They have a completely different return policy for "on-line" vs. in-store purchases. If you buy something online, you get to return or exchange your items. However, if you buy in-store you are stuck with the furniture no matter what. Talk about shady business practice and a terrible customer experience. AVOID THIS CRIMINAL PLACE AT ALL COSTS. We spent about $6,000 for our new home and literally everything had sometthing wrong with it. They delivered separate pieces scattered over a full month. Seriously, who delivers 1/3 of a couch and then the rest of it three weeks later! The bedroom mirror had a crack in it, sent it back. The bedroom night stand had a crack in the wood, had to send it back. The dining room table was delivered "complete," but the leaf was missing. Trying to explaIn how we did not have the leaf was a nightmare! 5 calls and 3 visits to the store, they finally sent a new table. The dining room bench was missing padding...three weeks to get a new one. Dining room chairs were very poor quality and thread coming off. The couch squeaks when we sit on it...sorry. Don't even think about returning something...because you CAN'T! Even though we were told item exchange was an option, it's not! The employees in the store are nice...the customer service team that handle the incoming calls could CARE less that we were having issues. We just moved across the country, now to put up with this hassle! Forget it...avoid this place like the plague. read more

At best they should've been sold at a secondhand store for a piece I was supposed to have purchased in new condition is scratched up the back panel is busted I've tried calling the number listed at the stores website and called the salesman that give me a card with his number for over a week I've gotten no return phone calls from the store. The customer service line just keeps telling me to call back I've asked to speak with a manager and they keep saying that somebody will call me they never have this is literally been the worst experience ever I would not recommend using the store. The worst customer service experience I've ever had. The sales associate lied about her "title" by calling her self the manager, lied about our payment options and completely screwed up the order. It took almost 2 months to get the right pieces after being told it would take 2 weeks. The actual store manager has no idea what he's doing and doesn't care about making it right, instead he tells you he isn't going to do anything. I also spoke to the regional manager... she was just as awful, she coached the store manager on how to "get rid of me". After all of this I told them I just wanted a refund and they wouldn't even honor that. I've been to other Ashley Furniture stores and they've been great, this one is is the exception. I have my fingers crossed that the close it soon so others don't go through what I did and my neighbor did. read more

We ordered 2 of the exact same counter stools, one arrived damaged and the other was fine. The delivery team took the damaged chair with them and left us with 1 stool. Weeks of back and forth went by to get our replacement stool and when it finally arrived it was a different shade of brown and a completely different back height. Now they are refusing a return and refund of our money. As an industry professional, I am taking my clients elsewhere. They sell you over priced items, charge you a shipping fee and then take three months to deliver your products. Managers take their time trying to give you a refund and then roll their eyes at you when you're upset about the 20 minute wait to give you a refund. Not worth your tome or hard earned money. My husband and I bought a couch back in April that we saw online. When it came in it was very uncomfortable and we requested to exchange it. Originally the sales person at the store said that they do not exchange for that reason and only when I mentioned doing a return they approved an exchange. Now it's September and we still do not have the exchanges couch. They have attempted to deliver the new one THREE times now. The first time they brought the wrong couch and the last two times they brought a damaged one. The sales people at the store have been helpful and I don't blame them but their delivery company that they were with is TERRIBLE. At this point we are so frustrated and just want our couch. Garbage Service. Poor Quality. We bought a couch and love seat, electric operation for reclining. In 6 days from delivery, the footrest on one side of love-seat stopped operating - in the OPEN position! So far one star as they continue to change the delivery date of the furniture we purchased on 19 January. First delivery date was 12 Feb. Then I was told only the love seat would arrive on that date. I stopped by the store to confirm delivery date for the sofa and she said 25 MARCH! I told her I wanted to cancel the whole thing and then she said she could deliver the sofa on 26 February. I told her to cancel delivery of the love seat and make the delivery for both on 26 February. If they change the date again I will cancel the whole order and fight them over the 10% restocking fee. Mind you, my husband and I were NOT greeted until about 5 to 8 minutes after coming in which was the first sign. The worst! I feel bad for the employees at this location as they have no power or information. Thousands of dollars spent 7 months ago and only half the furniture here. Every time you call it's a new excuse as to why you furniture hasn't been built yet. We bought the furniture due to our newborn arrival and here we are thinking about having to buy new couches until our new ones arrive, UNACCEPTABLE! Of course corporate does nothing to soften this blow. We were told of a 6 week delivery and now we are about to hit 28 weeks!! The quality has also declined horribly, doors get stuck, drawers don't close all the way and the reclining chair feels cheap. Extremely disappointed! Craig Gilmore was great in helping us select a few accent pieces for our home. Even willing to price match competitors! Update: We were happy with the initial treatment while purchasing and in store. However, after waiting for 4 weeks (being told initially it would take 7-10 days) for an accent chair to be shipped directly we called the store. We were told the chair would arrive within a few days. Chair never shows. Called store multiple times and was placed on hold for long periods never getting through to anyone. Finally at six weeks we were told our chair had been delivered to the store and we could come pick it up ourselves. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED TO OUR HOUSE. To add to that, they said the chair had been there a while and they had no way of getting it to our house. We went to the store to pickup the chair and spoke with a manager, Kathy, who apologized for the inconvenience and said she would refund us for our troubles. After two weeks, and still no refund, multiple calls were made to the store, messages left, with no return call. When asked what hours the Manager would be on shift, an attempt to call during those hours and even show up at the store to talk to them were unsuccessful as they had always either just went "into a meeting" or "left for the day". Overall, the experience was disappointing. It seems as though we would have purchased many more items from the store if the customer service was better. Our experience was that the staff initially showed the willingness to help, then as soon as the sale was made, no one would answer phones, returns calls, locate items, direct ship them to the right address, or compensate for the inconvenience of hauling your own furniture and waiting months to receive the items. I am very disappointed with Ashley's delivery and customer service. I placed my order mid February and STILL have not received my dining table. I paid for my furniture in full, and was told by my sales associate Doris Orman my furniture would be delivered to my home in two weeks.. Now it's approaching over a month, and still no table. Ashley has rescheduled my delivery THREE times. They failed to notify me of each delivery change, until I had to call the store myself to inquire about the order. The company refuses to offer any delivery compensation for my inconvenience. I wanted to cancel my order and take my business elsewhere, however I was threatened with a 10% restocking fee for a piece of furniture that never even made it off the warehouse floor. No hello etc ok "looking for a sectional" we have a some but maybe take a look online you can look in your price range and input your room dimensions wow ok. I bought a recliner on July 17th. We were told it would be six to eight weeks before delivery. That was acceptable. At eight weeks after no updates I called and was told it would not be delivered until November. That would be two more months away. That was not acceptable. I requested my money back and was told it could only be done through their manager who was not there and only on Tuesdays. So I waited until Tuesday and requested my money back. I was told the manager wasn't working that day. After much conversation over the next two days I've been told it will be 7 to 10 days. So i don't feel this stir is reputable. read more

We got the Presidents' Day financing promotion and Debra ran our credit, she said we would receive 2 cards, but I just received a 3 credit card in the mail. So they are also liars here to. The company has definitely lost a future customer and I would have remained a customer if everyone would of been 100% honest. I've made several purchases with them. and had the hardest time to have deliveries made effectively and efficiently. and for them to work with the customer.. I recommend that no one purchase anything ever again from Ashley Furniture. It got so bad that I decided not to keep the table of my recent purchase and told them to remove it from my account.. No one accepts accountability. and is willing to go the extra mile for customers that have made multiple purchases with them.. Ashley Furniture will tell you. a different story over and over. about what can be done and how that you can receive whatever you want just whatever it is to close the sale. But when it comes time for them to hold up their end of the bargain they dropped the ball and put it on someone else as if it's not their responsibility whether it's on the phone whether it's at the store or in the distribution Department. Ashley Furniture does not care about its customers know their satisfaction or their repeat purchases.. Ashley Furniture does not understand issue resolution or push for issue resolution. What I opted to cancel the order instead of trying to talk me out of it or what they could do to rectify the situation and quickly moved to removing the order from my purchase list. From beginning to end this was a great experience. I was immediately greeted but with no pressure tactics. Sherrie who was the associate who helped me was fantastic! She gave me the layout of the store once she knew I was searching for a sofa. She let me browse and checked in on me periodically and when I was ready to talk it was if she appeared almost immediately of of thin air. She was knowledgeable, courteous and super helpful! The store was easily navigated and not cluttered as many furniture stores can be. The selection was great and the prices better. I have been waiting on a coffee table since before Halloween. They pushed back the delivery date four times now! The last time they were supposed to deliver on a Saturday. I changed my plans to make sure I was home because I've been waiting on this table forever! They NEVER showed up and never called! They said the would refund me my delivery charge two weeks ago, and I still haven't received my money back. I told them today if it couldn't be delivered by Christmas I wanted to cancel the order.
