BUYER BEWARE After two months,10 messages, disputing my credit card and filling out a BBB report someone finally called me to do a refund my money. I think this is horrible I had to go through this and they still never refunded the original $150 from the last order as promised. I have requested again for a call from upper management we will see if this happens. So here is everything in detail BUYER BE WARE DEVON . I feel like dealing with the Fresno store and DEVON I am in the WILD WILD WEST. He has lied to be insulted me treated rude just as he does his employees. There are so many scenarios I can't spend enough time writing. Just for starters I chose a set for my son with delivery. The delivery driver dropped his side table and would not install the USB cords to which should have been on his bed and two night stands they left two for my son and said that your job( my sons to install and then we only got two out of three) I thought deliver and installation would have included that. Not to mention when we ordered the set we stated just like the display to which was NOT WHAT WE RECEIVED or what was put on the paper apparently. So I waited a few weeks and left a message for the manager DEVON he FAILED to return my call so I waited and had to call again stating I would hold as I had left a message prior and no return call. I made him aware of what was going on and he stated well you guys signed for the furniture yes I agree I also made him aware I have been trying to purchase more furniture as I just bought a new home and was looking to furnish it but the sales team member has not returned my call. DEVON asked I come to the store and he will surely take care of me. HAHA you mean come down so I can treat you bad in person. After arriving at the store I made him aware about the wrong bed to which he stated my employees double check every order. I felt as he was acting like I was trying to get one over on him.. I even stated that my brother in law is a trucker and there is a friends and family discount. He looked at me odd with a smirk and stated the best I can do is an internet match for anything new I wanted as well as free shipping I said so there is no other discount he said NO ( to which why did I go down to the store to be insulted and lied to) I thought strange but ok I am tired at this point I also said oh I have three gift cards he said you can't use them I said not even one he said NO not with the deal I gave you. Keep in mind he also stated no friends and family discount. I don't even know where you got them! OK again ANOTHER INSULTED by DEVON stated from a friend I referred she bought a $4,000 bed from you he stated people usually spend them so I have no idea how you got them. Again OK so the sales agent said lets go to financing so you can do the 0 interest for a year. DEVON AGAIN said NO and stopped that you can't do that with that deal plus you did not spend enough money I think it was $1600 to which I had to put on a card and pay off. When the sales rep found out I was in Real Estate she said OH HI Nice to meet you! Please refer your clients to me ... I thought really with this customer service I was nothing to her until she thought she could get more business out of me. So Devon agreed to refund me the $149.00 for the broken side table with no USB to which he said or we can't process it tonight just call tomorrow they will send you a check. Needless to say I reluctantly walked back into the store and this point I really was not even comfortable but I wanted my money back. Of course no notes in the file as promised and he was out for the day. Jake stepped up and said he would handle it to which I was appreciative of and I asked about not being able to finance he stated he never heard of that ( Shocker Devon lies) I could tell he did not want to answer the question and the look on his face about just matching the internet as if more could have been done. Also when I was ordering a bed and a family room furniture DEVON told the agent to have half of it shipped through the mail which was odd to as well as the sales person in retro speck I am sure it will be more difficult to deal with being ordered that way verses delivered by the company later to find out that portion would be non refundable the focus knob came in clear. The delivery was set for 8/15 I get a call they said we have both pieces for the bedroom but not the living room stuff is that ok .. I was like sure as I was having out of town company. I asked could it be delivered sooner? NO It can't be delivered until between 2:30 ok they show up at 1:00 with my son there who is over 18 but again things have not been smooth and I was in a meeting so I was unable to go home. Needless to say they did not have the bed side table and the bed had two left feet and they were unable to leave the delivery. Needless to say it is 8/21 and no furniture I am so disappoint! I went to the store last week to complain to the manager Devin (who may as well work for the mob in New Jersey) and he was horrible. No help!!! I asked him, what do I have to do sue you?? WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. When I walked in a rep started helping us and then just left us. We really liked the table so we ended up going back. I have been waiting 1 and half months for a dining table. The day before it was supposed to be delivered they call and say its backordered for 2 more weeks. I called to complain and got hung up on. I called again a lady put me on hold 20 minutes. Someone picked up the line her name was Myra. I then explained my frustration and she told me nothing she could do. I then asked for an email to file a formal complaint. She said they did not have one. I then asked to talk to a manager so I can file a complaint and she said no manger was around. This was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD. If I could give zero stars I would. Due to COVID we were told delivery was backed up which we understood. They have us an 8 week guarantee since our sofa set was not in stock and would have to wait extra longer which he also understood and agreed to. After finally getting a delivery date 2 months after placing the order they decide to call a few days before the delivery date and say they are still waiting on the sofa to be in stock. We chose a new delivery date. A few days before that delivery they call and say that they now have the sofa but now don't have the tv stand. Delivery date was changed again and AGAIN receive the phone call that everything is in stock but now they don't have our coffee table and side tables. At this point after waiting 4 close to 5 months we decided to cancel. Now a month after canceling I still have not received my refund and they keep having me go back and forth saying I have to go to the store to get my refund and the store says I have to call costumer service. Don't waist your time here. Go to a smaller furniture store where they can deliver a lot quicker and prices are lower, with better quality! Very disappointed. read more

I should have read the other reviews before purchasing our sectional from here. Said it would take 2 weeks for our couch and still nothing. My husband calls to see what is going on and the lady from customer service Daisy said a part was broken... said there's a glitch in the system so she can't check what part or the delay on delivery. Place is full of used car sales people the pounce on you and pass you off to another when they don't get a sale they like. We bought a dinning set and after a month they finally called to deliver we were not avaliable at the time they said and told me would be another month to schedule again after arguing they delivered to the store for me to pick up I put a do not assemble order for it due to we live in the foothills and did not want it damaged in transit. Ashley furniture store in Fresno dont care about customers, I purchased 2 years ago over $5,000 worth of furniture always paid on time. They offered me a over $6000 credit, after 2 years I purchased 2 drawers online ,I received one delivered to my house after finding out it was a very cheap wood or laminate wood, I canceled the other chest drawer. I received a bill charging me for both chests, after 3 days of calling online,corporate, the warehouse, synchrony bank etc with no sucess, I went to the store here in fresno ca. The supervisor very rude,unprofessional and disrespectful told me that if I purchased online,he cant do anything to help me fix my bill.I was very upset and left my bill there with him and advised him that I needed to talk to a higher manager,he told me there is no higher manager, so I left my bill with him advised him to fix it and I took off. When I got onto my car and started driving away he walked out, with my bill documents in his hand and threw them infront of his store in the sidewalk,the store he supervises and manages and yelled at me that he doesnt care about my credit and doesnt care about my bill..this happened on September 11,2019. Ashley Home Store refused to deliver a new mattress despite us showing them the video of their delivery driver shoving our product off the back of the delivery truck crunching the box and then REFUSING to leave my house (with my young children home) until we signed off on delivery. We immediately went to the local store to report the situation and request an exchange. After multiple complaints to the local store as well as corporate office, learning that my signature was also forged, they still refuse to rectify the situation. Originally we just wanted an exchange but after 3 weeks of shady practice and lies, I just want a refund and be done with it. Even the mattress manufacturer stated that there's likely interior spring damage. How can this possibly be a business anyone would want to shop at? read more

This place is just awful We walked into the store August 1 picked up a living room set. We put in our order and since then we have slowly been getting all the pieces. first came a area rug and some small table set, of which the tables are missing the feet. which I have called about and have yet been delivered some replacement feet I have had to call multiple times to find out what is going on with our order and every time it is a battle to either get them to answer the phone or even answer my questions. Next we were supposed to get our couches and the table lamps but the couches were again on back order so we only got the lamps which are the only thing that I really like then I had to call them again to find out what happened to our couches come to find out without them telling us that they were on back order for another month then when the day finally came that they were supposed to be delivered only the loveseat was delivered not the couch. again I had to call them and find out what happened to the couch again they told me it was on back order for 2 to 3 weeks. again the day came when it was supposed to be delivered. at least this time we get a call saying it's on back order still for another two weeks. I am so over the store I would return it all in a heartbeat if I wasn't scared of how long that would take. read more

They have the worst delivery service ever. I would give it 0 stars but I didn't have that option. It takes forever to get through to someone and when you do it's routed to the call center which doesn't know what's going on. I've had to reschedule 4 times now. First time they changed it because the truck wasn't coming out to my area at a later time. Second time my sofas didn't get loaded on the truck and when I called they said it wasn't even in stock. Finally I was able to get a hold of someone from the store which I thought scheduled me for Tuesday which again I was told never scheduled. I'm very frustrated. I've taken time off from work and still my sofas that I've been waiting for 3 weeks now still haven't been delivered. Unhappy customer and I do not recommend them. read more

I should have listened to these reviews. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I ordered a Beige Darcy Couch. The delivery team came one hour prior to the stated time frame and called me only when they were already at the front door. We had to rush to clear the room the furniture was going to be placed in. The came into my hk e without shoe protection, on my white rug and beige carpet. They brought the Beige sofa UNPROTECTED, UNCOVERED!! It was dirty with dirt and they told me to clean it. Then I saw the tear it had and I refused to accept it. They asked of I wanted it repaired and obviously I said NO! Why would I want to repair a couch that is brand new? Had the best buying experience ever! The sales staff was helpful, knowledgeable and did everything they could to help me furnish my whole home. The management is excellent! I was dreading buying furniture cause I was already feeling overwhelmed with the colors, finishes and various styles but the staff at Ashley furniture put my mind at ease and helped me with the difficult decisions. If I could give this place a negative star I would. Horrible customer service. Went in and purchased mattress, had to pay the $99 for deliver. When the mattress was delivered noticed it was shorter. Measure another mattress that is supposably the same size and it is not. Went down to the store and told them the problem and they said that they would check with the store manager to see what could be done. Was told they would call me later in the evening or next morning to schedule for someone to go check it out. Well I got a call later in the evening by Vanessa who told me that what I had ordered is what I had received and when I told her it was not. She just continued to repeat herself. Had a horrible experience with Ashley. Although there furniture is beautiful, they are very unprofessional. I purchased a sofa and love seat in the end of May, here it is well over 2 months later and my delivery date has been pushed back 3 times. The worse thing is, I had to call and figure out myself the status of my delivery. Those 3 different days my delivery was promised, I took off from work to be home to accept the furniture and they never showed up. Finally went back in to get a refund and they had no problem giving me my money back. They didn't try to keep my business or make it right. Very disappointed. I will never return. read more

Here's my story if you call good luck i was on hold min20 after hanging up. Corporate office cant assist with refunds you need to deal with the store. After 3 failed attempts to contact the store. I walk in on a saturday lots of friendly staff. I didn't understand why i was on hold so long? Why didnt my call get answered? Anyway walked in asked for a refund it was quick she said i would get a call in 2 days to confirm my refund. Day 5 still waiting for my confirmation call to get my money back. I will take my business else where good luck to you all i hope your experience is not as poor as mine was. Update* 16 days later final got my refund. So disappointed in the store managers rude behavior. We went to the store this morning and was told by a very nice sales lady that any regular price item is 50% off. We found a dining table and some chairs we liked and decided to purchase. When we got back home I looked online and saw the table cheaper on their own site. Also the chairs came in sets of two and according to their discount should have been way less that what we paid for. So we went back to the store and talked to our sales person who said online and in store is different but to go to service desk. I asked service desk based on my purchase order is this sets of two or not. She replied yes. I then told her I am interested in six total but it seems that I was charged for 6 sets. This other gentleman behind her started to explain the difference and told us the price would be for one only. I said no problem then I like to cancel the chairs and just keep the table. A guy from the side started to say things like oh so you want to cancel and pay more online? I said no, I will find chairs at another place. He then told the nice lady that was trying to help me sarcastically to go ahead cancel it so she can go somewhere else and wait 6 to 8 months for delivery. So unprofessional and unnecessary for his comment. I asked him what did you say and he repeated himself. I told him he is unprofessional and I'm already talking to two people and did not need his comments from the side. He then said he is the store manager. I decided to cancel everything all together. He then said yeah in a minute you won't be a customer anymore since you're cancelling. I said I will Yelp you. You have zero customer service. You should be ashamed, Devin!!! Yelp, you should add negative stars to the max of 10 as this is where Ashley's would be. Devin, the General Manager of the Fresno, Ca store is nothing but the head of a house of crooks. They lie, they'll say what you want to hear just so you buy. Once you've signed off on their below-par items delivered, you are screwed. Devin promised a $400 reduction on the amount of our purchase because it took their keystone cops delivery people 3 times to deliver what we bought. It took 3 weeks in the process. The first time, a table was split cracked open, chairs were so uneven you could fall over so we returned them without signing anything. I even had a brief shouting match with the delivery people because they wanted me to sign off so I told them to leave. In all, the 3 rd time was when they finally got it. As I told delivery guys which were actually very nice on the 3rd try, scammer companies eventually meet their end by their business going broke. The word gets out on them and people go elsewhere. When I reached out to their corporate office for help, their response was nill, nada. Just reflective of how Devin is. It is a shame that more and more, America has companies that have no shame to sell crap and do not care what people say of them as long as they grab your money. My husband, 2 year old son and I had an awful experience in this store. The store manager is rude and antagonizing. I ended up crying in the store because of the way he treated us and he said that he would let his supervisor know that we wanted to speak with them and they would get back to us if they felt like it. We called for months to try to speak with his manager and I emailed so many times. No response. The customer service people you speak with on the phone are very nice and seem to care but the management could care less about the customers. Don't give this company your business. Our sales rep explained that "because of the pandemic ", furniture could take as long (worse case scenario) March but more than likely in February . We paid in full for our order . Yesterday I was told by our rep that the furniture would arrive late March and that we would have to wait until the third Wednesday of April to receive our furniture , only because our community is about an hour drive from Fresno. She also added that the order would not be completed. It would include the bedroom set but without the bed, and Dining room table but without the chairs. What the hell is the point of delivering that then? I asked her what a delivery date would be for the entire order complete. Sometime late May, she said . We canceled our order.
