Aimee was wonderful at coordinating and answering my hundreds of questions. Very professional and really cares about the customers. The installation team was fabulous. They did everything they could to meet my needs. José did the impossible with my job, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. They installed a three-board Kentucky fence and it looks great. They were great to work with from Amy in the office to Keith who installed the fence. They arrived on time and set the posts on Friday and finished the installation on Monday in three hours with great results. read more

I realize mistakes happen and all you can ask for is that it is made right or if it can't be made right you are compensated for the issues and time. I ordered a custom cut stair rail from Ashlee Fence. After 7 weeks waiting for it to be custom made they came out to install it. The first install are the first 4 pics.... needless to say it was a disaster of an install. I called and emailed the company and they sent someone out to survey the scene. He apologized and assured me they would make it right. 4 weeks later, the second custom cut rail was ready to be installed...this time, they shortened the rails too much and had to put new screw holes in ....leaving the previous screw holes exposed...4th pic...Also, 1/2 way down the right side of the rail, the clip was not able to hold the rail so it would simply pop out if any force was applied. .Again, a rep from Ashlee apologized and said he would come out to correct. He was very nice and did genuinely want to fix the issues. After he worked on it he asked if it was good enough to call it finished. He gave me the option of yet another custom build if I didn't like the finished project. Given that this project was now well over 13 weeks old and we still had not been able to get a final approval from the county, I said just leave it like it is . The company gave me $750 discount after the first install...and the rep told me that I deserved more after all the issues and time this has taken. Well, apparently the owner did not agree as they emailed me to let me know that no further discount would be applied. This was not an inexpensive project and when you pay thousands of dollars for a custom cut railing system you want it to be right ....and after numerous attempts to make it right fail....you expect compensation. Again, the rep that helped me was understanding and tried to do the right thing. I appreciate that. I do not appreciate a company that is unable to hold up their end of an agreement and then doesn't even make up for it in the only way they are able to....by returning some more of my money. read more

I had high hopes for this company when I received my quote. The hope quickly deteriorated from there. First, I was quoted 4-6 weeks (Signed agreement Oct 17th). Install did not begin until December 19th, 8 weeks and 2 days later. On the 19th I was told it would be completed that Thursday the 21st. It was not. I was then told they began installing the wrong fence and had to start over which delayed things to completion on Friday. Much to my dismay I returned home Friday night to a not even half-finished fence. I had to send pictures of the mess the installers left; rolls of nails, blades, tools, drink cans, and wood just lying all about. Myself and my dogs both stepped on a saw blade at night that they left on my stairs and I can only thank the heavens that no one was sliced open. Mounds of mud were also left in my neighbor's yard. At this point, I no longer had a safe space for my dogs to be watched so I could visit my family who lives out of the country. I had to cancel my non-refundable flight and sat at home, alone, for the holidays instead. I am told that due to all of this, they all agree I will be given a discount. We are now 10.5 weeks later with the fence finally finished. The next day I see the gate post is wobbly so I call and ask why. It was not secured to the house and they came back out to add two $1-2 L brackets to the brick of my home. YAY, one problem solved. I am assured I will receive a phone call from Erin, their general manager about the discount I will be receiving. Today I got the invoice, and guess what? no phone calls, no discount. I responded to the email asking why after all of this the discount was not taken seriously. To which Erin replies, well, we did smaller spacing as a courtesy to you, we came back out and added L brackets as a courtesy to you. COURTESY? You simply cannot be serious. I still today, have holes with visible cement where they did not bother to put back the dirt/mud and instead chose to leave it all through the yard. There are still small chunks of 2x4 and yellow string in my backyard that they left. Not to mention my yard is a complete mess. I am livid. I have owned four homes and installed fences at every home and never have I experienced such a lack of professionalism. read more

The gentlemen who did the work were friendly and got the job done quickly with great quality! Beware of the crew. Ive used Ashlee on two occasions dating back to 2001. On the latest, May 2014 the workers solicited me for some side work, painting the fence that they were installing and my backyard shed. They made it seem as though they were subcontractors who did work for Ashlee. Needless to say they collected a half down deposit and were never seen again. They must do this alot, because they sure knew how to dodge the court system, and left my wife and I out $600.00. I won't use Ashlee again, and certainly won't recommend them to anyone else read more
