Dave got right to creating a few different drawings from what he had heard and seen in our conversations. He was super responsive and open to feedback, and very patient as we changed our minds (wood type, style details, etc... very patient!). When the big reveal came (aka delivery), we were grinning from ear to ear. Even from very detailed computer drawings, you never quite know what you'll get, but our delivery was better than we could have ever imagined. Dave and his team take their profession to the next level, and you will not be disappointed either. On a side note, Dave is very very involved in the community. I only learned of this when we saw his family out at a museum a few months later, but it further warmed my heart to know we were customers to such a talented artist and wonderful man (he is an incredible foster parent).

It's a great system put to excellent effect. You can tell talking to the workers that they enjoy their craft, and beyond that, they're good at it. The pricing is a huge thing, since custom-built furniture doesn't come cheap. But if you have the means and you like high-quality furnishings that with a classy, understated elegance, Hill Country should be your first (and only) stop.

Ok well had I know this we would not have bought the rug!!! So then I requested to just return the rug and was told that returns have to made in 3 days!! My husband and I cannot lift the bed to lay the rug, which means we have to try to hire and pay someone, and we didn't want to do that, so we were going to return it, but now we can't do that!!! I feel certain that the salesman did not know this could happen!! But I think it's important that other people know!!! !We were very specific in store about our situation, but yet we are now stuck with a $170 rug that we only bought because we liked it and thought it would put it like everything else.
