Friendly sales people and great looking furniture. They stayed over past closing by an hour to let me shop. I would give them a higher score but I have had a few problems and have not received my furniture yet. I ordered a complete bedroom set a couple months ago and I still have not received it. Although they have not charged my card yet they keep trying to deliver a partial set. I am unwilling to take it as it is inconvenient to take off work for only part of an order, and they do not have the bed frame which really needs to be delivered before the dresser and mattresses are brought in the room. Although I am happy with my choice, the associate said they did not offer a trundle bed for children which is what I had asked for. When I got home and searched on their internet site and several trundle beds came up. The associates should be better trained and aware of what they sell. If you have good credit they offer 0% percent financing although there are several stipulations. The sells prices that are shown in store are not included in the 0% offer, you must pay full price. They also require you to purchase a insurance plan which is refundable after the furniture is paid for if not used, but it's expensive and only comes back in the form of store credit. You can make payments online for free but they do not take payments in the store, which seems odd as every department store credit card I have had you can pay in the store when you return to shop which makes great business since. This is not the case at this store. Basically they have great furniture and they are very appreciative of their customers; but there are some areas they need to work on as a company to make the sell and experience more smooth for the customer. It is like going to a professional football game where the players do not know what position they are playing and which direction to run the ball. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!!! Several days ago, we went to Ashley Furniture in Longview and paid #936.34 for a recliner. First, the sales staff at the store were indifferent. We said that we wanted a leather manual recliner. The salesman, ROB MARIS, seemed befuddled and then said that he "didn't think" they had a leather manual recliner. We then looked for ourselves with no assistance from the sales staff and a manual leather recliner on the floor. We then paid in full for the recliner - plus $99 for "WHITEGLOVE PREMIUM HOME DELIVERY." It was to be delivered today and we lost a day's pay to stay home for the delivery - but then we got notified that the delivery driver could not find our house, so he just skipped our delivery. We tried to call the Longview store, but it seems that customers cannot call and talk to anyone at the store. Instead, we were subjected to several options on the phone, which eventually connected with some "Customer Service" person who was apparently in the Philippines or some other Asian country. When we asked how we could talk to the Longview store directly, she hung up on us! Tomorrow, we are going to the Longview store and demand a refund. Zero stars is the honest assessment. They rave about their customer service in ads and on the phone while holding for customer service but it is the worst I've experienced. I purchased a dining room set. Paid extra for "white glove" delivery service. The table arrived broken. I phoned customer service immediately and was told another truck would arrive the same day to deliver the replacement. Then I was later told it might be the day after. Neither delivery happened and the latest customer service rep said it was rescheduled for the following Saturday. Night before I receive another recorded message that the table I've already paid for is not in stock and will be another two weeks or maybe longer. I have chairs and no table. Ashley Sales staff are not honest when they tell you it's in stock in their warehouse. Save your sanity and shop - and buy from Blake Furniture. Everything else in my home came from Blake in Gilmer, but they also have several locations including Longview. Their sales staff don't work on commission and they really want you to be happy with their products and they KEEP PROMISES. Blake Furniture's delivery was so careful, quick and on the day promised for a much more reasonable price. read more

After confirming date (repeatedly) and arranging to be home, they no showed. Good luck reaching a person that can help and facilitate the process, they are all in a processing center off site with no one able to communicate with people in the store. We got our bed and mattress from Ashley and had no problem. We went in today after about a week of trying to call. We were looking for a couch that has a pop up bed. We found one in the back that was on clearance however it was missing a pillow and the threading on the pop out was coming undone. Come to find out they had jacked the price up on this to make it look like there was a discount . I understand doing this to sell things but when a whole cushion is missing and it's obviously got defects? Just didn't seem right. But, we continued through the store. The man that had been helping us asked if we had any luck looking around and we told him we had seen some sofas online we really like but they didn't have any in store for us to see. My boyfriend was telling him the different names of the couches and asking questions and the man kept looking behind him and even walked off a little at one point. It made my blood boil. I wanted to tell my boyfriend "let's just leave because he's not even listening to you". Then the man asked if he could check the availability of the sofa we were looking at online and of course his iPad wasn't working. And again, he walked away from us. Finally we just left. We went across the street to Haverty's and got a sectional that exceeded our expectations. And the service was phenomenal! read more

Let me start out by saying I'm not one of those people Who comment negativity constantly on everything. But this experience was so bad that I'm hoping someone higher up from ashley furniture sees this and helps us further than the uneducated people in store could. If I could give ashley furniture zero stars just to leave a review I would! The experience started out amazing, we had a wonderful sales woman named Stacey who helped us find everything we needed... we were set to close on our house at the end of August so we put everything on layaway because of the killer promo they had going on... fast forward to the actual purchase date we find out that Stacey had left a few days prior and she made sure to put us in capable hands... well that WAS NOT THE CASE. Everything was already on layaway, everything was ready for us to purchase and the man who helped us messed everything up and we were in store for TWO hours waiting for him to fix it. That's not even the worse part. The experience in store was probably the easiest of the experience. So my husband and I decided to partially finance and we were informed that we qualified for 12 months no interest special financing and we were like Okay that's great.. weeks later I get an email saying that my 6 months of no interest financing has started and I'm confused so I call the store and they assure me it's just because all my furniture had not been charged since it had not been delivered yet(just wait for that part) so I was at ease and then get another call weeks later telling me that that specific company only does 6 months financing and that I can cancel my order then and there if I wasn't okay with that... LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT I DIDNT KNOW THEIR FINANCING OPTIONS.... I needed the furniture as we had already gotten rid of our old furniture because we put a good chunk of money down already. Well we were told up front the day we purchased that some items were going to take a little longer.. well the first delivery comes and goes and we get some of our items and then the second comes and goes and we get a few more items and then the third and fourth and now we are on the FIFTH delivery almost two months following our purchase date and do not have everything we ordered! That is ridiculous! We bought a dining room set that had tufted chairs and the buttons are already falling off, three out of the four chairs and wobbly and cane that way, the end tables we just received today are also wobbly and I didn't get to check because part of our order was not loaded to the delivery truck so I was focused on that... and last but not least we have had to go back and forth explaining to Ashley furniture that none of the furniture we bought will be delivered to our old address and we still seem to be having communication issues in that area. I spoke with a manager and he was kind and wanted to help and do this and do that but haven't heard from him in weeks now.. he was all talk and if one more thing goes wrong we will have bigger issues with Ashley than a bad review read more

Worst experience ever. This company could care less about their customers. They make huge mistakes and leave you hanging with no furniture. Corporate makes mistakes like canceling my order and my delivery and never bother to inform me. They did this during the holiday and ruined my Christmas. Their response from corporate to me was if I still wanted my furniture that they canceled, I would have to make a 35 mile round trip to reorder but I would not receive my delivery until after the new year! If my company made the mistakes like they did,( not once but twice) I would be so apologetic and would tell my customer that I personally would make sure that they get their merchandise as promised. I will never ever buy anything from Ashley again. They have a sales for 50% on your 2nd item. I bought around $4,000 worth with discount. They tried to charge me $300+ more than what it's supposed to be. I pointed out to them and they got mad at me. So I left. I came back the next day and I asked for another salesman and got the right price. I was promised that I will received my furnitures before certain dates. Which I understand because of the COVID. I was told for sure I will have the dinning set before thanksgiving as the rest before Xmas, NOT. Thanksgiving diner on the floor. The dinning set came a week after but no legs. I had to wait for another week for the legs. So I was promised again that the rest of the furniture will arrive before Xmas, NOT. I have missed work twice to wait for delivery which never came. I purposely left the garage door open n parked my car outside to let them know someone was hone. They lied that they can by but no one was home. I have been sleeping on the floor for over 2 months. I called and complained but no one can doing anything about it. They blamed on the manufacture. I was scheduled for today from 4pm-7pm. I called them at 5:30 and they told me their truck broke down somewhere. I think have to return and cancel my orders. read more

I was in the market for a contemporary headboard for my guest room. I didnt want anything "dramatic" just clean lines and simple tufting. I was met by the salesman Tate who was able to show me the perfect low profile modern headboard. I was happy to hear as he ordered it for me, that it was only a two week turn around for the set up and delivery in home. My husband and I were shopping for a recliner yesterday and stopped at Ashley's, as we have spent thousands of dollars at a different Ashley's location. I was in a wheelchair and my husband is 6'4", so we're not invisible but we appeared to be. We went through the entire store and only one employee even looked in our direction and even then didn't say a word. We made our way to the front of the store to leave and then Mr. Personality approached us and asked if he could help. My husband reminded him that he had totally ignored us previously and his excuse was that he was helping another customer. So he couldn't have acknowledged us and said someone (or he) would be with us soon? This is the second time this has happened and it will be the last. It's very clear that Ashley's in Longview doesn't care about their customers. We went to another furniture store where we were greeted immediately, every employee acknowledged us, we found exactly what we wanted, and will be shopping there in the future. If I could give 1/2 a star I would. First, bought a sofa and loveseat to be delivered over a month later, purchased the end of Jan and to be delivered the end of March, while waiting for that to be delivered purchased a dining table set. The dining table set was delivered a week before the couch was to be delivered. The chairs wobbled bad like one leg was to short. I called the salesperson who told me to "call me with any issues and I will fix them because I am the person who usually does that" when we purchased the items but guess what? now he gives me a number to call. I called it, I was put on hold for 20 minutes just to be told someone will call me in 48 hrs to schedule a time to come out to fix the chairs.....it's been over 48 hrs and still awaiting that call to get my chairs fixed. Today the couch and loveseat were to be delivered but guess what the loveseat came but no couch. Called the salesman who said call the number again, of course. Called the Assistant Mgr of the store who said he would call back but it has been 4 hrs ago and no call back yet...hmm. I called the number which by the way is supposedly for the Guest Response Team. The lady on the phone told me the couch wasn't in....what it has been over a month I said and you called me to schedule the delivery so how can it not be in. She said she couldn't help me but they would call me when it came in. I have purchased from Ashley in the past, actually in Indiana, great experience is why I went there again but this time in Texas I can honestly say I will never purchase an Ashley product again and hopefully I will get my couch and get my dining chairs fixed before I request my money back. Update - it's the next day around lunch time and the Assistant Mgr never called back. My husband called this time and spoke to the Store Mgr who stated the couch will be delivered 2 days from now. Not quite the resolution I was seeking as the couch needs to be delivered today, not 2 days from now, maybe they need to pay me the $139.99 delivery fee I paid them for me having to arrange my schedule to be home for the delivery. MY son needed a couch for his apartment, found one at Ashley's IN LONGVIEW. We were not told until after he found one he really wanted that we would have to pick it up in Tyler. We could have opted for delivery but that was $100 and my son was on a budget. We have 3 trucks in our family why would we want it delivered. So Our only choice was to have it ordered and go pick it up in Tyler. If I wanted to go to Tyler I would have drove to Tyler and shopped there and probably at a different store. There is no sign outside that's says that the Longview store is only a showroom floor and that there is no furniture available to you there. you can only pick it out there. Then you option is to have it delivered which they charge you or drive to Tyler and pick it up. Now in 2 weeks I have to take around 3 hours of my day and go pick up furniture that the store in Longview is only 5 minutes away from my sons apartment. I was very upset when I left and I will never shop Ashley's again. If all your furniture goes to Tyler then delivery should be free. read more

We have bought several pieces of furniture from the Longview, TX location and have always had a positive experience. Last year we bought a very nice leather sectional and also the $600 warranty that is supposed to cover anything and everything that could possibly happen. Stacy Freeman was our sales associate and she was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of. She went over all of the details including the warranty information. She was very knowledgeable and made us feel at home. When our furniture arrived the sofa was damaged a little bit. One of the delivery guys said he could just color over the damaged spot with a special marker, but I was not going to accept that seeing as though it was brand new, so they exchanged it for me with no problem. We also had bought a new dining table. It arrived with no issues and is very nice. The sectional is comfortable and looks nice in my living room. However, fast forward to a year later and we noticed some peeling spots on my husband's recliner on the loveseat. The material is called "durablend" and is supposed to be Ashley's top of the line stuff other than all leather. We were told it would not peel or flake. (I had asked about it because we had some similar stuff in the past and it peeled. However, it was not the durablend.) We knew we had purchased the warranty, so we called the number provided on the warranty paperwork. (not the Longview store) We spoke with about 3 different people at different times and no one really seemed to know what to do. It was not a very pleasant experience. We were first told it was not covered because it was peeling and peeling was not covered. Then we were told that it was covered and they would replace the loveseat, but that that particular piece was no longer being sold by Ashley so we would have to pick something totally different that does not match the rest of it. We were not happy, but honestly did not figure we had much of a choice seeing as though the other pieces (couch and wedge) were not damaged. My husband asked one lady he talked to that if he damaged the other two pieces would they be covered then and the lady said "well I'm not telling you to do that, but..." We felt like we were being punished for being honest people. It was not right at all to charge us $600 for a warranty and say it covers everything when in fact it doesn't. I also think the people in the guest response team or whoever we were talking to need to be trained better because clearly none of them knew what was going on. Now I'm sure there may be some who are good. I guess we just spoke with ones that were new and or something. No idea. We decided we just had to accept it and move on though as neither I nor my husband felt like dealing with it anymore at that point. We then went to the Longview store to make our new selection. (As we were instructed to do) We explained to our sales associate Stacy what was going on and she was very upset. She agreed with us that it was not right at all to make us pick something that did not match. She also agreed it was not right for the company to offer a warranty that supposedly covers everything and then not honor it. Stacy was very upset because she tries very hard to take care of her customers and she felt like the whole situation reflected badly on her. We appreciated how much she cared for us and our situation, but we assured her we did not think badly of her whatsoever. It was the company's fault. She said she had had a similar situation with another customer and that she had been able to work with corporate to get the issue resolved and the people were able to replace their whole sectional. She immediately emailed whoever it was she had dealt with before and tried her best to help us and make sure we were treated fairly. The whole process took a few weeks, but Stacy went above and beyond to help us and we wound up getting full store credit for our entire sectional. With our store credit we were not only able to replace our sectional but we also had enough to pay for almost an entire new bedroom suite with the exception of the mattress and a few hundred dollars. If it was not for Stacy and her kindness and determination to do what was right and take care of her customers we would have had to have mismatched stuff. I am very grateful for Stacy's help and I more than likely will not ever buy furniture from anywhere else but our local Ashley store and from Stacy! We are 100% pleased and can't wait for our new stuff to arrive. read more

This store is horrible! I purchased furniture in November 2019. I used in house financing. I was NEVER told that this was with Rent a Center. If I wanted to pay Rent a Center prices I would have went to Rent a Center! In January 2020 when I complained about this, the lady in the office spoke with her manager and I was told that I would only need to pay the balance of the furniture at that time without the Rent a Center charges. So when this Covid stuff started the office personnel changed. The payment total went back to the total with the Rent a Center charges due to the new lady knew nothing about this deal or how to post my payments correctly. Now the original lady has come back and both ladies are working there. The original lady realized my account was not being dealt with the appropriate way. The new lady has to contact the new district manager to see if they can still honour the amount that I was given by the old district manager. I have been waiting while getting texts and emails every day stating my payments are Past due! This whole experience with them has been horrible!!! I will never shop there again. I will let everyone I know how I was treated by them. The sales men were awful as well!!! read more

BED BUGS ON NEW MATTRESS AND BOX SPRING SET PURCHASED AND DELIVERED BY ASHLEY'S..... My mother and I were shopping for her a new bed. When we initially entered Ashley's we were totally ignored...as we were leaving a very nice sales person (Stacey) assisted us in my mother's purchase. The bed and mattress were delivered about two weeks later. My mother begin to experience whelps on her body...we went to the doctor and the whole nine yards. Finally we had an exterminator come out and discovered that the NEW MATTRESS AND BOX SPRINGS had an infestation of bed bugs. I call the furniture store and spoke with Crystal who stated that "we don't deliver mattresses with bed bugs" and forwarded me to the customer care 800 team where I spoke with Raven who stated that "our mattresses are delivered wrapped in plastic". I stated that "I don't care if they come wrapped in gold, they were delivered with bed bugs". She placed me on hold and return and stated that "I am sorry, there is NOTHING that we will be able to do". After reading all these reviews I noticed that the common theme is customer service and that Ashley does not care about after the sale. I found this to be true.....TAKE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY TO THE MANY OTHER FURNITURE STORES THAT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AND AFTER THE SALE OF THE PRODUCTS. read more

I'm only giving them one star because not giving them any wasn't an option. They have the worst customer service skills. I ordered a bed for my daughter. They came and delivered it and put it together and as they were about to leave I wanted to look at it. I noticed the wood was cracked and they didn't even install all the bolts and nuts to keep it together. I told them it was damaged and they were going to leave without saying a word. They then ordered replacement parts, they came today and didn't bring the bolts and nuts to keep this bed together. I now have a half together bed, still waiting on the pieces and they are not telling me that have a no return policy. They are rude and disrespectful, have no common sense and are horrible. If I could give them less than a negative 1 then I would. We were new to Texas, needed a new bed. We looked around and found a new bed on sale at Ashley in Longview. The "gentleman" that was helping us was AWFUL. He had a cold or something. He had mucus dripping from his nose! And oh, yes. I am serious when I say dripping!! He would wipe his nose with his hand and put it all over the furniture including mattresses. He looked absolutely bored that we were in his store. We left twice but came back to purchase that bedframe. We signed the Acceptance Now "contract" and had it worked out so that the bed would be paid off in less than the allotted time. Apparently $32 can take a $500 bed and turn it into a $4000 bed. This is so ridiculous. We were not made aware of how much it would jump if the deadline was missed. When we signed the contract, we made sure and went over with the sales person that the bed would be paid off before the allotted time was up. Oh, yes, he said it will be paid off. BULL *^$*()&!!! When we went to pick up the frame ( after waiting for a week for it to be broken down from the showroom floor), the same "gentleman" was there to "help us." Ok, help us by standing there and complaining the whole time! We loaded the bed and that jack!@# shut the door on us before we could even put a strap on the bed to drive away. We were behind the store in the dark. What great customer service there! I will never again set foot inside this store. I will go with and sleep on the floor before going there. My family and friends have all been aware and I tell them always to STAY AWAY!!! When we moved to Texas, we were amazed at the Southern hospitality until we went to Ashley furniture and received this! We know that not all of Texas is like this! Thank God. read more
