Dorothy, the store manager was super knowledgeable and helpful. She helped us think through our options and come up with a great solution. There were several reasonably priced bedroom sets in the showroom to look at and "try on for size." We ended up purchasing a beautiful bedroom set for our guest room. Friendly faces of the sales team cycle thru every visit- makes me wonder how good it is to work here. Buyer beware, all sales are final and do not buy the warranty because it doesn't cover labor, installation/haul away, or shipping. Paid over $6k for a leather couch and nearly $600 for the extended warranty then within the 1st year the recliner mechanism broke and it takes months to get a repair plus I have to pay shipping and for someone to connect it. This should have been explained up front but they are in a hurry to book the sale and I imagine with the turnover I've witnessed they don't really train the employees to explain details. Bottom line is I don't recommend and I won't be back. read more

We bought a couch less than a year ago with a premium on warranty. Little did we know when we need to claim warranty on the motor which broke soon after delivery, Ashley furniture store did everything they can to NOT help us. They managed to stall over a year after the warranty expired to tell us that they won't cover since it expired. Bought a dining room table and chairs from Ashley's about six years ago. I was very happy with it, and they had good customer service with a small problem we had with it. BUT when we got our $500 TV stand from them, it has been nothing but problems. We pointed out some nicks in cabinet to delivery people. They took pictures and said they would report it. Never heard from anyone. Ashley's person, said we should not have received it and it was our fault!!! I got very angry and told them what the delivery people said. She finally said she would have someone fix it, in 4-6 weeks. They came and fixed the nicks but did not have a hinge for the door and he would order. He never came back and I called to his company to complain and they said not their fault, call Ashley's. Linda, the office manager, was really trying to help me, but I think she was frustrated too. Then two weeks ago, we bought the stand in December 2021, the back fell off and the shelves fell down, when we tried to move it to check the wiring of the TV. We had insurance on it, so I called them. It WASN'T covered!!! They said call Ashley's. Called Ashley's and sent pictures. Linda very sympathetic, and forwarded pictures to corporate. Three weeks later, still have not heard from them. Linda said we should hear from 7-10 working days!!! Tried to call three times today, no answer and no recording!!! I have made MANY purchases from the Easton Ashley Furniture in Easton. February 2020 we purchased several thousand dollars furniture for our home, a table namely for our kitchen area is the issue. It arrived damaged as noticed by the delivery person. I was offered a repair or replacement, I choose a repair as we had already sold our old furnitire and it would be months before we got a replacement. The repair person came, I was informed by him it was not able to be repaired.. I requested a replacement. After numerous calls and visits to the store, the Manager John brushed me off to a warehouse representative. We are still waiting on resolution. This last purchase has been a nightmare. We received very poor service during a warranty claim. Buyer beware if you are buying anything that might need service after the sale - even with the extended warranty - you are not going to be happy. I've received better service at Walmart! We won't be returning. read more

We moved to a condo on the eastern shore and searched many furniture stores. We finally found a sofa/loveseat combination we loved. Ina was a big help as well as the store manager (John?). They both couldn't have been nicer and we enjoyed the experience. The issue was when they went to deliver the unit it wouldn't fit in the elevator (short by 2 inches). They sub out their deliveries and in the contract it says they would carry it up to the third floor for the same delivery fee. We are on the 4th floor and they wouldn't carry it up one more flight of steps. We were even willing to pay but the crew put the furniture back on the truck and drove away. No phone call, very rude. I've never heard of such a thing and was given no other options but to get a refund which because of this experience we will be looking elsewhere to buy the other furniture we need to fill up our condo. When we started looking at other options and still looking the two other furniture stores they had no issue with the carry up. I mean if your carrying it to the 3rd floor whats one more (and we would have gladly paid) read more

After looking at 3 other furniture stores we decided to stop by Ashley furniture in Easton to see what they had to offer. Upon entering the store we were kindly greeted by Ina. She took time to answer all of the questions we had, but gave us space to look privately. Ina was incredibly knowledgeable about the furniture in the store and was forthright with us. We purchased our new furniture from Ina and will be repeat customers of hers for sure. We were initially happy with our purchase.. Within a few weeks, our new full size sofa started making creaking noises and got progressively worse. A tech came to look and found no frame damage..But, he heard the noise, saw the sinking middle cushion and said he would recommend a replacement. He thought there must have been damage during the delivery process. I had to call to follow-up. No one contacted me. I was sent to different departments and was told that it was not covered through our extended warranty or the manufacturers warranty. This couch is only 5 months old!! I will never but another product from this company. I got off the phone feeling frustrated and cheated. Have never been so disappointed in a company! This place is terrible they did not honor on line pricing even though when my husband and I went into the store they guaranteed they did. We spent an hour there signing our contact just to get a call the next day saying the on line price was to low for them honor even though the price was through Ashley. read more

STAY AWAY FROM ALL ASHLEY's stores. They DO NOT stand behind their product. My living room set is less than a yr old and because it's a manufacture defect and looks good, they are doung nothing about - not their problem The FUCKED UP IGNORANT employees they have working in the service department have no empathy - they were taught to say what they are saying is what I was told, really? How can they get away with treating their consumers like this? It is so wrong!!!! And they know exactly what they are doing. Although the notes from the technician state "looks good visually", but poorly manafactured" yes, it does look good, but don't sit on it. I'm not finished, I'm pursuing it. I had a great experience while shopping with Nancy. She was knowledgeable and very helpful in answering the tons of questions I had. The customer service rep was friendly and informative and answered every question in regards to pricing, shipping, etc. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the time it's going to take for my furniture to come in. I know it's a bigger issue than the store associates and it's something I've heard from others that the furniture while nice, and the staff friendly, the turn around for physically getting your items is extensive and I totally agree. My furniture is not projected to be in for 6-8 weeks which is a huge downfall. Hopefully the distribution center can do something to expedite this for future customers. I was willing to wait but I know others will be turned off by that and it will mpact my decision to shop with them in the future. read more

If I could leave a minus I would. They are overpriced for local delivery ($100 for a local delivery) We picked up a $1,000 sofa for which they improperly loaded in our BRAND NEW TRUCK .. Damaging the vehicle .. We contacted the manager within 24 hours. Ashley Furniture REFUSED to cover the damage to our vehicle. I bought my 2nd sofa from Ashley's in Easton -and within a month I notice the back cushion looked sloppy-only on 1 cushion.I opened the cushion and discovered the material inside was different from all the other cushions ( NOT IN A PILLOW ENCLOSED CASE-loose fibers) I immediately called-was informed the main supervisor would contact me in 5-7 days. I had issues with my 1st couch also,but now I know NEVER to buy there again. It has been 2 1/2 weeks , Ive called them 5 times-went to store,sent pictures, STILL NO RESPONSE. HORRIFIC customer service. BTW my daughter had a problem with sofa purchased at Big Lots and they fixed it immediately. I am stuck with defective sofa-expensive one to bout. Better business complaint is next. I requested to switch my cushion with the one on display-they refused. They dont want a defective cushion in their store-just my house. If I could leave a negative star I would. Shopping experience itself was fine, but the delivery, set-up, poor quality of furniture and lack of response from customer care have prompted an actual warning in the hopes no one else goes through this. Was given a delivery window of 12-4, guys showed up at 6:45, so it's a good thing I didn't have any plans that day... They rushed to put it together so quickly that they completely neglected to even attach part of the frame; luckily my husband and I took the mattress off before they left the driveway so we could flag them back to do something about it (it wasn't in the instructions so they didn't know what to do was the excuse...). In their haste to leave they left their moving tarp and trash in the house (hey, free tarp though!). The quality of the bed is sub-par for the $1500 I paid; none of the eye holes for the bolts are level with each other, causing unequal distance between all the slats that I now have to get a sheet a plywood to cover so the mattress doesn't ultimately sag, and the bed rails themselves do not square up, VERY poorly crafted manufacturing. No return on my emails to customer support or calls to the store, so I'm not a happy camper. Buyer beware at this store!!!! read more

I bought a couch with 5 yr warranty, less than 18 months later the couch cushion was not lining up with the fabric seams. The warranty company had no record of my purchase. I called Ashley and Judy was right on top of my problem. She took care of the warranty issue and even was able to promise me a new cushion free for my couch. Judy did an awesome job! I just hope the cushion shows up ! Even so , I feel Ashley has been responsive to my concerns in a timely , professional manner. read more

I will not be purchasing from Ashley furniture in the future and will not recommend to friends and family. I purchased a sofa set, was originally told I would receive within 2-6 weeks. Then was told it wouldn't be in until November 2018!!! Was not allowed to cancel order. Had to threaten a credit dispute- was promised by customer service to have furniture delivered on 12/13/17. Now they are saying it can't be delivered until after 12/19/17. This has been the worst experience I've ever had buying furniture. I will be shopping at Ikea or Amazon in the future. read more

It has an impossible to use online system, and if you call you'll get nothing but attitude. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE! We purchased a sofa and a one and a half chair. The sofa was delivered BROKEN. It was reported to the store on the day of delivery with pictures via email. We spoke with the manager who told us that a repair services will contact us. The service did and told us that they ONLY service the Eastern Shore 1 time a month; therefore, they did not come to fix the sofa until January 30. However, they did not fix the sofa. They told us that it was too extensive of a repair to be completed that day and that they would have to write a report and order parts. Then we heard NOTHING. We contacted the repair service who informed us that they NO LONGER work with Ashley Furniture. We contacted the store again. Supposedly part was ordered, and they would contact us. That has been almost 2 weeks ago and we have NOT HEARD anything since. So, we have been with a broken sofa that we paid over $1500 for almost 3 months! Now they are giving my husband and I a run around. Next stop for us will be the BBB and the State's Attorney. This is ridiculous!!!! One star is too kind of a review.
