidence. But I give this dealership a 1 only because zero is not available. ******* *******After posting this on Facebook, Fox 8, Ford Asheboro Facebook and sending it to many people Ford offered me 2 free tanks of gas if I remove all post. I've decide to not remove the post because two free tanks of gas they tried to bribe me with is not worth the verbal and mental abuse I had to go through with this dealership. *********** Only after "requesting" an apology from Chris Pritchard the sales manager did he get on the phone. He said because this was a weird deal and tempers were up he cursed me out on the phone. The story goes like this...... I walked out of ford on June 6th, keys in hand and told everything was set. Then two weeks later they cant guarantee financing. It got so bad this past weekend I received a call from them needing my employer info for the 3rd time. When I called them out of there lack of professionalism I was told by Corey mims that it's my fault my credit isn't great and I'm the reason the loan wont br approved. Then I was told by Chris Pritchard whn Corey handed him the phone that " i need not catch a f'n attitude" (exact way it was said) Here is my text between myself and Corey mims the finance manger. There now saying to bring the car back because they messed up the paperwork. Here's my text messages with Corey Mims. He refers to me as "dude." Remeber drove off with Hyundai elentra June 6th. We bought a used vehicle from them that they did not disclose to us that it had been in an accident with right side impact. Every advertisement, sales associate and the auto check stated that this vehicle had been in no accidents. We only found out because our financial institution ran their own vehicle check. This was upsetting but we were willing to let it be since we already bought the vehicle. However, 5 DAYS after we bought the vehicle we can't get the car to turn on. Then 2 days after that the car won't turn on, and we discover the linkage in the transfer case is broken. I called the dealership and spoke to both Mike from sales and Rich who does financing and they told me to take the vehicle to a Jeep dealership to get it repaired as the repair will be covered by the warranty that came with the vehicle and that Asheboro Ford would cover the deductible amount. It's an unfortunate situation but they did offer to pay for the deductible which was very much appreciated. BUT THEN, we find out that Rich incorrectly filed the warranty and put it under a vehicle we didn't even buy. So our warranty was essentially invalid. I call them and they tell me they are going to fix it. Well our vehicle was fixed and the warranty still hadn't been corrected. The next day Rich tells me that the warranty has been fixed and that he has contacted the repairing dealership to let them know. I then get a call from the repairing dealership that this repair isn't covered by my warranty, despite being explicitly told by multiple members of Asheboro Ford that it was. So I call Asheboro Ford to talk to Rich and he said he was going to figure it out for us. He even called our service manager at the other dealership and assured him that this was going to be taken care of "one way or another". The next day, the day we told Rich we were going to go pick up our vehicle, I called Asheboro Ford to get an update and Rich is conveniently out of the office and our car hasn't been paid for. I call and speak to a manger, Chris, and he said he would find out some more information for me. I called several times after that and Chris was never available. We showed up in person and a manger wouldn't even speak to us. We were reassured by Amy that we would be getting a call regarding the situation the next day. We did not. I have called every couple days since then and every time I call I am told they are "working on it" and that they will call back with an update. They never do. It has been 3 weeks since our last correspondence with the dealership and no manager will return our calls. We were told by the dealership that this vehicle had been thoroughly inspected- it clearly wasn't. We were told by the dealership that this vehicle had not been in an accident- it was. We were told we would have a warranty on the vehicle, but they carelessly mishandled the execution of the paperwork for it. They told me to take my car to the repair facility and that it would be covered - it wasn't. They told us so many things that turned out to be blatant lies. I was originally going to write a 5 star review because we had such a great experience with the sales team the day we bought the car. But they are clearly an incompetent dealership who is negligent and misrepresents the vehicles that they sell. Buyers beware. read more

Dealer spent two weeks dragging me around on a bronco saying they couldn't sell it till the it had all these accesories on it. Had me come in twice for no reason, gave me a price and then spent the two weeks trying to jack the price up on me.. tried to get me to sign preliminary paperwork and then jack the price up on me.... it went up by 1k to an 11k mark up which I agreed to... well after another week it turned into another 5k plus..its now sitting at 19k plus. ..lol. These people are liars and crooks.. (just read the bad reviews bc they are spot on).. who like to play with words like misinderstanding while they treat you like horrible as a customer, lie to your face for greed, and will tell you lie after lie to string you along to raise prices in the current market .. especially on a bronco. They will make promises and then backtrack with excuses as to why they need to lie to you more than they already are. Worst dealership and business I've ever done with a car lot. The service people will try to curse you and fight you if you take your car in for service and they think you might be wanting to turn something in on warranty. Beware; Their new cars may be okay, but NEVEF BUY a used car from these people. I recently found a car I had been looking into for years, a 1997 Mazda Miata, and it seemed too good to be true! Perfect color, high miles, but 20 yrs old, expected. Bought through video inspection and the staff was very helpful. Only when it was delivered to me in Florida did I find the Odometer had been tampered with. They rolled it back 11,000 miles, and I have contacted the NC DOT to investigate. (Mazda' reset their odometers) called about this, sales mgr claimed " honest mistake" from 100,000 mi to 200,000 mi is NOT AN HONEST MISTAKE. If that's how they do business, avoid at all costs. Read paperwork carefully, especially previous owners mileage claim. Someone will likely go to jail, as this is a FELONY. read more
