I walked in here to look at and potentially purchase a dining set. All employees were helping one customer with what sounded like a finance deal. I spent time looking through all the dining sets and made eye contact with the employees, but none came to answer my questions. I ended up leaving without anybody talking to me. Beware!!! Sales rep here don't know there stuff. They seem nice but they have no idea about opening Ashley's credit. Do NOT open their credit card, they will take away more points than buying a car. They took away total of 85 points from my credit. I only purchased under $4k but they took this much away. Sales rep told me, it won't affect much on your points, Nope, they lied. They just want you to sign and apply for their credit card, she told me that order for me to get $500 off on my purchase, I need to open their credit card, that's a lie. They know they are lying, but they are tricking you to get you to get credit card. I came to this location 3 months ago, bc I was moving, I got several furnitures, planning to pay off upfront but sales lady told me that if I want to get $500 off with the purchase of their set, came out to be almost $4k. That I need to sign up for their credit card. Getting $500 off from $4k, that's quite a lot. I did it and got $500 off but synchrony credit card company took away 55 points for opening, then took additional 30 points for making a first monthly payment. Another issue is, as soon as I make my first payment, someone in the store had access to my credit card and made a purchase of over $300 on my account. I called synchrony, they told me that I went to purchase over $300 that I don't know about. I had to dispute that amount bc there's no way I can purchase over $300 day after I made my first monthly payment. There was no reminding balance for $300 bc that's how much I got furnitures from here. I end up paying full balance within 3 months. I don't trust this furniture store and their synchrony credit card company that they associate with. Ever since opening a credit card here, I started getting so many scam calls. Seems like they share your personal info to others. Beware opening Ashley's credit card Don't do it...! Very disappointed. After I paid full balance, my credit points are still down 85 points. The store in Alpharetta was so nice, I had high hopes for this place but wouldn't recommend. When I think outlet I'm thinking random pieces of furniture, great prices, warehouse style environment and I better be ready to walk down aisles and really look. Here? Nope. They basically had tiny pieces of furniture (nothing felt substantial) and the styles were not appealing that I didn't bother to really look at prices. Long story short, our order for furniture was not entered correctly. In turn, delivering the wrong furniture. After being told it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery, no updates were given and 10 weeks later it was delivered. We ordered the oversized seats, manual recline in gray. What we received were the regular size seats in gray. No big deal right? Just contact them to fix it and get the correct furniture. We were sooooo wrong. The runaround we got, and are still going through! Customer service listens to my husbands concerns and for some reason, put in notes, we had an issue with the furniture being put together in the driveway. Where did THAT even come from? That was never discussed and we had threshold delivery which means they don't put it together (she should have seen that in her notes). So she blatantly did not listen to the customer and put in whatever notes she deemed would work. She also told my husband the delivery men would be back out that same day to collect the wrong furniture. I ended up going to the physical store and speaking to the store manager, who was very pleasant. She explained how the order was improperly ordered and that she could have the correct furniture ordered, shipped and delivered to us on April 22. However, a case had to be opened and go through the proper channels to and be approved by corporate. She explained corporate had 24-48 hours to reach out to us with a response. It has now been 4 days and no word from corporate or the store letting us know what is going on with our furniture. We have this furniture in our home we did not order, we do not want, end tables on back order, and an outstanding case that is lingering in the air. I went in today and spoke to a manager, Jessica. Very unpleasant young woman. She first told me the furniture I originally wanted to purchase wasn't even available. When I'm turn, I stated the store manager, the previous Monday had found the furniture we ordered and put them all in the cart and gave us a delivery date. So why could Jessica NOT be able to find the furniture? Untrained? She then told me she could get this furniture, after magically finding it, but delivery wouldn't be until June! That is simply not acceptable. Not when 4 days prior I could have had said furniture on the 22 of April. I then told her to cancel the order, the end tables, pick up these loveseats and refund my money. We'll buy at a reputable company who treats customers with respect and not just a number and who listens to their concerns rather than what 'they' hear. I asked when I should expect a refund. Jessica tells me when the product is returned. I can cal corporate. I said, you should call corporate bc I'm the upset customer and I want this stuff picked up to get my refund so I can buy my furniture. She reluctantly called corporate. As did I. She asked if I had gotten through to anyone, I said no. She proceeded to hang up her phone. I asked why she did that and she told me she can't tie up the line. WHAT?? I am an upset customer and you can't hold up a phone line to help me out?!?! Very unprofessional. These people have no idea what sales and customer service is all about. She apologized ONE time and in a very low voice. She was very disrespectful and we will NEVER return to this store. Word of mouth is the worst and she could have made this situation so much better. Placed an order for Soletren online this morning. Has delivery scheduled for two days from now! Went into the store today to verify if it was the same one I fell in love with back in February and while there, I was approached by Jeremiah. He was quick, polite and extremely patient as we walked around the site for 30 minutes (him carrying around the throw pillows from the set I bought this morning) trying to find a recliner that would kinda match Sole. Eventually we found one and the process was painless (especially with it having the same delivery date as the online order). He made sure I understood everything, had me verify all delivery and item details before signing. The only reason we are in the market is because our 10 year old Darcy set (also from Ashley) has seen better days. Will come back to update once products are received and will notate when they were received. 4/29/22 - delivery was on time (actually early) and furniture was as expected. Faulty furniture. On 6/8, received a media reclining loveseat from Ashley in Canton. The left side works fine but the right side sticks. Reported the problem to Ashley on 6/9 and reminded them that we bought the 5 year warranty. We were told that we needed to video the difficulty and send it to them. I'm 62 years old and my father is 85, how are we to video what is wrong and send it to them we are not furniture techs. Whatever is wrong is on the inside. I have never been more disappointed and upset. We purchased an expensive Tempur-pedic mattress and adjustable base. They told us a week maybe two delivery time , but not to worry it is in stock. We were lied to just so they could make the sale. I've been calling for 2 weeks, 1st call they said it was in the warehouse going through quality control. Next call I was told the mattress is in the warehouse but waiting on the base. Do not get anything from this place if you need it delivered. They are supposed to call 24 hours ahead of time to set up the delivery confirmation after I already paid for it. Well they called more than 48 hours in advance. Some people have jobs and can't answer their phone. I called them back when I could and they postponed my delivery to another date. Let me repeat, I already paid to have my furniture delivered and took the day off of work. The customer service at the warehouse is completely incompetent.
