I am extremely disappointed with the store's return policy in returning a defective product. I purchased a rug that began falling apart almost immediately under normal household use. It shed fibers everywhere, and the fibers pulled out after routine vacuuming. I returned the rug within the stated return window and had my original receipt. After inspecting it, the store manager acknowledged that the rug appeared to be defective, yet I was still told that the store could not issue a refund. To make matters worse, this rug was extremely large and very heavy. I had to drag it into the store myself, and I was caught in the rain while bringing it inside. Instead of showing understanding, the manager complained that the rug was wet while I too was standing there dripping and explained it was raining outside. That interaction made an already frustrating experience even more disappointing. A customer who returns a defective product with a valid receipt, within the published return window, should not have to struggle physically to bring the item back only to be denied a refund after the defect is acknowledged. Standing behind defective merchandise is a basic part of good customer service. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in shopping here. I hope the company reevaluates its policy and gives store managers the authority to resolve situations involving defective products fairly. read more

When I'm getting ready to prepare for the holidays, this is my go to store. They have so much seasonal merchandise for anything you can think of. My favorite is Christmas. Tons of trees at all different price levels and styles, thousands of ornaments, tree skirts, decorations. They have excellent sales many times a year, and being part of the insider perks program is totally worth it. Any time of the year, you can come here and find great decor like pillows, pictures, rugs, furniture, and accessories. Very affordable and always a huge selection of every category. Large store stocked with everything you need for your home. Right now they have a variety of Christmas trees for decent prices. The store is HUGE so wear your walking shoes. The prices range from cheap to pricey but they have something for every budget. Customer service is lacking when you need help on the floor. Parking is free and it is a huge parking lot. read more

Honestly, I've driven by At Home on numerous occasions; so finally I decided to stop in to see what the fuss was about because the parking lot is busy especially on sunny weekends. My first in store experience was a good one and At Home is essentially a Home Depot for decor. Some of the shelving was empty but it's a large store and there was plenty of merchandise with a large selection. This would be a perfect place to buy all of the odds and ends for your AirBnb! At Home is hybrid store if you will; a cross between Pier One and Home Depot. I hope your experience here is a good one! read more

This place is huuuugggeeee and has pretty much everything you need and can think of for your home. I like that there's a ton of signage to help you find your way around the store and if you are looking for something in particular, just look up and the signs will guide you right where you need to be. I've only been to this location and the times I've gone, it's never been super busy but it's pretty hard to find someone that works there if you need help. They have everything from outdoor furniture, The items they carry are affordable and if they are out of something, you can probably find it at one of their other locations. This place reminds me of Home Depot with a mix of hobby lobby and Michaels. This would be a place you would shop at to fix up your house..the patio..and all the little special areas in your house. I used to love shopping here. The shopping experience was refreshing, organized with lots of options. It seems as though after the pandemic - the store has plummeted downhill. Customer service is the worst and the store itself looks like a dump. No organization, everything is everywhere and not in designated aisles. It is extremely sad to see how poor condition this store is. Today was my last attempt at stepping foot in the store. My goal was to try and take advantage of the post holiday sales. While at the register, one item of the four identical items that I wanted to purchase did not ring up according to the clearance price. I requested that it obviously be adjusted since it is clearly red labeled and red lined like the other identical items. The manager advised that if it rings up that way there isn't anything they can do about it and to go read the clearance sign. I've never heard of an absurd policy like this. Anyhow, I advised them to just cancel everything and took my money elsewhere. Good riddens to this location! read more

Holy crap! We just bought a home so this place was such a great find because we need quite a few things. A colleague mentioned them to me recently and she pulled out her phone to show me some dining chairs she was eyeing, which looked exactly like the kind I was eyeing, so I knew I had to stop by. I wasn't expecting it to be as ginormous as it was on the inside, a big, cavernous space filled to the max with decor for every floor, wall, ceiling and room. Hashtag overwhelmed. But, also, very excited! We browsed and browsed and had some good luck and bad luck. The thing is, I feel like it's hit or miss. They have great products, decor and competition, but I had a hard time figuring out the prices. Some items seemed very overpriced while others were a steal. Some of the furniture was nicked so you have to pay careful attention to what you're buying as the quality was also hit and miss. Basically, if you're willing to put in some work, you can reap great rewards. I did purchase a beautiful entry table that they had in two colors, white and green. I've been searching for something for weeks and my ideas started to bleed together because most things seem like they all look the same these days! It was a little more than I wanted to pay but I really, really loved it and that's a rare reaction for me so I went with it and I've yet to feel any regret. It's a beautiful piece. We also got some kitchen items and found a headboard we would've walked out with but there weren't anymore in stock. We browsed the wall decor for a while, a section that seemed to go on and on and on. I couldn't finish. My hungry belly was louder than my curiosity so I had to leave but even if that hadn't been the case, I was not prepared to browse for another hour. I had things to do! While at the store we signed up for their emails and received a 10% off coupon that ended up saving us $30! SCORE. No issues or complaints as far as customer service goes. Everyone was helpful and informative. We brought the table home and I played around with some ideas and I fell more in love with it. It's sturdy and fits my vision perfectly. I made another trek back to the store today to return a shower head I decided I didn't like (easy process) and to pick up a mirror I'd seen yesterday that I knew would fit *perfectly*. It all came together so wonderfully (see photo) and the mirror was a reasonable price. I didn't find any dining chairs I swooned over but they had a good selection. I'm personally trying to practice the habit of not buying anything unless I absolutely LOVE it. But I did find some funky, colorful arm chairs I'm interested in, something that's usually hard for me to find. I'm looking forward to hopefully uncovering some gems here in the future. read more

I've never shopped at an At Home store and a friend mentioned it and I went. First impression, loved it. Everything you need for your home was at this store. Purchased some items and to me they were reasonably priced and I came home happy. Next month I return for outdoor planters in particular. The planters were $109 but I liked them so I got two. I also purchased a vase for 64,99. When I got home and was ready to start planting I pulled the price sticker off and there was a much lower price of $79.99 for the $109 planter that I purchased. I had purchase two of them. I thought wow almost $30 more per item is a lot and why would they mark it up so high. I went to take a look at the vase that I purchased for $67 and underneath was a price sticker for $19.99!!!! At that point-no, never, absolutely not thinking about stepping foot in this store again. I returned the vase because after looking at it, it was only worth the $19.99 original price sticker anyway. When I returned it I mentioned the planter price difference and the clerk says well everything is going up it's the market. Well duh I know that but my goodness, $30 up per item. I also went to look at the same planter that I purchased and the same one was $99. I explained that to the clerk and she was like it's not the same one. How you going to tell me it's not the same and you don't have it in front of you to even determine if it was the same item? They are lucky I had already filled the planter with dirt and flowers. If not, they would have been returned. However, it puts a really bad taste in my mouth. Never have I been to a store where you do a freakin mark up!!! Didn't even have the decency to remove the lower price sticker. I went from spending $300 per month at this store to never returning. I will never think twice about coming to this rip off store. I need to find my recents and return everything that I haven't used back to this store bYou can't tell me that marking an item from $79.99 to $109 and blaming the current, abnormal market disruption isn't price gouging!! Umm, pretty much the definition of price gouging, right? Shame on you. Especially when the item probably isn't worth but $50 to begin with. On my way out a clerk heard me mention price gouging and she's like umm what happened. I explained and she's like I'll let my manager know. Okay let your manager know that y'all are price gouging and customers are aware of it. Not, oh okay I'm so sorry let me get your name and number and have a manager contact you. I have this crazy theme of meaning to stop by an establishment and passing it by for months, finally visiting and loving it. I was in the middle of renovating our new home and was looking for a lot of different types of home decor. When I walked in, I was instantly overwhelmed. I almost turned around and left, but I couldn't back down from the challenge. This place is huge. I spent almost 3 hours there and was impressed by the organization and the staging in each area. I left with several items that have held up well. This isn't a place you just run in and out of. Beware of pricing "at Home" they are raising their prices approximately 30% but a lot of their items have not had their price tags changed. Bought an item back that was priced at $19.99 but charged $29.99. One of their managers said they had not had time to change all price tags but he didn't offer to sell it to me at the mark price so I returned it. As I was about to leave another manager said she would sell the item at the marked price but I had all ready returned it, said I would go elsewhere to buy! read more

This place is a mess... they are completely overstocked in some areas, with several isles completely unnavigable because items are strewn all over the floor. Employees are not welcoming at all, and make no attempt to organize or clean up anything. I could only justify shopping here if the prices were dirt cheap, which they're not. read more

I purchase over $200 worth of merchandise here on my very first visit. I felt the prices were a little high but the selection is great. When we got home one of the bags of fragrance orbs I bought smelled bad. Hubby said they probably need to be aired out so I opened the bag. Bag didn't open clean so I keep it in the At home bag they give you at the store to carry out the items after you purchase. I ended up taking them back to the store because airing them out didn't help. The cashier there was a young black woman with curly blonde hair who gave me the stink eye for some reason. When I told her I needed to return the orbs because they smelled bad, she proceeded to tell me that she didn't know if she could return them because of the condition of the bag. Okay first of all you can't open the bag without destroying it because it's the type of plastic that falls apart when you open it. AND the tie on the top is a piece of tape that doesn't come off easily. Secondly the orbs smelled like they have gotten moisture in them and then mildewed. Not what I wanted since I use the orbs for decoration AND fragrance. Needless to say when miss attitude tried to give me a hard time, I wasn't happy and immediately decided to NEVER shop here again. She called her manager over who took the return and was nice about it despite the fact that she looked like she was headed out the door (hats off to her for that!). But the cashier had a very displeasing attitude which turned me away from shopping here again. I will take my money to Kirkland's instead. They are ALWAYS nice and welcoming and I have never had to return ANY of their merchandise.....EVER. thanks for letting me know At Home how much you think of my business. read more

At home is a store full of lots and lots of stuff. Yes, I said LOTS and LOTS! You would have to spend the entire day here to check out all of the merchandise. This former Garden Ridge really hasn't changed much. The layout is exactly the same. I find the prices to be on the higher side compared to other similar stores. I also find it quite overwhelming. If you are looking for a particular item that you would normally find in this type of store. you'll be fine. If you are looking to browse, you'll be overwhelmed and may leave with nothing. My advise... have a plan when shopping here. read more

The cashier curtly told me that they would only be giving me the after Christmas 50% off price on the merchandise that I paid full price for. I questioned her and left very frustrated. A fierce debate took place between my fiance and me at Garden Ridge today. While I longed to purchase the hummingbird-themed deck furniture set, he remained adamant about its over-femininity. He has taken a great interest in gender-neutral decor as of late. Thus, we agreed on a green three-piece set with lattice-like detail. The iron table and chairs cost a mere $99 - a better price than anything used I've found on Craigslist. He also demanded that we buy something more comfortable for our guests, so we selected two tan chairs and a matching rocker. We fully tested their cushiness in the store; the chairs cost only $15! The greatest scene was made in the parking lot, when we spent at least 45 minutes maneuvering our merchandise into his Honda Civic. At one point a car stopped a couple lanes over so the driver and his girlfriend could stare at us. Finally, with the seats lowered and one headrest removed, we were able to shut the doors... and ride home in uncomfortable smooshed positions. But it was worth it! I ate dinner on the deck tonight. read more

I call it the "upgraded" IKEA (I hate IKEA lol). I've bought some beautiful items from here. However, ladies do not go alone needing assistance with loading your items into your vehicle, I'm not sure if they're not really suppose to assist due to policy or what. But when I needed assistance once the manager wasn't too helpful and I basically did it all myself. He's a nice guy though and so is Earl! He's extra helpful!!! I'M BACK! It is so ironic that my previous review was last spring addressing the same issue: my search for a large garden planter. I am so sure that I can find what I want at this store, (due to their awesome selection), that I came back again this year. I am in the process of changing out the landscape. Sometimes you just get bored or you feel a need to just freshen things up. Well, it is time to "gut" the garden! Can't wait to demo everything! A few years ago, I placed a really tall planter in my yard and just allowed plants to cascade over the top. I received many compliments and just fell in love with the look because it just elevated the space. The particular planter did not last very long in the elements so I have been looking for something more substantial. This store has some of the most beautiful planters available in varied materials, patterns and heights. They had the perfect planter but it was not the right color. Since it is still very early, I will be checking back and I'm hopeful that I will find exactly what I need. The store has really changed since my last visit. They have done a great job of staging various departments to showcase their inventory. It is in full swing with new spring decor in various departments such as patio and garden. The have a great selection of items for the home and garden with very reasonable prices. Their wrought iron pieces are carried each year so that you can always replace or update when you need to do so. Today I selected a small table to compliment pieces that I already own. We didn't have much time to browse in depth but they had a lot of vases, rugs, chairs, paintings, decorative pillows, etc. I'm definitely coming back when I know more of what I'm looking for because I love how big their selection is. read more

My wife and i love this store. Selection is fantastic, prices are great and service is great too. We bought two bar stools from here couple of months ago which we never used since our house was going through renovations. We found that they did not fit where we wanted to put them, so my wife brought them back today and even though it was past the deadline to be returned, the manager did it with a smile. I purchased two bathroom organizers a few months ago and just now getting around to open the box and assembly it and find out that a key piece is missing. I see there are terrible instructions and do not have a support line to order additional parts. I then called the store manager and told her that it is apparently the store's fault to put a defective product back on the shelf for a customer to purchase it and now I am stuck with a defective item and they do not have the same one in store that I need to replace it. I was told all the store can do is give me store credit which means I will not get my original amount of $30 back because the product is now $15 also I would have to spend more cash elsewhere to find a product that will now be mix-matched to my other organizer. I am highly upset and if this issue is not resolved I will never shop here again read more

Ever been to Old Time Pottery or the Christmas Tree Shop? Garden Ridge is very similar, except that it's a tad more expensive, but not much. If you haven't been to any of these, what you should expect is a huge store that has an eclectic mix of home decor items. Don't expect HomeGoods or TJ Maxx-- we're not talking designer brands, but you can definitely find some cheap items for the home, such as holiday decorations, candles, wicker baskets, rugs, platters, glasses, or paintings/prints. They also have a large selection of nice kitchen table chairs and some furniture. So if you want to decorate on the cheap, this is a great place to start! read more
