Horrible experience..broken furniture, inflexible delivery (and since I'm not Canadian, Ashley Furniture Corp requires that I pay to have the stuff sent to my home.) Delivery was delayed and then I was delivered a broken drawer in a brand new chest of drawers. The A+ BBB rating is disturbing and I wrote them about this. If you open the background there are majority negative experiences, but because of the size of the company, those few of us willing to spend our time talking epeatedly and emailing about Ashley furniture, I guess they get to keep that A+ rating. It's very clearly not about customer satisfaction..Run..run..there are companies that are way more deserving of your hard earned $$. read more

Mr Moss is very knowable of Ashley's products and makes buying a new bed a very comfortable and informative experince. He will take the time to have you try out all options available. I didn't have alot of money to spend, but that didn't stop him from giving me an enjoyable informative experience. Now I just need to kick back and wait for my new bed to be delivered. Went to by a bed from them on Oct. 15. Bought a $1400 queen sized mattress, box spring and frame. Scheduled delivery for Nov. 1. November 1st comes and the delivery guys bring a queen sized mattress and frame but only have a long twin box spring. I refuse delivery. Talk to Customer Care while delivery guys still there. They apologize for the mistake and offer to remove delivery charge to make up for the mistake. I have to wait 2 days to contact the store to get the order corrected and reshipped. When I call they tell me that the mistake has been corrected and that I am rescheduled for delivery on Nov. 7th. That brings us to today. No delivery, not even scheduled. Call the store, nothing they can do and next delivery is the 15th. Also come to find out that they didn't refund the delivery charge as originally promised. Do not shop with this company. Bought a leather recliner love seat. We were debating on the extended warranty. Sales lady told us we did not need to decide that day that we had 30 days after delivery to add it on. Called 8 days after it was delivered which took over a month to receive and was told no we had to call within 5 days of delivery. Does not say that anywhere on any paperwork we have. UPDATE: If I could give negative numbers it would be -5. A HUGE NEGATIVE 5!!!! Soooooo we decided to stick it out and just wait for them to redeliver. Of course they would call US to tell US when they will stop by next. There was no way to try and schedule a drop off time. Low and behold two days out from the drop off date my husband gets a text that they will be stopping by between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. My daughter has preschool drop off at that time, my husband has a client meeting in Seattle (this is the job that will be paying for the chair), and I am 36 weeks pregnant with a high risk pregnancy and doctors appointments that have been scheduled MONTHS in advance that I can't miss or reschedule. So we call their so called customer care center and shocking, "there is nothing they can do". Apparently, nobody over there has any ability to do anything to make any changes to the schedule. I can only assume that the schedule just magically appears and everyone mindlessly follows it. So my husband has to cancel his meeting (client not happy) and rearrange his morning schedule so that he can sit and and wait for them to show up. At 11:15 am while I'm at the doctors I get a voice mail, because I turned my ringer off (why they didn't call my husband who has been sitting at home, and whom they originally texted with the scheduled drop off time to begin with, I don't know) saying they have somehow lost our chair and they will have to special order it so it's not on their delivery truck today and we will have to wait at least another week before they can "attempt" to deliver it again.........I can feel my blood pressure rising as I write this.....*deep breath*......So, I decide it's probably best if I have my husband call them because I can't guarantee that I won't go all pregnancy hormone psycho on them.....no one should have to deal with that.....anyway, he calls and SHOCKING, "there is nothing they can do" (I wonder if they ever get tired of saying that?). After getting nowhere with the person on the other end of the line and realizing the pointlessness of talking to a mindless drone he decided to just cancel the order and asked for a refund on the chair and the delivery charge. They said it would take 3-7 business days before a credit could be issued......Apparently they can't even give you your money back in a timely fashion.....We really needed this chair for the baby that is coming in a few weeks but they do not deserve our hard earned money or business. They where "very sorry for the inconvenience". No, I don't believe that...if they were sorry they would have figured out a way to fix it. It's called customer service, they should look it up in a dictionary, or at least google it because I assume they have internet access. If you have a choice between buying something from Ashley Furniture and somewhere else......run screaming to the other place because all you will do with Ashley Furniture is scream and bang your head into a wall. Bought a mattress with motorized headboard and sectional. Nancy our sales person was nice. The Sealy mattress is great so far. The motorized headboard is very cheap and LOUD compared to the store models. I wrote this on the receipt. $550. I could have made it for $75.00 they probably got it from China for $7.50. The day we got it I went in to ask to upgrade, still haven't heard a word. Sectional is very cheaply made. I wouldn't go back to buy anything. You might have better luck at a local family owned business or maybe Macys or other retailers. Ashely's is overpriced junk with poor customer service. Forgot to mention the cheaply made expensive mattress pad zipper didn't work. I took it in the same day. A week latter we are told it will be another 10 days to get a replacement cover in. read more

Worst furniture to purchase from. Very shady with first time buyers who have little credit. Do not go through with any long term payment plans. My boyfriend and I purchased a mattress and did financing through Acceptance Now. Worst decision we've made. We ended up paying almost 4 times the actual cost of mattress. We also had to warranty our mattress 2 times within 2 years. The quality is not there. The delivery service is beyond bullshit. I moved a little over a year ago and had informed them of my change of address. Taking time off during the middle of the week is not easy. My warranty mattress was supposed to be delivered today but I got a phone call saying they took it to my old address!! On top of that I would have to wait until they call me to reschedule... How can a company so disorganized.... Do not recommend to anyone. read more

Mattress buyers beware. We bought a King size Ashley memory foam mattress and even though it was suggested that if we didn't like it Ashley would work with us. Well after two weeks of uncomfort we called to request an exchange and was told rudely by the customer care rep that the Ahley mattress is not eligible for any returns or exchanges. It's a sad display of guest service considering we oufitted our entire bedroom with them ($6K+) and until now was going to do the same with our new house living room. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Please, please, PUUUHHLEASE listen to me when I tell you to stay away from Ashley Furniture Store. I have to tell my story of what happened to me and my family recently while shopping there. We started by purchasing the ONLY all real leather sectional in their store. The sales person helping us (Darnell) told us the configuration for the sectional could be reversed because the one on the floor was opposite of what we needed for our living room. So anyway, a couple days go by and my husband just keeps telling me that he thinks the guy was wrong and didn't order it right because when he looked up the sectional online the item #s on our invoice were exactly the same as the ones on the website for the sectional that would not fit our living room. My husband called twice and Darnell assured him that it was correct and made it a point to get smart with him and tell him that he knows what he's doing, he's been doing it for 20 years. My husband was a little annoyed but just brushed it off. So the next day, he finally decides that he knows that it's not right and calls Darnell one more time. Darnell tells him that he'll call him back. He was short and rude with him. An hour goes by and Darnell doesn't call back but does send him a text message telling him that he was wrong and that the sectional we wanted doesn't come in any other configuration. SERIOUSLY!!! That is what we've been telling you for days. So obviously he didn't know what he was doing, or he did and thought that he could make a sale and stick us with something that wouldn't work in our home anyway. It's obvious from the other reviews that trying to return something or get them back out at your house is pretty much impossible. So we tell him to cancel it and that we would come back in to see if there was something similar. Well, the next day guess who shows up at my door? Ashley furniture trying to deliver the sectional that we cancelled. I didn't accept it and we went to the store as soon as my husband and kids got home that day. Upon walking in the store we go straight to the front desk and ask for the manager. Both the manager and the assistant manager were sitting in the office with the door open, looking right at us, knowing exactly who we were and why we were there but didn't come out to help us. Instead, Darnell walks up behind us and starts trying to talk to my husband and my husband simply told him that he was done with him and he wanted to talk to the manager. He also thanked him for his text message and for not calling him back. What happened next was something I've never witnessed or had happen to me ever! Darnell just goes off on my husband and starts getting all ghetto telling him, "Man I'm just gonna walk away because obviously you don't who I am." He continues to make his ghetto unprofessional threats and FINALLY, the manager walks out. She and her assistant manager sat in the office and watched this happen...and did NOTHING! This all happened right in front of my children too. They walked out and acted like nothing crazy just happened. The manager was like, "I'm sorry guys, I can't believe Darnell did that." The two did try to help us find something similar but everything else on the floor was fake leather, or only partial real leather. It just blew my mind that the sales rep acted like that with us in front of everyone in the store and nothing happened to him. If I was his boss he would've been fired on the spot. He wasn't even reprimanded or told to leave the floor. They acted like he did nothing wrong. After this experience we decided to move on and not purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. The next day we went to Macy's Home Store in Lynnwood where we received top notch customer service with a sales associate who knew her shit when it came to furniture. We ended up purchasing a beautiful REAL all leather sectional from there for the same price of the fake leather crap they have at Ashley. I will NEVER walk inside an Ashley store ever again let alone buy anything with the Ashley name...not even at a garage sale! I'll make it a point to tell everyone I know to stay away from Ashley as well. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague and go somewhere that has true professionals working for them who know their products. Ashley Furniture is a joke and so are the people working there. read more

I wanted to let everyone know about our terrible Ashley experience... We got a new house and wanted to get all new furniture so we went to the store and picked everything out but the couch, new bedroom, new dining room, new kids room. Luckily we got our new couch from Macy's which was awesome. It all went bad with starting with delivery. The guys that delivered the furniture took zero care in not completely trashing our carpets, denting the walls and putting the wrong furniture in the wrong rooms. Plus they wouldn't take the refusal of one of the pieces. The sales person said we could return anything within 14 days but didn't say it was for store credit. The armoire had doors that wouldn't close and the kids bed was scratched... So we reported the delivery damage and sent pictures. It took over 2 weeks for a reply and Ashley wouldn't even take care of it since they used a third party for the delivery. The follow up deliveries and furniture repair has been ridiculously difficult. I tried for Tuesday 2 times and then when they didn't show up they said it was a different day. The third time they finally told me they don't deliver to our address on Tuesdays. My vote, stay away. We will never buy furniture there again. read more

The associates in the store were GREAT. They were helpful, courteous and not pushy at all. The corporate delivery service was awful. I had two pieces back ordered, which I had no problem with. Two delivery appointments were made without notifying me and one of them was rescheduled and, again, I didn't get any notification. Each time I spoke with customer service, I was told it was due to a software update that lasted a few days, however, this happened three times, over the course of 30+ days. The quality of the furniture is great so far. If it weren't for the poor delivery process, I would shop there again. read more

We looked everywhere for a recliner-we'd just moved to the San Juan Islands and were sitting in our lawn furniture in a much smaller home that our furniture wouldn't fit in. We found exactly what we wanted and were ready to take it home with us-no it had to be ordered from the warehouse, ok, we could wait a week. It costs us over $60 just to get to the store-including the ferry, but we understood. Then there was confusion about the date-maybe the 29 instead of the 10th we'd agreed on. We said no, we'll keep looking-all of a sudden they could get it on the 10th, but when we arrived that day-no chair-back to the 29th. They had taken our money promising us a chair-we paid over $60 just to find out they wouldn't have it? Someone couldn't have called us? We paid in cash-and no one seemed to know what to do, how to write it up and order the chair-that should have been our clue. And if you pay in CASH, you can't go back an get your money to go buy another chair somewhere else, you have to wait 2 weeks for them to mail you a check. Long story short, they lied for a commission, knowing how hard it would be for us to go back and forth for this chair. Never, ever again! read more

Last year I furnished just about my entire house with Ashley Furniture and paid cash. Lots and lots of cash. I purchased the protection plan knowing that accidents happen. We recently had an accident (my niece peed all over our couch) so I called to file a claim. It has now been two weeks and I'm still waiting for a technician to come out. It took over a week just to get my claim filed because the warranty company didn't have any of my information because the store never sent it to them like they were supposed to when I initially purchased the warranty. Then, it took a whole week more just to get a call back and get a technician scheduled. Then, and hour before the end of my service appointment window I get a call letting me know they need to reschedule and can't get anyone out here until the middle of next week! I can't believe how much money I dropped with this company and how poorly this whole process has gone. read more

I purchased a Queen Sleeper Sofa for over $1000 and when it was opened, we realized that it was missing screws and was not put together properly! I called them and set up an appointment for the service department to come out and fix the sofa, but after waiting all day, I finally called them up! I was told that they will not come out to fix it, even though it is lest than a year old, because it was in a business! They never told me this when I called the store to complain or the Customer Service to schedule the appointment! I ordered a counter height table and chair set. No problem with the set. I also ordered bedroom set. It was delivered and the right drawer in the bed did not open and close, the media chest was missing parts and had a scratch on the top. The nightstand drawer doesn't work properly. The man that delivered said he would report it and someone would come and fix it. (beware, this is a mistake, I should have refused deliver!) About 10 days later a tech came out, he looked at it and said, "yep it is broken!" He ordered parts and said, "call when they come in." One week later, the parts arrived. I called and was told it would be three weeks before a tech can come and fix the furniture. Every time I call I'm on hold 40+ minutes only to hear the canned response they are trained to say. I have asked for them to replace the broken furniture that I purchased, only to be told that since I agreed to have a tech fix it I need to wait for that to happen!! I will never purchase or recommend Ashley furniture to anyone. In fact I will go out of my way to tell people to beware.......they DON"T CARE! read more

After waiting all morning for the phone to ring, giving my delivery time window, I called them only to be informed that it would not be arriving for 5 weeks!!!!! Absolutely stay away from this Store..Bought a new King Bed also Mattress set form the Ashley Burlington Store, found out we were over charged when I went home and got online, called the store the next day explained over charge and Ashley Employee states "ohhh you are correct and we will get you a new invoice with the corrected amount mailed to you" here I sit 3 weeks later and have called the store 3 times also stoped in store and was told " oh we have no front office help yet and she will call you!" I am sitting here the next day in the evening with no phone call so I call "oh if you can wait another hour I will email it to you and tried calling you but your voicemail is full" I began laughing at her and said no that is a lie as I don't have one voicemail saved for it to be full! She tells me I need to wait as I stated I have been waiting almost 3 weeks for a receipt and is unacceptable! She stated well we had your email in here wrong also your phone number..that became the customers fault why!!?? Please stay clear of this store if you would like customer service and not be over charged and begging for a receipt.. I will shop small stores from this point on! I had the absolute worst customer experience with Ashley Furniture and Ashley single handedly ruined my Easter holiday. On March 29th 2015 my wife and I purchased a dining room table set and a sectional couch from your Burlington, WA store. A couple days later I received a call from Ashley delivery stating they wanted to deliver all the furniture except for the table. I explained to the lady that I would rather wait until the table is in so that everything could be delivered at once. She said that would be fine and that they could deliver everything on Saturday the 4th of April. On Friday the 3rd of April I received a call from Ashley Customer Care who said they'd be arriving at my house between 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. They also went through the itemized list of furniture in which everything was accounted for that should've arrived on Saturday. When Saturday came the movers explained to me that there was no dining room table and that the large piece of the sectional couch was missing. So here I have a couch I can't use and a dining room table I can't use. I immediately called the Burlington, WA Ashley store and spoke to the manager and explained to him of my situation. He was very apologetic and realized that this was a big misunderstanding on Ashley's part and suggested that I talk to Ashley's shipping department/customer care. When I called the customer care line the first time and asked to speak to a manager on shift I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then the call dropped. I called back in a second time and a lady explained to me that the dining room table and couch piece couldn't be delivered no later than April 18th. I explained to her that this wasn't going to work because I had family coming for Easter dinner and I needed the table. I then asked to speak to the manager and was put on hold for 30 minutes when the call again was disconnected. I then called in a third time and explained my situation again. The lady I spoke to told me that I couldn't speak to a manager because they wasn't one available and that they couldn't do anything anyway. She also explained that they didn't have the furniture pieces in stock and that the earliest they could be delivered was April 18th. At this point I was very upset and wanted to return the entire purchase. But my wife convince me otherwise and I accepted the delivery date of April 18th. I then called the Burlington, WA Ashley store to speak with the manager because he wanted an update. I explained to him the situation and where it stood. He said that he would work with his people to see if he could get me a credit on my initial purchase. He said he'd call me within an hour and if not first thing Sunday. I never received a call. The thing that upsets me the most is I had to cancel my Easter dinner with my family because I didn't have a table to eat at. Also, I spoke with Ashley multiple times in making sure all the furniture pieces would be delivered together. read more

Terrible service. We chose a specific date so we would be home for delivery. We get a call at the end of our time frame saying the driver never showed up so they can't deliver...what the hell is that about!! We then proceed to get told they don't deliver on Sunday's but they'll make an exception and it will be delivered between 11-2 next day and they'll waive delivery fee (we'll see how long it takes to see that back!) It's 1pm next day and no call. Check the tracker and there's 16 jobs, were #16. Don't deliver on Sunday- what a joke! The guy doesn't show up until 530!!!! Needless to say it ruined our plans for the 4th and the likelihood of us going back to Ashley furniture slim to none! read more

decent in the past but are horrible now carefully inspect their junk furniture at delivery before they bring it into your home !!! about 10 years ago we bought a bedroom set from ashley. it was a decent experience as items were delivered on time and undamaged. two months ago we ordered some additional furniture from them and it was a different experience. first, haggle with them as their pricing is now ridiculous (even their sale prices are not reasonable). most of their furniture is only a thin veneer finish it is not solid wood furniture and yet they have raised their price point significantly. second, they will not let you pick up items yourself at the store (they claim they don't have space) so they force you to pay for home delivery. when the delivery persons brought the furniture we asked them to simply wipe their shoes before entering and they both seemed offended that we asked even thought it was raining outside. when they brought in the second piece of furniture they made no attempt to wipe their shoes on the front door mat, i asked them again and this time they basically ignored us and each time after that. then they bumped one of our walls denting it with the new furniture and then denied it was them. at this point we were irritated with them and did not look over the furniture as carefully as we should have. after the very rude delivery persons left we discovered every single piece of furniture had defects or damage. two tables had corners damaged from shipping so the finish was torn off (again this is a thin veneer finish). a cabinet had defective hinges so the door scrapes against the cabinet frame finish on open or close. another cabinet had the corner hit so hard that a 2 " piece was fractured/splintered off. a table had white sealant or paint on 3 of 4 legs (this is brown furniture). it is shameful that this is how they now operate. we are still arguing with them at this point. read more

This is the second time we'be been to this store to buy furniture. The first round we bought a living room set for my mother-in-law from Perscilla. They delivered everything and picked up the old furniture. There was a scratch on the bottom of the couch, that they took care of with a follow up service call. She loves both the couch and the chair. The second time we went back for a couch for my husband, and we went here specifically because of the service and value we received the first time. Priscilla greeted us at the door with a smile on her face, and was able to help us find exactly what we needed. We're planning to come back for future needs. read more

Super disappointed. During a time that should be exciting for us we've been awarded a massive headache. We were told we would be able to move our shipping date once we knew for sure when our house was closing. The only thing we couldn't change is the coffee table bc it had to be made. Well I called to have them deliver the couch, love seat and other table a few days earlier (as the salesman instructed) but I come to find it's the couch that isn't ready. I asked to have everything else delivered earlier and we would stick with the original date for the couch. Then I'm told nope, in order to change my delivery date they would need to push back the couch 14 days from the scheduled date... How does that make sense? Extremely disappointed and frustrated with Ashely. We won't be going back there ever again. read more

My husband and I have recently moved and were looking into buying a sleeper sofa. We visited Ashley's on 09 March and was lucky enough to find the Darcy Sleeper Sofa which we both really loved. Our experience at Ashley's HomeStore was perfect, we financed our new sleeper sofa and continued on our way: so simple and easy. We were promised delivery for 19 March; 19 March came and as the delivery drivers were getting ready to unload our item, my husband notice a visible tear on the arm. He was given two options: having someone arrive at a later time for repair or to reject delivery and reschedule for a new product to be delivered at a later time. Obviously, we chose to reject delivery and get a brand new flawless sleeper sofa since that is what we financed. My husband was told that someone will contact us for delivery, we waited a couple of days and nobody ever contacted us. I, then, proceeded to contact Ashley's for delivery information and was told delivery wouldn't be possible until 25 March, they refunded the delivery charge and we accepted our fate. 25 March rolls around and three hours before delivery, my husband receives a phone call stating there was a delay and we will again, not be receiving our item. We let, yet again, another couple days pass and called to find out about delivery since nobody had contacted us for the second time, only to be told we would have to wait another two days, guaranteeing delivery on 29 March. We were also reassured by the representative that there should be no more delays as the sleeper sofa was in stock at the warehouse; she also told us to look out for delivery confirmation within the next couple of days. It is now 1843 on 28 March and I, AGAIN, had to contact Ashley's for delivery confirmation as we hadn't received a call or e-mail. Once on the phone with their customer care, I was told delivery was "manually confirmed on 25 March for 13-1600 on 29 March"... can you guess what happened? Unfortunately, both my husband and I work at that time and will not be available as nobody ever confirmed that window time frame with us. The representative, Alejandra, did her due diligence in trying to move the timeframe but was unable to since the route was already establish and my home would be "too out of the way" to be scheduled any earlier. I was peeved, to say the least and finally, asked to speak to a manager, held and was later transferred to speak to manager, Harley, who did as I requested and looked for special delivery options and/or any further compensation that could be refunded. To my dismay, she returned on the line to tell me there was absolutely nothing she could further do, in addition to being, the highest person with authority that I could verbally speak to. She further explained that delivery wouldn't take place until the following Tuesday (another 5 days of waiting)... I reluctantly accepted to change the delivery, however, Harley soon returned to tell me that the current delivery order was locked, so she requested the change and we would have to wait for delivery confirmation within the next couple of days...as if we haven't heard that before, huh? read more

I ordered a sectional from the Burlington, WA location a week before Thanksgiving. The delivery date we scheduled and PAYED FOR was Tuesday December, 09. I got a phone call on Saturday Dec. 6th saying they had to re schedule for Thursday the 11th and that they would call us 3 days prior to set up a time for the delivery. Well we never got a call so I called on Tuesday. Was on hold for 10 minutes and was assured that they would contact us by Wednesday to set up a time. Wednesday I still had no call. I called again Wednesday evening, on hold for 10 minutes and was told that the delivery was scheduled for Friday. And they didn't even contact us to tell us they changed it yet again. I said ok well are you guys actually going to call me this time to set up a time for the Friday delivery. I again was assured that they would contact me. Well Thursday evening still no call. I called, was on hold for 13 minutes and was hung up on. So called back and on hold for another 10 minutes. And when I yet again explained the situation I was told the delivery date was now the 17th. At this point I was furious and demanded to speak to someone about this. The customer service rep said she didn't know what was going on and she put me on hold for a few minutes and said she would take my number and contact the warehouse to have them contact me this evening. 3 hours later and surprise surprise no phone call. At this point I am about to go to the location in which I made the purchase and just get my money back and take my business elsewhere. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. read more

This was me and my husbands first big purchase together! I am trying to build my credit and there is an in-store finance person, Tracey is who helped us. He was very nice. They said that our monthly payments could be lowered if my husband applied with me. Alex was our salesman and he was very nice and helpful. He helped us find exactly what we needed as we described our wants in the sofa and chair we were looking for. I was so excited to build my credit and get new furniture! Well now not so much. Now I wish I had never gone there. We decided to pick up our own furniture and skip the 150.00$ delivery fee since we have a truck and trailer. We get it home right before our vacation and open it up and it's the wrong furniture. Fine whatever I'll call them. The woman that answered the phone was resolved to fix the problem herself even though she wasn't our sales person, or financial person we had dealt with before. She insisted that it was a warehouse error and that I needed to take pictures of it to confirm, or they would have to send someone out to look at it to make sure it was the wrong furniture. In order to help them with possible confusion at the warehouse. Why is that my job? Why didn't she believe me? She also said it was the right furniture and that the one we sat on in the showroom was two years old, and that it just looked different under their lights and with wear of being there so long. Nope. Just the wrong furniture. So my husband has to go down there on his Sunday and fix it. They pick up old/wrong and deliver this time for free, as they should and refund us the HUNDRED AND SIXTY dollars more the wrong furniture was compared to what we ordered. So giving us our money back. Then after we've had the furniture I get two rejection letters from their credit company they use. So now it's not helping my credit and I have some although beautiful but very expensive furniture that reminds me everyday of that. If I could give negative stars I would! Absolutely terrible experience. They ordered the wrong mattress due to their signs being mixed up and when it was delivered we noticed they error because I picked out a plush pillow top and they ordered an extra firm. After it was delivered we realized that they made a mistake. We went back to the store and the manager Alicia told me they would get the replacement in two days. Well, today was the day that the original mattress was supposed to be delivered but guess what? It didn't arrive. When I called the store to ask about the delivery I was told the manager would call me back but that didn't happen either. When I called the store back three hours later I was transferred to the corporate office and they spent an hour telling me they were sorry but they couldn't do anything to get the right mattress delivered before 9 more days. I'm sending everything back. I'm pretty sure that they will mess up the return order because they don't care about their customers. DON'T SHOP HERE! read more

My husband purchased me a gift card for valentines day to purchase end tables. We go and pick out the end tables we want and find a sales person to help us. they write the whole order up and than ask us if we want it delivered for$129.00 or do we want to drive yo Tukwila and pick it up. We said we just want to get it here. They don't do that. But nowhere on the prices or signage does it say no furniture actually available here, nor that there is a fee for delivery. Also it was not available for 2 weeks for delivery or pickup. Then to top it off no one knows how to redeem the gift card. We spoke with the manager who was useless, and acted like we were in the wrong. Horrible experience. do not ever purchase furniture there. read more

Let me first start by saying I was very happy with the service at Ashley furniture, but my main reason for writing this review is actually about the awful delivary experiance I have had. We had our first Schedulled appointment just a week after the day we bought out sectional, but then got a call saying it would be pushed out 2 weeks, I wasnt very happy but there wasnt much I could do. Well finally the day had finally come for the delivary of our new sectional but we hadnt recieved a call notifiing us of an ETA so my husband called to check on a time frame. Once my husband finally was able to get a hold they then informed him that it was going to be pushed out another 2 days!! At this point my husband had already taken the day off work and lost pay over nothing. The delivary Dept. clames to of called the night before on both of our phones to informed us and claimed to of left V/M, but yet neither of us had missed calls, or V/M. After all said and done they woldnt even discount my delivary fee. Lets now see how the actual delivary goes! read more

Don't every purchase the so called WARRANTY PACKAGE for your furniture! You will end spending money on something that doesn't even cover the problem at all! I'm so annoyed at this point I will never buy from this company again! The sales person specifically said that any and all damage not what what would be covered! I hold nothing against the kind staff at the local store, but as a company, I cannot recommend that anybody purchase furniture from Ashley Furniture as they neither stand behind the products they sell or assist you when you want to remedy a problem. I agree with every negative review of this place. DONT SHOP HERE. Their warranty is bogus. I bought a table and chairs here at the Burlington Store after seeing one in their show room. It had to be ordered to the store and then picked up by me to put together. After putting it together I noticed the table top had a large bubble in it and had scratches in the table under the finish. The table top was much lower quality than the store model I thought I was buying- no one would pay 600$ for a table top in that condition. I had customer service send a service tech to look at it and he agreed with me that it's a manufacturing defect and the table was made with many more imperfections then other tables of this model. HE took pictures to file a report. Then he told me to call customer service again and I could discuss with them getting a new table under the one year warranty. I called SEVERAL times and finally got a hold of someone that would discuss my claim. He told me the service tech's report said there was no damage to my table and after repeatedly telling the service rep that the technician saw very noticeable damage he said he would do nothing for me and I would have to live with the defective table top. This is a huuuuge scam-you can't see the table you're buying and you're stuck with it. The customer service is terrible and you can't go to the store to talk to them about it the issue you can only go around in circles with someone on the phone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!!!! They will not honor their warranty and they do not sell a quality product. My experience of buying the furniture was fine. However after delivery the three piece sectional was sitting in a theater room not yet finished so we had not sat on or used in any way. We were cleaning the house four days after delivery and noticed an irregularity in the leather on one piece. On the first business day after this I called to see about getting a replacement and this is when the experience got bad. They will not replace anything after 48 hours. They offered to replace the section that was bad and after sending pictures they accused me of using chemicals on it. Funny how it was only in the one spot. I have other Ashley products but based on their customer service I would never purchase again. Buyer beware closely inspect every inch of your product before signing the delivery receipt. Update on this purchase and the terrible customer service. Purchase was on 5/23 15 and here it is 8/7/15. I took the day off work to wait for the Ashley tech to replace the leather section which was bad. I waited on hold 47 minutes to schedule this and now the tech is 2 hours late. I have called the customer care line and waited 33 minutes before getting cut off. I called back and waited 22 more minutes before being cut off again. DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING ASHLEY AGAIN. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more
