My friend worked there for three years and not only did they screw her in the service department INTENTIONALLY misdiagnosing her car as needing THOUSANDS in repairs, they terminated her employment and her health insurance benefits even though she was one of the top salespeople every single month and had zero issues until she had to report her manager to HR for buying illegal drugs at work, abuse, retaliation, etc. Instead of doing the right thing, they tried to offer her a very small amount of "Gag money" hoping she would be desperate enough to take it especially now that they had forced her into two car payments and she's a type 1 diabetic single mother of 3 - they really thought she would give up her rights to even SPEAK of what they have done to her because they offered her 1/8th of her salary for "severance pay." She's told me some horror stories of service screwing people because it's "their job and they're told to leave their integrity at the door," of salespeople and finance trying to screw little old ladies out of money, things that would just blow your mind. If they can treat someone that made them a ton of money this way, how will they treat you? Think about it. When she can speak out, she intends to. Newspaper, evening news, this is a story to be told and unless they significantly increase their offer, she's going to move forward with a lawsuit and keep her rights to speak! As a side note, because of the stress she's currently been admitted to the hospital going on day 3 and found out that the hospital benefit they took out of her last check won't pay out because they specifically called the company and told them to terminate it on 5/3. She will have to file an appeal. They also took out hundreds of dollars for a rental they claimed she had up to the morning they terminated her although she was forced to buy another car at the end of the previous month. So they one hundred percent falsified documents to steal from her. Doctors are telling her the infection she's fighting has only gotten worse because of the stress. They knew she was battling a serious health issue and she had just submitted FMLA paperwork, but before the deadline, they wrongfully and illegally terminated her employment. Think about this next time you even consider taking your car to Modern for service or buying a car from there. They don't care about people. Only MONEY.

I would say the one in Salisbury is also very efficient at these types of procedures. No big bargains at this Sam's or at the other one which I also go to. I do appreciate the military discount offered at this Sam's location. This business also does coupons. I have enjoyed the staff here, no problems. No expectations I drove from Charlotte to Lexington to be utterly amazed at the professionalism of the employees of TK auto. I was greeted when I first drove up. The staff was super friendly. First glance at the garage bays looked very nice and well kept. I meet Johnny, Robert, Piseth & Brandon and felt confident watching these mechanics work on the cars currently in the shop. Johnny the owner asked me what my symptoms were. A few seconds later after doing a inspection, he came wt a game plan and prognoses. He gave me a computer diagnostic and read the error msgs. Having a German car and knowing how touchy it can be - I was weary at first. He explained what the issue could be, and added they there might be other alternatives that would fix the issue. I agreed the the alternative work repair versus going the other route having to replace sensors and dismantling parts. After Johnnys quick fix, he asked that I drive the car over the weekend and if the check light comes back on the part required has already been ordered and ready to replace on Monday. I am now home and was so pleased that my Check Engine light is gone ! Will continue to follow his instructions and drive the car to cycle the codes and hope that the check engine light is gone to do my inspection on Monday. Very happy to made the decision to solicit TK Auto Repair. Very satisfied with the owner, mechanics and employees. The service and knowledge was very refreshing for once. Did not feel like I was in a corporate chain auto shop that wanted to gauge you. Will repost Monday to give full details on the check engine light and if I passed. Definitely worth the drive !! He warns me AAA may not cover the cost. Fine. Come pull me out, I've got a credit card. Two hours go by, nothing. So I call AAA because Jackson's isn't picking up the phone, can't leave a message, won't reply to text. AAA tells me Jackson's has CANCELLED my order because I couldn't send photos of the car due to weak cell service. Nobody bothered to tell ME I didn't have a tow truck on the way, they just canceled. So incredibly unprofessional and another hour waiting for a tow, car sinking deeper in the mud. Flipping shameful.
