What a great experience from start to finish. I don't write reviews that often but wanted to let people know that if they are in the market for furniture or just some cute decorations then stop in Ashley in Quakertown. I hate when I walk into a furniture store and the salespeople won't leave you alone. When we stopped in Michelle introduced herself and asked if she could help us, I told her we would prefer to look on our own. We told her what we were looking for and she brought us over to the area we should be looking in. She periodically checked on us which was great because after some shopping my boyfriend and I realized he liked a hard, uncomfortable sofa lol and I liked a more comfortable, relaxing sofa. We asked if there was something in the middle and she showed us some great options. It was crowded that day with orders at the front desk. I thought we were going to be there forever but the manager or at least I think she was the manager kept the line moving smoothly answering a few questions we had and got us to the right place to do financing....I think her name was Tracey, hope I got that right. Anyway, the furniture came and we love the way it looks and feels. Thanks ladies for the great experience. We'll be back when we are ready to decorate the next room. read more

Horrible store! Bought a bedroom set months ago and they called two monts ago to tell me it was in. I was not ready and asked if they can hold a week or so and they said no problem. When I called back they told me they gave my set away to someone else! I am still waiting and they told me the 10th would be the latest and now I called and they now say the 20th! Who knows when I will get it, they just keep lying to their customers! Never will buy from them again! Go to just furniture they got my brothers same set in two weeks and cheaper! read more

Walked in and walked out! Pounced on as soon as we walked in the door by an older woman with big glasses. Felt so uncomfortable by her approach we didn't want any more of it and didn't stay for even 5 seconds. That has to stop. It's so unappealing. Ask if help is needed. If not buzz off until we need you. Take that advice to heart because 90% of the public feel that way. I know you work in commission and I'm not interested in giving you any. Not today not ever. The sales people were fine but have no pull on the delivery experience which was HORRIBLE. Our wooden chairs sat in rain for 25 min they brought them in with no attempt to dry sliding them across the house on our newly refinished floors after asking 6 times to please pick them up and not slide. They didn't ask to use our door lock which was sensitive and just used it breaking it off the hinge with no apology or recognition. EVERY chair was damaged with chips or stains so I was directed by the store to send back. They then became upset and hostile about it huffing a lot. On top of that replacement chairs for something that was 100% their fault will be an additional 6-8 weeks on top of the 6-8 weeks we initially waited. And someone else's delivery sat out I. The rain the whole time they were at our house. We were directed to email which we did and absolutely NOTHING was done about it. We have used Ashley exclusively for about 10 years but can say we will not be back. I'd rather pay more for better service and respect as well as accountability read more

My experience with Ashley furniture was horrible to say the least. I ordered a headboard months ago and was told the delivery team would connect the headboard to my frame if I provided the brackets. They showed up and couldn't figure out how to connect them together. after bending the brackets, I bought , they left. I called the store and decided to just buy the footboard and side rails to make assembly easier. they ordered the bed pieces and said they would make it a priority for the inconvenience, and I would have this within thirty days. was later told after thirty days it would be six more weeks. I called and complained and received a phone call two minutes later from Greg the store manager stating he would have delivery set up by the end of the week. Never heard back from him. A month later I called again and was told ten more days the side rails should be in. Requested my money be returned and that they pick up the headboard without being charged. Was told there would probably be a pick-up and restocking fee. I have bought furniture from Ashley in the past but never again. Mark read more

Terrible customer service, they seemed bored and unwilling to help, maybe cause it was a sunday afternoon or we caught them on a bad day. We went to purchase a dining room set, very helpful showing us around but the positives end there. Gave us a different printout than the set we bought, couldnt find us in the system, overcharged us for the set, (discovered the lower price during online search when we got home) and when we spoke to the manager she said we can honor the difference AFTER you pay in full and take delivery (10-16 weeks!), cancelled order immediately. Found a way better deal, half the price and a 2 week delivery at Raymour and Flanagan which ironically purchases some of their furniture from Ashley's. read more

I guess you get what you pay for. Lackluster service.. had to constantly look for a salesperson to assist. He would get up from looking at his phone when I asked a question, but no suggestions on my price points. I asked where the console tables were and he told me to go and look behind all of the sofas...again while looking at his phone. I purchased a large canvas painting and he just sat it on the floor.. no wrapping, no cushioning to put it into my car.. just left it there without assistance. read more

Delivery is SO bad. They initially gave us a date, and then *whoops lol we forgot to ACTUALLY schedule it.* We've been sitting here for well over an hour past our delivery window. Called the absolute WORST customer service people at the number they provided. There's still 3-4 more stops. Can they give me a time estimate? Nope! Will I be sitting here til midnight? Possibly. Glad I had to cancel my plans for a mediocre couch and paid for delivery that is an absolute joke. Update: the truck is no broken and it may or may not be delivered sometime in the near future. That delivery fee is sounding more and more like fraud to me! read more

We walked into the store and were greeted by Jordyn. Their selection of furniture has vastly improved over the years and we were pleasantly suprised with the showroom (it had been quite a few years since we had been there). Jordyn was a newer salesman but was extremely friendly and helpful in driving our purchase at Ashley today. We were not pressured into anything and our questions were handled immediately. I have never seen a furniture store care less about its customers than Ashley's. Scratched bed. Workers came without tools. Accent table wasn't put together correctly. Kitchen table had been messed up and they tried to fix it and give it to us as brand new. NEVER NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS STORE!! They do not care about you. There are better furniture stores out there that will give you great furniture for your money. read more

Worst customer experience ever. I would rather pay 10x more than ever buy anything from here ever again. This place is no better than a scam artist. I payed in full for a bed and chair on September 12. It's now Dec 21 and I still don't have my furniture. Every time they give me a new date for my order to be in they miss it and have never notified me o had to call them after the delivery date was missed. They have missed the delivery date 4 times now and when I called yesterday (Dec 20) to check on my order again I was told it is now scheduled to be sometime in January. I asked what they can do to try and it right since they keep missing the delivery date and that it will now be 4 months since I payed for it. They response I got was there is nothing they can do or offer abs the dates are just estimates. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they will just tell me the same thing and would not get the manager. Stay away from this store unless you never want what you ordered. read more

We bought a sofa, loveseat and end table. The sofa and loveseat were delivered without any concerns. However, the table i purchased had to be picked up at the store to avoid shipping fees. Once I got it home and removed from the box, there were noticeable defects. The store referred me to a customer service number. I was asked if I inspected the boxed end table prior to leaving the door. No, why would I feel the need to do that! The customer service dept then told me I'd have to return the table to a warehouse in Philly for resolution. Why should I have to drive three hours to Philly to return a defective product? Beware, the store wants nothing to do with you once they have your money and customer service police's are anything but customer friendly! read more

This store and the staff, customer service is AWFUL. Stay away. We waited for over 6 months for furniture that we were told would be delivered in a month, 2 tops. We in the end had to cancel it. The staff never called with updates and the only way we knew that status was by us having to call. The staff showed no care and were very very cold. I purchased a sofa with chaise lounge back in June 2022 and the in-store experience was very good. However, once I received the furniture (three weeks later), there were some major defects that needed to be addressed and repaired. Over the course of 5 weeks, I received the material for the arm repair and the fiber fill for the understuffed cushions, but I'm still waiting on the other piece of material for the chaise lounge that had glue stains. All in all, I would not return to purchase furniture with this dealer because the communication has been choppy and 5 weeks later, my sofa still isn't close to being repaired. Very disappointed because the staff at the store was wonderful. read more

We went in to look at a couch that we saw online. Unfortunately it wasn't what we wanted. Our sales associate Jordyn listened to what we were looking for. We have a narrow living room so we were somewhat limited to what we can get without it looking too "crowded". She showed us a few others and then pointed us to the PERFECT sofa that was functional and comfortable!! can't wait to get this for the holidays to enjoy quality family time. This was My first purchase at Ashley Home Store. And unfortunately I cannot recommend them. Despite paying a large shipping fee (almost $600!) delivery people say nothing was boxed of course it gets damaged in the truck. I've now had multiple deliveries with significant damages to the furniture each time. The store puts you in the middle with the delivery people as they are not on the same page about process. Customer Service is in no way helpful. They give you the severe runaround and finally when you get a phone number for guest services that works, they tell you when you get nowhere & request a manager that "Okay I'll cross my fingers that in 5 to 7 days someone will call you." I requested a confirmation of my request for a manager & they won't give anything like that. The furniture isn't good quality. I'm seeing damages to certain pieces even now. I will not be purchasing from this company again & i advise you steer clear as well. I have never had this type of experience purchasing furniture before. If i dont get resolution soon it will all be going back. Save yourself the headache & purchase elsewhere. UPDATE: the furniture finally got delivered. 3rd attempt and a day later than promised. I was never notified of the change and had to reschedule contractors. It was also covered in a glue that i had to rub until my fingers heated it up to try and loosen it away little by little. This furniture is not high quality enough to use any cleaners on it. Took a long time. Guest Services finally got back to me after calling multiple times and contacting below as recommended. THINGS GOT WORSE. Awful treatment, they offered $200 in a gift card that i would have to go there and get. As if i would EVER shop there again in my life. We told them we want to return it all we were so aghast at the way they operate, but they said we signed a contract that once we accept its on us. Feels VERY scammy. Nothing was boxed in the truck & delivery guys said they have to buy their own blankets to try and protect furniture as company wont help. Why did i pay almost $600 for shipping? Its a shame they wouldn't refund shipping. They said "we had to come 3 times." as an excuse. As if thats the customers fault. STEER CLEAR. I am so thankful we didnt furnish any other rooms with this place--almost did that day. Purchased elsewhere and already delivered in one shot fast & perfect with no issues and fantastic service. I purchased these items and was assured that the items would arrive in 2-8 weeks. At the most, 10 weeks. However I was then contacted and told that the furniture would not arrive until 11/14, which is 11 weeks past the date. Additionally I called and learned that the particular sectional I want is on backorder until 2021 and I am not prepared to wait any longer. I attempted to cancel but received no response. I have also seen many quality issues on the Ashley Furniture Complaints Facebook page which makes me less than assured I'll receive a good product. Stopped in to browse the store on their advertised Sale Of The Year.We liked a sofa with a price tag of 1200$ but a discount of 50% We purchased it for $600 When I returned home I wanted to check on the dimensions via a internet search only to find the exact sofa At 399$ just down the street.Other locations in the area had it also at considerably lower pricing.Needless to say I returned for a refund the next morning.BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Terrible experience with delivery. First they tried to take our sofa that was clearly too large to enter the elevator into our apartment. I asked if he had the measurements of the furniture prior to trying to shove it into the elevator. He said no and then proceeded to shove it into our apartment breaking the exit sign. Then he tried to shove it into the elevator that clearly was to small. After that I let him know that it would probably be best if they just used the staircase. He then said that they will not take any thing up more then 36 stairs. When on our contract says on line 2 section F anything higher than the 3rd floor (which is the floor we live on) Would need to be delivered via elevator. Then it was a back and forth from their manager to the customer service and the store where we purchased it from. We got different answers from each person we spoke to. Then the delivery person stated that he would do it if we paid him directly. Then he quickly changed his mind after we mentioned his offer to one of the customer service reps. I will say that Jackie the manager of this location was by far the most helpful. After about an hour and a half going back and fourth about how to get our sofa into our apartment we gave up and had them just start taking our other products into our home. while we tried to figure out what to do. But then after all that, we received our other item broken! This most likely occurred from the delivery guys using too much force to get things to fit in the elevator because they refused to use the stairs or how it was stored in the truck! ( which was a mess I'm sure others peoples items were damaged in there with their lack of knowledge on hoe to do their job)I'm in shock at how terrible this experience was. We spent 3k on our furniture and this is not the quality we were expecting or paid for. So unhappy with our service and the delivery process that cost us 300 dollars and it non refundable along with the furniture we purchased. Never order furniture from here unless you want a complete run around on your shipping dates. We ordered a full set of furniture and thankfully that got to us in about 10 weeks. We are now waiting on an entertainment center which has several pieces to it. One week we are waiting on one item the next week it is gone and we are waiting on another piece... 12 weeks later and now other pieces are missing.... wow. Apparently they are taking our pieces to fill other orders and here we sit. I will never buy from this company again !! read more

Had a $2400 dining table delivered. The delivery guy put a screw through the bottom cabinet. The store was indifferent and told me to call their customer "care" department on Monday. Upon calling they told me "somebody will contact you in 7-10 days." That is NOT acceptable. That's LOUSY customer "service". You can take 10 days to do the repairs or order parts... but it's NOT OK TO TAKE 10 DAYS TO EVEN START THE PROCESS AND ORDER PARTS!! You're people damaged the table and tried to hide it!! read more

I am giving one star because my salesperson was pleasant. I had to deal with tight quarters, so size of the sofa was paramount. I measured the couch and went home to remeasure space. Upon return to formally order the couch, they backpeddaled on the previously discussed price. Once that was settled, I ordered it for delivery a week later... great. I measured multiple times, however the measurements did not include the wrapper that came on the couch which was unable to be delivered upon arrival. Although the delivery personnel were also pleasant, there was a major language barrier and they were unable to maneuver the still wrapped couch up the staircase. Believe what you hear about Ashley. I begrudgingly went anyway because we were in need of a sofa. My $250+ mistake for non-refundable delivery fee and 25% restock, lesson learned. Dont make the same mistake, look elsewhere. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I scheduled an order to be delivered on 7/10 from 10-4pm. At 3pm, I was told they had to cancel the delivery due to 'truck issues'. We rescheduled the delivery for 7/15. I was told the window of delivery would be 9am-1pm so I blocked out my work schedule for that window. At 10:50am, I received a text message that my delivery would arrive in 10 minutes. No one arrived. I called guest services, and was told they sent the wrong truck and would be out shortly. I called again at 1pm asking for a status update, and was told as soon as possible - the status indicated it was out for delivery. I called again at 3:15pm, and was told they would 'get to when they get to it at the end of their route'. When I asked when that would be, I was told 'We don't know. Some time later I guess". Waited until after 11pm, no delivery, no phone call. Called the following morning to see what happened, and they "don't know" why it wasn't delivered or where my furniture is. But they think they 'may' be able to deliver it sometime in August, but they first have to find where my furniture is. read more

My friend is furnishing a home and a business so we have shopped her numerous times for beds, sofas, tables and accessories. The price is right and they deliver for free and often very quickly.
