I purchased furniture from the American Furniture in Springfield PA. The delivery crew was unable…read moreto get the sofa into my living room and ended up breaking my blinds, and put holes, indentations, and drags marks on my walls and ceiling. The delivery crew had initially left without acknowledging the damage they caused and hid the damage to the blinds by pulling them all the way up. The delivery crew bent the metal corner bead in the ceiling. Michael, the salesman from American Furniture Design in Springfield provided me his supervisor's contract information. His supervisor is Mark, who works in American Furniture Design in Delran NJ. Mark had his contractor review damage. American Furniture's description of the damage is "some nicks and dirt". The damage to the metal corner bead alone exceeds the description of "some nicks and dirt". I sent Mark a repair estimate provided by a contractor I had previously hired. Mark doubted the legitimacy of the contractor I hired and the estimate my contract provided. Mark requested that I provide my contractor's insurance information, which I did. Upon receiving it, Mark immediately disregarded it. He stated that he only wanted to see if I'd actually send the insurance information. Mark claimed the estimate was written on "loose-leaf binder paper". Their description is overly generic and misleading. The estimate was written on Adams D8118 paper, which is a standard template for itemized proposals. I ended up taking the American Furniture of Springfield to court and won. They didn't send Adam, Michael, Mark, or Mark's contractor to court. Instead a salesman who has no ownership of the Springfield company, and someone who I never dealt/talked with before. I won in court. As of 9/2/2021, I have yet to receive any payment for the judgement against American Furniture Design of Springfield.

After the set up, they left all the trash on my front lawn and told me that they do not dispose of the trash. This was a Thursday. When I called the store they told that they'd have them come back out on Saturday to remove/break down the boxes and place them in my trash area. The only thing they did was flatten the boxes and place them against my fence. I will never shop here again.

I cant speak on the delivery option because I picked my merchandise up. But even when I picked my table and chairs up the guys were very helpful and loaded me right up. I'll definitely be back. Only issue is since this is a warehouse outlet you get exactly what you're seeing on the floor. Maybe a scratch or issue with merchandise so make sure you look at what you're buying.
