First time in their new location. It's much nicer and clean. The hub and I came here for the Spa Date for Two package which includes 2 RMT massages, 2 facials and some refreshments. They were done in the same room. What can I say, it was very relaxing. I guess reading the other review, it depends on who you get. We both had very thorough masseuses; my husband's made sure she was hitting all the right spots, and mine gave me a full body massage including feet and head. The facials were alright, mine was very good (my husband's not so much) and I would probably go back for another. One Tip: They accept Way Spa certificates (which are $75 for $100 ay Costco) but they cannot be used for RMT or hair salon services. read more

Experimenting with many spas around Markham area, and this was a top contender..I thought the service was absolutely outstanding right from the start. Reception was welcoming as they took my coat and provided some water while giving me a form to sign. I requested the 1 hour relaxation massage and had Starry Wong. She was kind and did a phenomenal job..would definitely recommend her if you get a chance. Improvements could be a bit more sound proofing in the room ? but Unionville is generally pretty quiet compared to some of the Toronto spas I've gone to. I went with my husband for 1 hour full-body massages as we were new to the area and we wanted to check it out. It was nice that we could both be in the same room but the massages themselves were lacking. The employees didn't want to massage our feet for some reason (our feet are perfectly normal) and that is where we really needed it. They also smelled of cigarette smoke. Otherwise it was a clean and inviting environment, not overly stuffy with candles etc. With better spas around I can't say I would go back despite the 10% off facial coupon they gave us on our way out, it was only good for 60 days. read more

I booked a couples massage for my husbands birthday. The booking process was really easy and managed to get a Saturday appointment the same week of booking. Prices are bit higher than other 1 hour RMT massages in the area and downtown. However, the staff is really great. The location of the spa is great as it's close to restaurants and shops along Main Street Unionville. I called in advance and asked if they could accommodate us if we brought in some champagne and snacks to toast my husbands birthday before the massage. They were so accommodating and even put us on massage chairs while we had a drink. The rmts were very professional and nice. The only think lacking at this spa is the decor. I found the rooms a bit outdated. Overall I had a great experience and would come again. read more

Just like the number of stars indicates - meh, I've experienced better. Don't get me wrong, this place is convenient for me and one of the better places in Markham to go for waxing, but if you don't mind travelling elsewhere, you can get better deals and better waxers. I have gotten brazilians here and the service is inconsistent - it really depends on the woman you get doing the job. One lady was just awful, it took around 40 mins to get it done! I thought that was unreasonable considering other places can do it in less than 15 mins and are less painful. Disclaimer: I have never had another service done at this spa, just waxing. read more

I have been coming here for the past almost 10 years to this location and they never fail me. I went in to have my eyebrows done and Selena was as usual amazing. She was quick since I had my daughter with me as she was getting irritated. So Selena made it that my appointment was quick and painless. This place is beautiful cozy and so sophisticated. They try to accommodate you in every way and to make you feel you get your money's worth. A definite try! read more

Awful customer service! If you complain, they will give you a fake smile and give you a snotty remark. Apparently, they emphasize that they have very rich clientelle. So if you are not rich, you will not get worthy of their time!!! Don't get gift certificates from them! RIP OFF. read more

My experience at this spa was devastatingly bad. Between the noise and the disaster hack job on my nails, I was so sorry I chose to go there before my wedding. I spent many weeks growing my nails and shaping them so they were smooth and rounded. I had not been to this spa in a few years but decided to book a manicure before my wedding. The girls at the spa knew it was my wedding and that my mom and I wanted to enjoy a relaxing manicure and pedicure while making sure my nails looked nice for my big day. The Headache: After offering my mom a coffee and forgetting to bring it to her, they sat us in an area where for the duration of the mani/pedi we had to listen to hair dryers and two small kids screaming the whole time. By the time the noise stopped we were basically finished and just had to dry the nails. I had such a headache by that time that I couldn't think straight. The Rough Feet: Going in, I had some dry skin on my heels that was beginning to get little cracks and I was hoping they could file and smooth the rough spots easily since my feet were not too rough. I was surprised to see that the girl did not file my heels at all and only did a bit of filing on the bottom of the ball of my foot. She didn't smooth any of the areas that were most problematic and I ended up having to go home and do it myself. The Shocking Shape Change: In the weeks leading up to my wedding I had made careful effort to grow my nails and shape and smooth them. Since I walked in with what were clearly rounded and smoothed nails, I figured the girl would understand that I would like to remain smooth and rounded and not make any drastic changes in shape or length right before my wedding. I also mentioned to the girl that I had cracked one of the nails a week before but had taken care to fix it by filing the rough edge from which the crack originated and by using nail glue (miracle product! After you do a coat you can't even see the crack anymore) to seal the crack. When it came time to file my nails, instead of just following the shape I was going for or asking me what I wanted, the girl filed my whole right hand super short and square (though the tip was more of a wavy line than a perfect square). I couldn't see what she was doing until she turned my hand to do the thumb. I was horrified to see what she had done! I asked her if she was squaring my nails and when she said yes I was shocked. I couldn't understand why she would make such a drastic change without asking me. I also couldn't figure out why she wouldn't have asked permission to make them so much shorter. I explained to the girl that I needed to have the nails rounded in order to prevent them from breaking because they break very easily when not rounded. I also explained to her that the rough corners and edges would be a huge problem because they catch on my work cloths. I was very disappointed about the length change but tried to politely just ask her to please round them back to the shape I had before so there would be no corners. In an effort to round the corners she made the nails even shorter so they were mostly shorter than the end of my fingers. I still had the wavy look at the tips because of how short she made the middle of each tip. At this point I was thinking of how I would get an appointment elsewhere in such limited time before the wedding so that I could have fake nails put on even though I really don't like having fake nails on. I had to ask her if I could use the file so that I could smooth out the rough spots and really picky bits that will catch on cloths. We had agreed before the filing that we would do a french manicure with a light pink over to soften the look. After the nail filing I mentioned to the girl that I didn't think the french manicure we had planned would look nice with the nails that short and I thought I should do a neutral colour. I was secretly hoping to obscure the terrible shape and super short length by not bringing attention to the nails. The girl assured me that she could make the french still look good and she pressed me to let her try the french with the promise that if it didn't look good she would remove it and do something else. Sure enough, the french looked terrible because of the short length but also because she did the white on each nail a slightly different shape and didn't follow the shape of my fingers on any of them. She also got white all over my finger tips and when I told her that I couldn't go to work with the white on my skin she tried to remove it with some remover and paper towel (leaving little bits of fluff in the polish). She then forgot to do the light pink over top and I decided to leave me looking like I was playing with whiteout. I didn't bother reminding her because I knew at that point I would have to remove the polish anyway to get my finger tips back to skin colour. I was so disappointed I wanted to cry. I went home to search for a solution before the wedding with no luck :( read more

I've been to a lot of spas before and had my share of disappointments--one of which happened at this spa. I bought a package for my friend and I for a girls day out. We spent 3 hours in gruelling disappointments and can't wait for our services to be over. The receptionist was nice and pleasant. We were given teas but my girlfriend's tea cup had lipstick stain on the outer circle still on it! Yeek. OhMyGosh-gross! Clearly we knew that this spa doesn't really keep this place cleanl! We were about to find out soon enough. We had our pedis done. My toe nails looked great but didn't feel as though I had a relaxing service. My esthetician spent very littly time attending my needs. I was complaining the whole time that the product in the water they put is making my legs itchy. That same night my ankles had rashes. The facials were a OK. I can hear the estheticians talking "gossiping" about past clients and their stories. Wow, we were speechless that they conduct themselves this way. Oh, and about the smoking... my esthetician did smell like she had a nice puff after she left me with my mask! So, not too impressed with their services! So clients beware! Very disappointed!
