Update, after a year and a half our Axiom sofas are falling apart. The "leather" is not real leather. Real leather doesn't peel and this couch is peeling all over. Called the store and they say it normal wear and tear after only a year and a half. Working with corporate now but the sofas are junk! The salesman lied and said they were genuine leather and the store continues to cover for him by says that's normal wear. I will never shop here again and urge everyone to look elsewhere for your purchase of anything that you would expect to be leather. I left a review on the Ashley website about the peeling of the leather and it was taken down due to legal issues. A quick search shows several class action lawsuits because of their "leather". Please don't go here. I genuinely feel this company is the worst in the business. They lie about deliveries. The ignore your calls to resolve issues. Customer service can't help with anything. They literally make you call the store which doesn't answer. You won't get your furniture so do nothing waste your time looking for something here. They never delivered my furniture back in July and still charged my synchrony card. It was supposed to be resolved the first week of September. Do yourself a favor. Read all reviews. And actually listen to them. This is the worst furniture company you could use. I'm giving a star because I am forced to do so. Otherwise I would give them a shit emoji because that would represent their customer service and warranty program. Let me explain how it goes in the show room when you are purchasing the furniture. Great. They Make you feel so comfortable. Which is exactly what they are trained to do. After purchase you are screwed. Literally. Customer service is non existent. Warranty is the worst in the business and non existent after purchase as well. So here goes the story. Bought a couch and recliner. Bought the warranty which they proudly told you covered everything and that you could feel safe because they wanted to take care of you as a customer. Accident then happened on the couch so we called the warranty company to get it taken care of and was told the first option was to replace the fabric piece on the damaged section of the couch. Ok no problem. After two moths and constant follow up it finally arrived. But the service technician didn't show for weeks after that. Once he did arrive he walked in and looked at the fabric sent to us and without hesitation said to me omg that fabric isn't even close. So my response is what would you do if it was yours. His response was have them replace fabric or part and if that doesn't work then they should replace the couch. So we denied the installation of the part which is what he advised. So after waiting another month and still not hearing anything we called and started to get a little more persistent that we wanted to get the couch fixed. What we were told is that if they sent the right part then that was all they were responsible to do. So they were not responsible for the dye change after a year of production. So basically what we will have is a couch that will have two sections that match and one section that won't. Because they aren't obligated for more than that. Because, everyone I know is willing to accept the discoloration of the couch and proudly display it in there living room for all to see. Let me advise all of you to take a hard look at the warranty if you purchase and read every line before you buy it. If I were you I would do business with a more reputable company because it is extremely clear to me now that Ashley furniture has no intention of honoring their own warranty to keep you happy but more or less to line their own pockets. But here is where they messed up. In March I'll receive my annual bonus and fully intended to purchase a new living room coffee and tables set and a new dining room. Do not buy furniture here. It is not cheap but is made cheaply. I've bought furniture at big lots that was cheaper and better made. The insurance they make you buy with it is a joke. The delivery process has been horrendous, I understand the delays due to COVID-19, but once the furniture is delivered the hardware is missing and the delivery techs damage and do not set-up furniture correctly. I purchased a sectional from the Ashley on Barrett Parkway last week and the sales associate Lisa was amazing! I like how they let you look around the store without following you around. She told me that the sectional would be delivered within the next couple of days which is an amazingly fast turnaround. My delivery window was from 8-12. The deliverers informed me at 7:10 that they were 45 minutes away. They arrived before 8am which I loved because I did not have to wait around for 4 hours. It had been raining that day so they were courteous and put down a mat to wipe their feet on so that they would not get my carpet dirty. They were finished with the delivery and assembly by 8:15 which was awesome! On the same day, I also had a 9-1 delivery window with Rooms to Go and they did not arrive until 1:25pm, so I ended up waiting around for 4+ hours anyways. There was no explanation as to why they were late. They walked right into my house without wiping their feet first and they left my door wide open while they were assembling my furniture upstairs. We have a large credit line with Ashley and have purchased from multiple locations in the eastern US over the past 10 years. I have NEVER had more poor service than this place. Lori Pearson the "Customer service manager" was snotty, condescending, unhelpful, lazy, and rude. Instead of patiently listening to my concerns and situation she cut me off from speaking, interrupted me several times, and I actually heard her sigh! She said she couldn't help me and told me to call the corporate customer service number. Basically she just didn't do her job. Laura - the store manager - never returns phone calls and thought it more important to go to a dinner where "sales people sell over 1 million dollars" than to return a customers (mine) THREE PHONE CALLS!! Good for you, Laura! Good for you for not actually assisting your customers, doing your job, & helping to retain big accounts. Bravo. Well done. My husband and I recently purchased furniture for our new home. After visiting multiple furniture stores we chose Ashley HomeStore because it has good quality furniture for reasonable prices. Our sales associate, Dave, was great! He was very helpful and did everything he could to help us find exactly what we wanted for the best price. I also appreciate that he did not try to oversell. The experience in the store with the salesperson was awesome. I purchased a wall unit which came on delivery date promised and a smaller credenza that I took in my vehicle. The delivery guys were very rude. For some reason they couldn't use the gate code. I had two prior deliveries today, so I know it works . It was a wet day and they enter and walk on your carpet with no boot covers, they dropped the box twice bringing it up the stairs and then they refused to clean up the styrofoam mess they made from unpacking. WORTH THE READ- I PROMISE!!!! GO SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE- 0 STARS We purchased our couch from Ashley on November 26th. Before going into the store, I called multiple locations asking if they had the couch we wanted to purchase on their floor so that we could see it in person first. No locations did but we really wanted this couch. At the time the website was running a promotion with a spinner to receive a discount. We won a 10% off. When I called, I made sure to ask that they would honor it and they said yes. We then went into the Kennesaw location to purchase the couch the gentleman we worked with was helpful, but of course stated that the 10% would not be honored with the couch we selected. I explained that we had already spoken to someone that said it would. He then spoke with his manager and they offered us the 10% if we purchased the protection plan. We did so because it was a 5-year plan. When we completed the purchase our delivery date was for December 17th, which of course felt like forever. The following weekend we moved into our new home and realized that we wanted to change the layout of the couch so that the chaise was on the other side (we didn't measure prior and that was on us). I called immediately and spoke with a Felicia. She changed the layout and informed me that there would not be a delivery date change. A couple days later she called to let me know that in fact the day would be changed and that she was so sorry. It was changed to the 24th, yes Christmas Eve. They claim that they only deliver to our area (Cartersville) twice a week Tues/Fri but that Friday of the week of the 17th wasn't available. At this point I was of course upset but being that I was a teacher on break it was fine and I would be home. Christmas eve comes and they bring us the couch.... In TWO DIFFERENT COLORS. So, Felicia changed the layout of the couch AND the color!!! We could not do anything at the point because of the holiday. Mind you we also did not UNWRAP the couch because we did not want to get charged for it, so we had only a chaise to sit on over the holiday. On December 26th my boyfriend and I went to the Kennesaw location and spoke with Fred, the manager. At first, he was not very apologetic, and we were very frustrated being that it was our first Christmas in our new home. By the end we did get some money back and he explained that we could use the mis-matched couch as it would be another wait for our correct one. So, we went home and unwrapped the couch to use for 3 more weeks. Our new date for the correct couch was now on January 14th. Now we are going on months without our couch!!! Well January 14th comes, and our time frame was from 4-7pm. By 6 pm I knew it was not coming and that's when we received a call from dispatch letting us know that the truck with our couch broke down and that to call the store to figure out your new date. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? (Mind you I am not longer on break and we had to take off from work to wait on the couch.) After multiple phone calls to the store, dispatch and the warehouse we got a new date for Friday the 17th. I BEGGED THEM to do 4-7pm so that we did not have to take a day off from work again and they claimed that it could not be a definite due to the "route". On Thursday we get our confirmation for 8-12pm OF COURSE. So, my boyfriend had to take off another day of work (second one that week). Well on Friday by 11am no one had arrived or let me know that they were in route. We called dispatch and she said that they were coming to us next. By 2pm I receive a call that the truck had mechanical issues and it's not going till 4pm!!! MORE TRUCK ISSUES??? They finally arrive around 4, which I was home from work so boyfriend would NOT have had to take another day off to wait for them to NOT SHOW UP. Overall, this was an absolute nightmare. The store, dispatch and warehouse all LACK communication and costumer service. I even reached back out to the manager on Friday to give him an update and he told the receptionist to let me know he was busy, and he couldn't talk. How do you run a business like this???? Throughout this whole ordeal no one had seemed to care that they MESSED UP. If we did not go to the store the day after Christmas, we wouldn't have even got the small amount of money we got back, which I mind you my boyfriend would have made more going to work those two days!!!!! I reached out more times than I could count to try and figure out this situation and each time I was told I would get a call back and never a solution. They just brush you off after they get your money. No wonder they say NO REFUNDS. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. My experience was horrific!!! I have bought so much furniture in the last 3 years from 4 different Ashley Furniture Stores ( depending on the area of the house we are furnishing ) They don't have great customer service before the purchase, but after your purchase at the Kennesaw store forget about any survive what so ever ;( I was lazy and instead of going out to the Alpharetta or Marietta location ( excellent service and displays at both ) We went back into the Kennesaw Ashley Furniture ;((( WORST decision!!! Keisha, (don't know how to smell her name) Was absolutely obnoxious and disrespectful in every way. She did remind me that she was the manager at least 15 times, which made me think even less of this store. The Manager was so abusive to me, first about my service dog. Then she was just so terribly rude we left the Kennesaw store and bought the furniture elsewhere. I am so glad we did, great service and the other location was clean, staff was great and professional. We finally found what we were looking for: unique furniture items that were functional, well built and look good. They're moderately prices but not high priced- those were next door. It's nice when you can afford the nice high priced but sometimes the fancy name brands can be overly priced. Anyway, the associate was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. So you can't go wrong stopping into Ashley Furniture. They had a huge assortment of beds, bed frames, sofas and media centers. Delivery took longer than expected. Don't assume everything comes pre-assembled. Although they were courteous at set up, for some reason, they didn't butt up the bed to the wall like we wanted or clean up all the tiny foam beads before they left. They didn't ask where we wanted the bed either so after they left, we finally were able to push the heavy bed frame into the right spot. That'll teach me to be there at delivery. Be sure to supervise and review when they leave. You'll be exhausted by the time you get through looking on this block. read more

I placed a very large order at this store (thousands of dollars) - what followed was more than a month of misery, which continues at the time of this review. Both couches arrived damaged to the point where I had to reject delivery (hole in leather, large scratches). The headboard, nightstands, and dresser also arrived damaged (every single piece I ordered was damaged). The bed was also assembled incorrectly and many screws were stripped. Ashley sent a technician out to SPRAY PAINT all of the damaged pieces to cover up the damage, to fill the holes and chips with wax, and to reassemble the bed and replace stripped hardware. The tech was proud that he was able to "fake" a wood-grain appearance after all of his spray painting. Lastly, the installation crew hit the glass globe on my ceiling fan when setting up the bed and cracked it. After more than a dozen calls to customer service, and more than 6 emails to a customer service manager and the store manager, I have not received a single response. And, despite numerous attempts to try and contact someone, anyone, who cares enough about their customers to make things right, all I've been met with is silence. This is without a doubt the WORST company I have ever dealt with, and the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. Their goal seems to be to ignore you, frustrate you, and lie to you until you lose the will to fight. Save yourself time and find a more reputable furniture store. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I have made many purchases from Ashley Furniture over the last few months. I even took other family members there to help them fill their new home. My last major purchase took 7 weeks longer to get delivered, as they took it to the wrong address, then they scheduled me for 2 more deliveries that never showed up, after I rescheduled my day to be home. Then to top it all off, I went in to help family members buy furniture and picked up a pillow. I loved the pillow, but i woke up every morning with my eyes swollen ( some kind of weird allergic reaction). I stopped using the pillow and everything got better, so I went to the store for a return and they said I couldn't because of covid. Honestly I felt treated like I was a nuisance for even coming in. This was completely unacceptable when it was concerning a health concern. I even asked if they could simply replace it a comparable pillow but the pillow that was most comparable was going to cost me an additional $125. I even reached out to Corporate customer service and they said I would have to talk to the local store, so apparently local stores have no real oversight. If I could give zero stars I would. Talk about HORRIBLE customer service...this is a perfect example! I bought an $849 power recliner in July. With tax, delivery, set up and warranty it totaled more than $1100. First they no longer had any color other than a silvery gray. I didn't like the color but I loved the chair so I said ok. Then because of the pandemic it was on back order until October/November. That wasn't good but I did understand it was because of Covid. I went ahead with the purchase. On September 17th I received an e-mail from Ashley saying they were excited to tell me that they had received my purchase at the local warehouse and I could have it delivered early. On the 18th of September I received another e-mail again advising me how thrilled they were that my chair had arrived and did I want to schedule an earlier delivery. Again on the 19th, the 20th, 21st....18 consecutive days I received these e-mails. 18!!! Then the phone calls started. 6 calls and I finally told them that no, I wanted it delivered on the scheduled day of October 15th. We had to ready the room where it was going to go so October 15th was perfect. So today is the 15th. I hadn't heard from the delivery people what time they were coming, so I called customer service. The person I spoke to looked up my order and said oh, your order is on back order and won't be expected until FEBRUARY 2022. WHAT???? I explained that I had 18 emails stating my chair was in the local warehouse..she was not only clueless she was unable to help me further. I asked for a supervisor. None available. I asked her to contact the people who sent me the emails...nope, can't. Don't know who sends them. 2nd and 3rd call same results. Finally one woman tried to call the warehouse. They didn't answer the phone. She said she would email them. By this time I have had enough. I am convinced that the warehouse gave my chair to someone else. I drove to the store where I purchased the chair (Barrett Pkwy) and saw the manager. She said that she didn't think that my chair ever even made it to the warehouse. The 18 emails and 6 phone calls were probably in error. Sure enough it would be February before it would available if then. I gave her my credit card and said I want a full refund. All tax, delivery, warranty, everything, right now. She did the refund. I told her I want the chair and when they get them back in stock in February if I haven't already found another chair that I would re-buy it when the chair was actually available for immediate delivery. This company is absolute crap! If I didn't love this chair I would never set foot near them again. I really believe the chair came in and they gave my chair to another customer. They breached the contract by their actions. Do NOT buy from them unless the item is in stock and you can drive home with it that day. Don't make my mistake. read more

Well, the mattress was delivered today and I was told by the delivery guys that they are unable to haul away my old mattress because it had stains. I was never advised by the sales associate about this. I called customer service and I was told that they cannot haul away the old mattress nor I'm I eligible for return for an item that was delivered today. We sought out an Ashley store closest to us to purchase our 2 new sofas. We chose to get automatic reclining sofas. The first issue I had was the order was not placed while I was in store and when I called to verify my delivery date, they informed me the order had not even been placed so it took a month for my new couches to be even delivered. 2nd, the people who delivered my couches installed the wires underneath incorrectly so one of them stopped working a month after receiving them and I had to have service called out to repair and waited a week for parts to arrive. My husband ended up fixing it because by this point, we were outdone with them. 3rd and most recently I found out that the lady who sold me my couches told me that I would have 12 months deferred payments when in fact it only ended up being deferred interest. Now we call again and are told it's discontinued and if we want the item we purchased and paid to have delivered 4 months ago, we have to drive to Athens to pick it up. No interest in resolving and no explanation as to why they couldn't deliver a mirror in 4 months of excuses. Tried to give us store credit for the mirror minus our delivery fee. My husband and I were in search of a bed frame in the $400-$500 range. We caught the beginning of their Labor Day sale, so we were able to fit our budget way easier than expected. Our salesman was polite and courteous without being too pushy or overbearing. We found a bedframe on sale for approximately 60% under normal retail pricing, and we had it delivered this past weekend. Terrific process to get what I wanted. My sales guy was very understanding with me switching case furniture around to see what matched up with the living room collection. My dining room is exactly how I pictured it to be once it came to my apartment. And every staff member went out of their way to say hello and to ask if I needed anything. The sales people in this store are awful. They are lecherous sharks which left me felt like fresh chum the moment I walked in the door. Nina introduced herself and I asked where the type of furniture I was searching for could be found and the told her I would find her. She proceeded to follow me through the store. I took a quick restroom break and where do you think she was almost right outside the men's room door. I told her again I would find her and do you think she got it...NO. I turned and told her she and her store will not be getting one penny of my money and that I will be putting reviews of my experience EVERYWHERE I possibly can. I am but one man with my own opinion.
