His behavior was rude, disrespectful, and downright unprofessional. On my first visit, I was ready to buy a dresser priced around $1,100, but noticed over $500 in unexplained fees on the receipt. I told Mr. Young I'd come back later and left. My wife later ordered the dresser online instead. A few days later, I returned--not about the dresser, but to exchange a table we had previously bought from him for the same one in a different color. Mr. Young immediately brought up my earlier visit and accused me of being "rude" just for walking away. He repeatedly said he "shouldn't even be helping me" and made a public scene in front of other employees and the store manager, who stood by and didn't say a single word throughout the entire incident. Mr. Young even showed something on his iPad to his coworkers while looking at me, and they laughed--completely unprofessional. When I tried to end the interaction, he told me to take a picture of him, grabbed his nametag, and said I could go ahead and file a complaint because he didn't care. His exact words were, "This isn't customer service--this is sales." The entire experience felt hostile and retaliatory. The lack of professionalism from both Mr. Young and the store manager was shocking. When we later visited the Franklin Ashley store, they immediately offered 25% off everything and treated us with respect--something Mt. Juliet could learn from. If he's going to make that big of a scene simply because I changed my mind about a purchase, he needs to get thicker skin if he's going to work in this industry. It's no wonder this location only has 1.5 stars--it's clearly well deserved.

After reading some reviews, I was a bit hesitant because people said when things went wrong, no one helped them once it was delivered...but their prices are good, so we figured we'd take a chance. We walked into the store and were greeted right away. They allowed us to walk around and take our time. We didn't have someone following us at a distance; they allowed us to look and were there when we had questions. After we decided, we went back and forth on a few details. Noah helped us and he was very nice and Billy (the owner) came and introduced himself. Long story short, a piece was left off our delivery. My husband and I went back and forth on the piece (he wanted it, I didn't), but we decided to go ahead and get it. When we received our delivery, it was not there. We looked at our receipt and it specifically said it was without that piece of the couch. We couldn't get ahold of Billy, our delivery drivers left (who were awesome) and we figured we weren't going to get it. We had absolutely no recourse because our receipt did not include that item, which we didn't notice until delivery day. Once the guys got back, they talked to Billy, called us and said it was absolutely ours, so we came to pick it up. The integrity Billy showed is beyond appreciated and noticed. From start to finish, everything they said they would do, they honored... not only in price and delivery date, but even with a small slip-up. We will 100% come back. Highly recommend.
