Item sold out from underneath me in the time it took me to get to the store.

An odd and unprofessional experience here. An employee had posted an item used in a display on Facebook marketplace. I was interested and communication was quick. I let them know I was on my way and would be there in an hour (drove from Decatur up to Acworth). Upon arriving only to find the item had been sold out from underneath me! Understandably frustrated from the waste of time the blame game started with the employee who made the Facebook marketplace posting blaming the ladies up front who then turned around blaming the employee who made the posting. Lack of proper communication and unprofessionalism sent me home without spending a dime and I can't recommend to anyone else.

I've been wanting to come here for a while but for some reason I never make it. So finally I make it here..... What caught my attention is that once a month they have this cool thing in their parking lot called "junk day". It's where about a couple hundred people bring stuff from their garage or whatever and they set up a booth to sell. It's pretty fun because you never know what you're going to find. They have everything from homemade fudge to Coca Cola coolers from the 1950's to vintage clothing that looks like it came out of That 70's show. The store itself is divided into the pods where people set up their own theme. Whether it's french bakery style or Martha's Vineyard style cottage....there is a little of something for everyone....it's pretty fun to browse. 1429th review 6/28/2018 349th for 2018

This is my favorite antique mall in GA when hunting for props for still life photography. Whether it's the main objects in the scene or fabric remnants, I almost always come away with a little something at a reasonable price.

Hubs and I love to go antique shopping. Well... I love to go antique shopping lol! We usually go to the one by our house but we were in the area so I made him stop by ;) I'm into the neutral colors, farmhouse decor and farm decorations since I grew up on a farm. It takes me back home! Thankfully it's all in style so I had TONS to go through! Some booths were empty so I assume no one has rented them out right now. But some booths were stocked to the brim. Hubs says I have expensive taste and he may be right, but I looked at a lot of items and the lowest price I saw was $11 for a wooden cow figure. Not bad but I have a feeling there isn't a lot under $10 here. The bathroom was not bad at all. Pretty clean. There's a BBQ place inside at the back but unfortunately they were closed :( This shop is beautiful and we were greeted when we walked in. I wish it was closer to our house!

One of my favorite places! Such an eclectic mix of items. There are antiques, new products, home made goids, etc. My favorite booths are Rethunk Junk & Beyond the Mossy Tree. The staff is always wonderful & very helpful. I just can't go unless I have money to blow. I have yet to walk out of that place without buying something!

Incredible, massive antique and decor shopping. Too big for one visit! Can't wait to return.

They have an ok selection and the prices are fair. I had a sales person who was very personable…read moreuntil the paperwork was signed. Then, he did not remember who I was when I called the next day. Overall, I would give the shopping and buying experience 1.5 stars. Delivery was a nightmare. I was told I would receive an email two days before with an exact timeframe and EXPLICIT details. I did. And they were quite explicit. 11:30 AM to 2 PM. I even called to confirm everything. I was working from home that day and had scheduled clients up until 11 o'clock so that I could be to my office by 11:25. However, around 10 AM the delivery driver called me and told me he was there "waiting"(at my office). I was in the midst of a session with a client, but picked up the phone because I knew it would probably be my only chance to speaker the driver. He told me he was there and wanted to know why I wasn't there. He also wanted to know how quickly I could get there. I told him I was working and that I could possibly get there by 11:20 or more likely, 11:25. He was clearly frustrated with me, and heavily implied this mishap was my fault. He said that this would not work for him. I said there's nothing I can do and that I was told delivery would be between 11:30 and 2 pm AND that I planned my entire day around their guidelines. He again made it crystal clear that he was very frustrated with me, that he was upset. He told me to get there as fast as I could and hung up. I have never met a delivery person that was so rude. When I arrived, his work partner, who was sitting in the passenger seat, semi-apologized for the drivers attitude - but the driver could not have cared less. To add insult to injury, their delivery fee is $189. I paid $399 for the loveseat. Never expected the delivery fee to be so high. This is unheard of. It was for one small loveseat. Also about two days after I ordered the sofa, which wasn't going to be delivered for a week, I began getting harassing phone calls and emails wanting me to upgrade my purchase and get furniture protection. I told them no, but they just continued calling. And emailing. All in all - It was a horrible experience, except that I like the loveseat. I was treated with a complete lack of respect. The driver never apologized for his blatant disregard, and a frustration level that actually concerned me. Since this was being delivered to an office and there were plenty of people around, I felt relatively safe. However, had this occurred at my house, I would never have allowed him in. I asked for their names; the man sitting in the passenger seat gave me his name, but the driver completely ignored me and never responded. I will never shop at this store again. Once you sign your paperwork, you are no longer a human being, only a number and expected to act like such. I would give -10 stars if I had the option.

Very poor customer service and overall customer satisfaction. My experience with Georgia Furniture…read moreMart was extremely disappointing. The furniture quality is poor for the price. Some items appeared to be returned or duplicate versions of Ashley products, yet they were sold as original and new, which felt misleading and dishonest. Their insurance/warranty tie-up is also terrible. When problems came up, getting support was nearly impossible. What made things worse was the manager/management response -- when concerns about poor customer satisfaction were raised, management simply brushed them off by saying "that's your opinion" and made no real effort to fix the issues or offer proper solutions. There is no accountability, no follow-through, and no concern for customer satisfaction. Overall, poor quality furniture, poor service, and poor management. I would not recommend Georgia Furniture Mart to anyone.
