Great Customer Service!!! In June of 2022 I purchased an L shaped sofa and matching armless chair. Unfortunately the seams did not hold and ripped, causing surrounding material to shred. I filed a claim using the manufacturer's warranty with the Ashley Service Team. I had an immediate response, submitted photos and was given a full refund as a credit to pick out a new sofa and chair. We have always had fast, courteous, and friendly service whenever we've been to Ashley. We ordered a bunch of furniture about three years ago and had no problem at all with delivery or set up or anything. And the furniture came in perfect we just went yesterday and we needed a mattress and the gentleman worked with us for about two hours figuring out what we wanted, how much we wanted to spend and we ended up leaving with three pillows that we had been looking for, but didn't know we wanted if you know what I mean. LOL! He is even keeping a wishlist for us for things I want to get in the future, but did not want to get today. We were very very happy with the overall experience and what I like about their sales people is it it's not a hard Cell they want to know what you need and they try to accommodate you!! we met the manager and he was super nice and informative about a lot of things. Avoid this place they will lie to your face to get the sale. In January I ordered a couch and love seat from this location. I explained to the sales rep that I was on a tight schedule with work and had already ordered furniture from another store but it wouldn't be delivered in time. The Ashely's sales rep made it clear if I cancelled my order with the other furniture store and ordered today through them he could guarantee me a delivery date that worked with my schedule. Come to find out he was totally wrong and lied to me in order to complete the sale. They can't get anywhere close to the delivery date I was promised and I should have just stuck with my original order and never wasted my time with them. I call the corporate office and explain the situation to them and they tell me "unfortunately this isn't the first call we've gotten about this issue from this location".... how is this not fixed if it's that normal. They get you locked into a date and try to hold you hostage no matter what smoke they try to blow up your ass Went into the location, they do nothing to make it right for the massive waste of time this whole thing has been. Bought a mattress from there and when it arrived it was not the same mattress. It was hard and stiff and when I called the store to get the right mattress they told me They did send the right mattress and does not do exchanges or returns on clearance items. Would never had bought the mattress if I had known this was not returnable if not the right mattress. Cannot communicate directly with the local store unless you press "3" to schedule an appointment for a showing of furniture. All other options send you to customer service at their corporate office. Salesperson would not return our texts or calls. Furniture was mismatched and missing one whole piece of the sectional! Another two weeks to get the missing piece delivered even though it is sitting on the truck. Ashley will not deliver until their delivery truck is "full." I will never do business with Ashley again, and I wish I would've seen all the bad reviews before we bought from them. We bought a dining table and chairs (didn't finance) 2 months ago and have yet to receive all the proper hardware to use it. So I paid full price for a table I still can't use. We also have a bed we can't use because the footboard was broken in half, then when the 2nd one got delivered had no hardware, which was a month ago and I can't get an answer or return either. I spent hours on the phone with corporate and 1 lady at corporate even called me a liar because she couldn't find any notes. She eventually found the notes and didn't apologize. I've also gone into the store multiple times and had the "manager" look me square in the eye (2 days ago) when I told him what had been going on (this was after the store had multiple times blamed warehouse, corporate, etc) and told me not to worry because he'd take care of us. Literally 2 seconds later he didn't want to actually deal with us and told us to come back the next day because Gabriella was the only one who could take care of us. Of course we show up the next day for Gabriella to be surprised since she's a lower level employee that can't actually do anything for us. She tells us to come back a 3rd day in a row because the regional "back office manager" will be in town and is the only actual person who can do anything. This lady took no time to try and hear our issues, but finally now we get to return the bed and she couldn't care less than we've had a table for 2 months that we still can't use and said there's absolutely no credit or discount they'll do for us. I bought 8200.00 worth of furniture, and asked the saleslady if they took ebates rewards she said no, upon an online check after I left I found out that they do,it would have saved me 2% which would be about 164.00., but the kicker is that if she had of told me the truth it would have affected her commission, something is just not right about this picture. Then I also found out that the exact same items I purchased could have been bought for several hundred dollars less, online from the same store to say the least I was upset. I tried to call the saleslady or the manager, but neither responded the first day I called and left a message, I called back the second day and the lady called me,I expained what I found out that had happened and she said there was nothing that she could do.. I wanted to cancel the order and she said it would cost me 10% because i had signed an agreement saying so. I also found out that the full size temperpudic mattress that I had originally wanted and she said it was unavailable, was online. Also, I found out that the warrenty that she sold me that was supposed to provide one cleaning per year, for 5 years does not, and it is voided if you move, which I was planning on doing immediately. I want them to cancel the entire order and not charge me the 10%, it is not scheduled to leave the warehouse until Nov 1, 2019, and I started trying to cancel immediately after making the purchase, 10-10-19. I found out that they have many many unsatisfied customers, many of which are in a class action law suit with the company. I do not feel it is lawful to charge me more than i can get it online for at the same store, and I am not happy that the full size mattress can be purchased online but not in the store, And I am not happy with the warrenty since I found out more about it, and the fact that it will not do what she said it would do. It was 349.00 and the other one was 199.00 for the mattress base. and I am certainly not happy that all of the items that I purchased could be bought cheaper online that I was charged for them, not to even mention the fact that delivery online is Free and I was charged 69.00.. I had no idea I was going to run into all this extra information after I had made the purchase. I feel had. I am on the hook for the entire 8200.00 + , and I paid 1685.00 down, if I cancel they want to charge me 10% which will be 820.00 for only a few minutes of their time to enter the information, as nothing has been shipped yet. I do not feel that this is right, especially given the circumstances. The sales lady made a point to tell me about her faith and that of the company as well, then I encounter all of this very frustrating information. It destroys any good that they thought they were doing. And their credibility is tarnished, not to mention all the extremely negative repsponses I found from other customers. Their track record is horrible. I have reported this to the FTC and the BBB, Todd Wanek CEO Ashley Furniture ,and intend to leave reviews anywhere they are accepted. This store is the worst. Don't shop here. Bad customer service and low quality furniture. We purchased a bedroom suite. It took over 9 months to get it. No communication from the store during this time. Received it in multiple shipments. When it arrived it was damaged and turned out not to be real wood but basically particle board. Replacement parts took another 3 months. Then the frame of the bed broke. The store said it was our fault. We are not big people. We both say on the edge of the bed and it came apart. After arguing with the store for 2 more months and sleeping with the bed on the floor, we ended up paying for the bed rails. The store received the part and did not even contact us. read more

I purchased two bedroom suits one was damaged at the warehouse and did not get delivered, and the other bedroom suit had the wrong slats for the bed. That took me three months With contacting customer service and store trying to get the correct slats for my bed and after three months finally got it fixed today. So no more mattress on the floor. Does anyone know if I can sue Ashley Furniture in bowling green? I am FED UP. First, i placed my order in September 2020. My items arrived damaged almost a year later about 8-9 months. I still have not received all my items. the bed rails they sent me fit the bed, but aren't even the right ones they don't go flush with the head and foot board. They have brought new ones 2 times and they still weren't right. They were supposed to send me new drawers because they were supposed to be silver, they came a champagne color. Still haven't gotten them. I asked for touch up paint for the drawers because The drawers on the dresser don't even close all the way because they rub on each other and make the paint chip. (it was made horribly) when I placed my order they also offered me a $300 gift card for financing through the company I finance through, still haven't gotten that. I have talked to corporate office they have sent in tasks for them to call me back, no call backs. I have been to the store multiple times and they tell me "sorry there is nothing we can do". When I call corporate they tell me that my local store is supposed to take care of it. But they haven't. It is oct. 3 2021 and I still haven't gotten everyone I ordered or my gift card. Someone help. I will not be purchasing furniture from Ashley Furniture again. When our furniture was delivered there were issues with several of the items. I called and made arrangements for the pieces to be reordered and delivered. When I call customer service they give me a different delivery date every time I call; 4 at this point. Edited 1/2/20 Ashley reached out to us twice since I wrote this. There is nothing they can do. Once furniture is delivered and the truck leaves your driveway, it's yours. Not all businesses have this policy so check beforehand. Changing my rating to 3 stars because if we loved our purchase, the rating would be 5 stars. Side note... reclining furniture isn't for everyone & that's OK! Extremely disappointed. We found the couch we wanted and had her do a bit of research to help with our buying process. She explained the delivery in detail and all the subsequent paperwork. We purchased a reclining sofa and love seat from Ashley's. We have had nothing but trouble out of this furniture. It has broken several times, and the love seat is broken right now. Don't buy furniture from this company. We paid 349.00 for a five year repair warranty on the furniture. We have had it 1.5 years. I called yesterday about getting it repaired yet again, and I was informed that my warranty had expired. The customer service at Ashley stinks too. I'm going to have to take my warranty card, that states that my warranty is good for four more years, into the store, so I can get again get repairs done on this horrible furniture. A manager from Arkansas was there tonight , I think his name is Allen. He was so helpful and kind. He made me feel as though I was actually a valued customer. Hands down THE worst furniture buying experience EVER! Sales staff was about the only pleasant part of the experience. After the sale it quickly went downhill fast! Ordered on April 28th, delivery scheduled on May 8th. Delivery guys show up and open truck and it is haphazardly crammed full of furniture, everything unboxed. Recliner comes inside house, arm is ripped. Loveseat has scratch across arm. Sofa dented in and scratched on the back. Well no wonder...considering the way that truck was packed like a damn Tetris puzzle. Dining room table comes in, gouged across top and missing half the hardware to put together. One of the leaves missing too and delivery guy actually tries to tell me this table only has one leaf not two. Uh, no! I have a pic of what we bought. There is two. Then the barstools come in, screws missing to stretchers so they literally spin and will eventually cause chair to break without the screws to hold it together. Lovely! And they rock so bad on the floor so if you sit on them they rock side to side. Delivery guy actually tells us we can take em apart and reassemble ourselves to fix em or to go buy an area rug to put under table and that will make them stop rocking. Are you friggin kidding me? Finally they agree to take some of the damaged furniture back but say they don't have space to take it all as they have more deliveries to do and that their customer service team will call in 24-48 hours to help fix the situation. Ya, that never happened! After waiting 5 days, I called the Customer Care team myself and was met by a very rude woman on the phone who said my only option was to switch out the damaged items and there are now no returns after the sale. I was like, "how the hell can you force me to keep damaged furniture?" None of it made sense. Also was irritating that no one ever reached out to us considering the complete cluster the delivery was and the fact we were forced to pay for their "white glove delivery" (what a joke!) After the less than stellar phone call with their 800 number I then called the Ashley Store in Bowling Green. Spoke to Verlinda. Sent pictures of everything via email. Was assured everything would be sent and exchanged. Finally got text that items would be delivered today. Went online and tracked and only two of the items are being delivered today. The table and the recliner. Seriously? Still waiting for couches and barstools. Honestly would love nothing more than to return it all and take my business elsewhere. I bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress and ergo base which totaled around 7000 dollars. It was pretty pushy from the beginning, which is understandable. But so many things were glossed over and forced, including the 10 percent down. So I paid 700 dollars and got the delivery scheduled. Delivery day comes, and my base arrives, but not my mattress. It was backordered and I was never told. Irritating, especially since my base got a tear in it, but whatever. It's fine. We eventually get it. My issue comes that I've had the mattress for a couple of weeks and have yet to sleep more than 2 nights on it. It kills my neck and back. It's straining my relationship because I have to keep going to the couch. My boyfriend called inquiring about returns, and we were told they don't accept any at all. I clearly misunderstood, and I understand that's my fault, but I assumed they upheld Tempur-Pedic a policy on their beds of a 90 night policy in order to compete with big name brands. I emailed Tempur-Pedic about this issue, which if I bought through them, they would accept returns. They said I had to talk to Ashley. I emailed their help email, they said I had to talk to my HomeStore. Well, earlier when we called they said they couldn't do anything. All I've been trying to do is figure out some solution. I hate that I bought a 7000 dollar mattress and base that I'll never use. I don't care if they keep my 700 dollars for their commission, or a restocking fee or anything. We came in on a Saturday browsing for some living room furniture, and we were immediately approached by a VERY PUSHY sales lady (named Sheree I believe). I say very pushy because despite saying we just wanted to browse, she continued to follow us around the store like we were just a commission to be had. She was not personable, never even to bother asking what we were actually looking for, even interrupted our shopping to bring over a mattress expert even though we were not at all interested in purchasing a mattress. Overall she was obviously more interested in the commission check from our potential purchase than she was in treating us like actual human beings. She made the entire encounter awkward and upsetting for us. However, because we did find a good couch on clearance I decided to leave and come back later in hopes she would be gone. Thankfully we didn't run in to her when we came back. HOWEVER, they told me they do not offer delivery which is something I found odd. So when we came in to come pick up our furniture with our truck the next day, Sheree was there again and made us uncomfortable once again and was even talking about how she was gonna make the salesmen split the sale with her because we were "hers".... I would give this store ZERO stars if I could. Almost every employee I encountered at this store was so rude, could not care less about me or my time, and because of that I will never be back to this store. After I picked up my couch, we were told to wait a few days for our new recliner to come in. I never heard from the store, so six days later I called myself to ask what had happened. I was rudely told that "she was getting around to calling me" and it turned out that my chair had been delivered damaged and was sent back to the Nashville warehouse. I was then told I would have to wait another week for them to send a new chair from Nashville (which is only an hour away). So I wait another week, and I once again have to call the store myself because I heard absolutely nothing from them. This time they tell me that my chair is in, but it came fully assembled. My supposedly brand new chair came fully assembled because the salesperson "entered the wrong code" and it was sent to the store to be a floor sample... So at this point, I'm at my WITS END with these people so we go to the store and have to wait at the counter for like five minutes and then we're told to go around back and pick up the chair. I should've just told them to keep the chair because it was OBVIOUSLY not a new chair, it had a piece hanging off and a big stain on the back. Against my better judgement, I let them load up this chair and we leave and after talking to the manager on the phone afterwards I'm told they're going to be sending me a new chair delivered to my house for free. We also realized when we got home that they didn't give us the power cord either so it currently can't be reclined. When I called the store again, I was rudely told that the manager was in a conference and that I could leave a message. I literally cannot believe I had a buying experience that was this terrible. To top it all off the power furniture began to malfunction less than 10 months after I purchased it, and it was completely unusable. Once again, this store has no interest in helping anyone who isn't writing them a check. You will get ripped off if you shop here, end of story. EDIT: My furniture was repaired since thankfully it was in the 1-year warranty period, but it took multiple service visits and HOURS of my time on the phone and in person with Customer Care and the service techs (who were contracted 3rd party). read more

I placed an order for a sectional couch on July 22nd and almost 6 months later all I have received was the ottoman and chase. Every time the delivery date approaches, I hear nothing from Ashley Furniture home store, so I CONTACT THEM and they inform me that the delivery is pushed out again. On top of that, because I received a partial order, I am now being billed for a full couch and protection plan that I have not received and I still do not have confidence that I will receive it. Whenever I try to call customer service they put me on hold for at least 30 minutes and either hang up on me or give me hope for a new delivery date. Before the customer service rep hung up on me today, I was promised a delivery date of December 3rd, but I feel they just tell me anything to get off the phone. That is the 5th estimated delivery date I have received to date. I understand that COVID has impacted us all, but Ashely Furniture Home Store in Bowling Green sold me an item when they obviously had no inventory and that item is now on sale for $400 less than what I purchased it for (they will not honor the new price unless I cancel and re-order). This is the worst furniture buying and delivery experience of my life. We have bought from Ashley before but not in Bowling Green, KY. We had a pleasant experience the first time but this entire experience has been extremely frustrating and unnecessarily unpleasant. We placed our order for a Blinton TV stand, piers, bridge and hardware on 8/24/18. We were told that our order would be delivered on 9/11/18. The first time that delivery was attempted, we were at home, yet the delivery team argued with me that we weren't here to receive. We rescheduled the delivery for 9/14/18 at which time, only two of the three pieces were delivered. We did receive the third piece within a week, but the bridge is not assembled and one of the piers has scratches. Also, the hardware is missing to assemble the bridge and the shelves on the piers. I have taken pictures of the mess that is now my living room. Every time, the delivery teams place blame on the previous delivery team for not assembling the bridge to the piers. The delivery team is supposed to come back today between 7:15 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. I'm more than skeptical that they will want assemble these pieces at that late hour...if they even show up. Kim at the Bowling Green store has been phenomenal in attempting to help us. At this point, I would rather have them come pick this unit up and take it back to their warehouse. The delivery drivers was told they was delivering the wrong piece of furniture they Refused to put it back on the truck when I asked them about calling they said that they would not call that someone would call me. I immediately called the Bowling Green store it said that it was closed during normal business hours the manager later told us that they never answer their phone they don't have anyone to answer their phone, I called the corporate office and was given the runaround and was told it was in my home I finally got aggravated and said you need to get the piece that you delivered wrong do not deliver the correct piece pick up the other piece do a complete return and refund our down payment. I was told this would be done that it had to be done in store but they sent emails telling them to do this. The manager in the Bowling Green store is refusing to do this and whoever he calls is saying no we're not gonna do this after I have been told by people at corporate that this will be done and that they was told to do this. We have been treated to dishonesty and unethical business practices by Ashley furniture store. They have rendered my living room and usable because their stuff is sitting in my living room and they will not come get it. Buyer beware! Purchased $2200 worth of furniture on 5-13-20. Delivery could not be made until 6-30 due to Covid-19 - I agreed to that. On 6-26 I receive a text from Ashley Delivery staying items I paid for 6 weeks ago are unable to be delivered until August - not OK with that. Returned to Bowling Green store to cancel order and get a refund. Was told by staff there is no one in that store that can authorize a refund - I had to call the corporate customer service number for assistance. Then he laughed and said " you will never get your money back". Ashley's corporate customer service does not answer the phone or return emails. After this mess I discovered a Facebook page called Ashley HomeStore Customer Service Complaints - there are over 3 thousand people active on that page trying to get their money back for furniture that was never delivered. There were other Ashley Corporate numbers and emails listed on that page - but so far no one has returned my calls or emails. My advice - just avoid Ashley in BG or anywhere for that matter. Go across the street to Ford's Furniture - you might pay a little more but they will deliver what you bought the very next day! read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY HOMESTORE !!!!!!! i really did try to make this a good experience but honestly i feel like this company didn't really care. it started with me looking for a big sectional and i called the bowling green, ky store and made an appt. my salesman was very professional and made me feel like he was trying his very best to find what i was looking for so i really appreciate him. i wasnt even upset when i got home and realized a piece of the sectional wasn't on my order and i had to call and add it on the order. delivery was set for the next week and i was sooooo excited. i had frustrations with another furniture company saying this exact same couch wouldnt be delivered until after January 2021 so waiting one week was amazing. the morning of delivery i received a confirmation text that my couch would be delivered during the window they gave me. it also confirmed every piece i ordered was in the truck. as they filed the pieces in i realized 2 of the biggest pieces of sectional were not there and the delivery persons said they were on back order. no one ever contacted me with this information. i called customer service shortly after and they could see that my order looked like it had been fulfilled but it indeed was not and they could not give me any information on the missing pieces until the next day. i called customer service the next day and she confirmed the pieces would be delayed and delivered in one week. i asked why no one called to inform me and why the confirmation order i received said i would be getting my full couch (who delivers half a couch!!!!!) i would have delayed my order until all pieces could be delivered. the customer service rep proceeded to say "you should have called the 1800 number to verify" which no one ever told me to do that. she was not so polite in implying this was all my fault. frustated with half a couch i call my local store in bowling green,ky to give them an opportunity to say "im sorry what can we do to make our experience better". i talked with the store manager and he referred my information to the customer relation employee ( over a week ago) who has not contacted me and i seriously doubt they will. would i recommend ashley furniture? NO! it was a rollercoaster of frustration and communication issues are just the beginning. to be told it was my fault i only got half a couch with confirmation in my hand that my entire purchase was on the truck was the cherry on top. also one piece of the couch was delievered damage and after emailing them 11-4-20 with photos, i had to call with an update yesterday 11-16-20 with them saying they never received the photos. so i had to start that process all over. i honestly feel like after that credit card is swiped they dont care what the customer goes through. it was not pleasant. save yourself the trouble and go somewhere with good reviews. i see now i should have checked them before i made this purchase. the reviews are legit!!!! read more

My husband and I bought a sectional at the BG location and had what we thought was a good experience. When the $6000+ sectional was delivered, the wedge had a scratch and the sofa portion was delivered without the power cord and on further inspection was determined to be USED! It had food crumbs in the creases of the couch and the cup holders had water marks and scratches in the them. The delivery drivers (3rd party service) were even disgusted by it and said they would have to exchange both pieces out. When I called the store to complain, the Assistant Manager Matt was very rude to me and said there wasn't anything he could do and he wasn't the one who delivered it. We went back and forth and he hung up on me. The manager was off until Friday and I went into the store on Friday. When I went into the store, the manager Sean was very apologetic and told me he would help with getting it exchanged and apologized for Matt's behavior on the phone. He also told me he was going to submit for a 10% refund for the trouble and he would let me know the status on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went with no word from Sean. I called and left messages for him and he never returned my calls. On the following Saturday we went back into the store and asked to speak with him. He had us come into his office and asked what we needed. I told him our replacement furniture was now on back order and I wanted to know the status of the 10% refund. He replied that the replacement furniture is out of his hands once the order is placed, he can't do anything about it. As far as the refund, he doesn't have time to check on it he is too busy. He has too much going on and we can come back on Tuesday if we want. I explained that we are beyond frustrated and I need him to handle this now. He said he is busy and doesn't have time for any of this. I said at this point I am ready to cancel the charge on my credit card and he can just pick up his furniture. He said go ahead. I asked for his managers name and number and he refused to give it to me. My husband said he has really bad customer service and he told us it was now time to leave his store we were not welcome there anymore. On the way out of the store, I told 3 customers that we bought a new sectional and they delivered a used sectional to us. Sean ran from the back of the store and told me to come back in he was calling the police on me, not to leave. Then he changed and said leave right now and if you ever set foot in this store again I will have you arrested for trespassing. The next day, I filed a BBB complaint and Melanie from their corporate called me. She said that Sean never put in for a 10% refund but she would do it right then. She also got our replacement furniture delivered the next week. My advice- stay away from the BG location. read more

Been sleeping without beds in our new house but was fine with it because our salesman reassured us that our furniture would arrive as scheduled. Now they text and say its gonna be another week. I would have went somewhere else and been sleeping in a bed already had I known this. So when they tell you a date, dont believe it and if you need it reasonably fast just go somewhere else and buy it!... Wouldnt have thought too much about it but I did ask several times, "are you sure my furniture will come on that date" and the answer was yes every time. So we shall see if it comes in another week....I cant cancel or they are going to charge me $783 to cancel which is 10%.. read more
