And Leslie more than accomplished that mission--she set the standard for how it should be done. We got married at a venue that spanned a large property in the middle of the High Desert, and the temperature at the time Leslie started couldn't have been cooler than 90 degrees. She managed to capture all of the special moments that preceded the actual ceremony, including brides' prep, first look, and both bridal parties. She then hustled down for the ceremony, and then managed to wrangle all of us afterward for photos during the "golden hour" against the breathtaking backdrop of beautiful Joshua trees and prehistoric rock formations. Somehow, she still had energy to work the cocktail hour, dinner and speeches, and then the most insane reception, which included dancing, a pinata, and a mariachi band. Most of my wedding day is a complete blur to me, which is why I am so incredibly grateful to have Leslie's photos to remind me of what an amazing and special day it was.
