DO NOT BUY MATTRESS FROM ASHLEY. We bought a Firm King Size mattress in June and within 2 weeks it was sagging and after a few weeks they sent a serviceman out and I received a call today saying it's not sagging enough call us back in 30 days and we'll send someone out again. So they know it's going to keep sagging and meanwhile we get little sleep on this bed and wake up with backaches. Poor poor service. Don't waste your money there. We are probably going to be over $1000 for just the mattress. Now we have to wait for it to sag another 1/2 inch before they will do anything if they do. I don't believe a word they say. read more

fraudulent misrepresentation of furniture protection plan with gbs!!! don't buy it! i purchased a bed two years ago and paid $249 for the gbs protection plan. the bed collapsed and it is not covered under the plan. so the plan and bed are basically worth crap. ashley furniture leads you to believe that the plan covers damages to the furniture but it does not provide you with the specifics as to what it does not cover. according to gbs the plan does not cover if the furniture breaks but only if there is a scratch to the bed. gbs is a farce and fraud; you call in and they have no record of your account. it takes 5-7 days to simply register an account. if you ask for a manager, there is never one available to speak with. this is a horrible experience, and i will not purchase anything from ashley furniture ever again. organizations that sell these empty warranties should be considered for a class action lawsuit. read more

On May 22 I went to Ashley Homestore and ordered a house full of furniture. Everything was in stock at the time There was 2 different delivery dates on June 26 i recvd half my order. On July 1st I recvd some more. Except my bedroom set I only recvd the Chest So next schedule date was July 8 on that day it was delayed to July 17 on that day delayed to Aug 5 then Aug 19 then on that day Aug 27. Then Sept 5 now it says Sept 12 Just called to confirm today now they Say Sept 24.Cust care says the manufacturer changes the dates How is it possible for a manufacturer to fail to give a delivery date that many times. When you have a date means the items have shipped! They cannot provide me with a tracking ##..I am hearing that Ashley completes the orders from the 3rd party stores b4 delivering to customers. I just moved into my dream home on June 20 but me and my husband are sleeping on the floor. We didn't bring any old furniture from our old home We were excited to let Ashley furnish our entire home.. I purchased my living room set on 11- 25- 2016. It was delivered on 12- 10- 2016. delivery was to be between 11 and 2pm. I had cleared out my living room 3 days prior to delivery. on December 10 at 11:41am from the delivery driver that they would be at my house with in an hour of his phone call. I waited for them and at 1:45pm I received a call from the delivery dispatch that they would not be here for another hour. I told her they called and said they would be here with in an hour of his call. I told her this was not acceptable for me because I had to go to work. they showed up at my house at 2:25pm. I was about to leave for work, which I had to ask my son to come all the way from his home to be here to accept my furniture for me. the showed up as I was about to leave and blocked me in. I was not a happy person by this time at all. They brought my furniture into my home and set it all up. Then the second delivery person stated to me " ma'am you now have your furniture in your home and you need to understand something about delivery ". I cut him off right there. I told him to change his sentence that he was about to say to me because he was not about to talk to me like that at all. They they had a phone to call me at 11:41 they had a phone to call me to let me know that they were not going to be at my house with in an hour of that call. I called the dispatch for Ashley Furniture that day and have not heard from anyone at Ashley yet and its been a week. I will not buy from them again. They are all about you when you are looking to buy but then have nothing to do with you once you have signed their contract. read more

This was the worse experience that I have ever had! I went to purchase a bedroom set, I saw the set online and went into the store and they only had the chest in the store but I fell in love with it. I asked the sales person if I could use the discount code that Ashley emailed me for 15% off and he said all he would ask the manager. The manager said all he would do was 10% off I agreed. Then we got to the check out and the girl gave me my total that the manager put in the computer I gave her my credit card, she charged it and then the sales person started freaking out saying the manager put it in wrong and ran to the manager. The sales person came back and said I was charged wrong that I needed to be charged more. The told me that the manager took to much off he made it $55.00 off. So he went and had the manager change it but when the $55.00 turned into $109.00 difference I knew something was wrong. I asked to talk to the manager, he came over and said that he can't do it for the original price the girl charged me because he has to worry about his margins and they are more important then selling me the bedroom set. I told him to forget the deal and credit my credit card back. The check out girl then informed that she can't credit it back they have to fill out a form then send it into the corporate office and they credit it back, this process can take up to 10 days. This is not ok at all, they can take your money in seconds but you have to wait 10 days to get it back after you have been treated with the worst customer service I have ever seen. My experience with Ashley furniture has been extremely disappointing. I am giving this two stars due to their selection and the sales experience, which was a positive, but was significantly outweighed by a poor delivery experience. Overall, their furniture style is good and the quality seems decent. However, upon purchasing a new dining room table, chairs, and other furniture, the experience degraded. First, the delivery could not be made for nearly three weeks. This was understandable, it was over the Christmas Holiday, still it was something we knew we were going to have to wait on. The first date provided was the 30th. When the 29th came, there was no call to set up the window, as had been promised by the sales person. When we called the store, we were put on hold then told they would call us back. They called back an hour later and told us that they had forgotten to schedule the delivery. We settled on rescheduling for the 5th. Unfortunately, this now required my wife to take off of work to be home since they couldn't give an idea of the time window. When the furniture was delivered, everything came except for the dining room table (the original reason we went into the store). The delivery person did not even have a record of our purchasing a dining room table. My wife pushed further and he was able to find out that the dining room table was not available and had been schedule on the 9th. None of this was communicated to us. We were not told that the table was unavailable, that the delivery was being split up, or that a second date had been selected for that delivery. Nothing was done to coordinate the dates or communicate anything that had happened. The store could not give us more information, the customer service line was likewise unhelpful, stating that they couldn't reschedule the time and the date would be even further off. We have recently been purchasing furniture for our new home, so we have a few others to compare to. Great American Homestore gave us a date and at time and stuck to it. Their delivery guys were professional, go everything position, and we had no problem. From walking through their door to having a new bedroom and living room set, it took less than a week. With Ashley, it has taken three attempts to schedule a delivery and nearly a month. It's not a hard comparison, in the future I will not do business with Ashley, I'll go to Great American or another competitor. read more

Buyers beware!!!! I have purchased furniture twice from Ashley's in Southaven. BOTH times, I have experienced delivery issues and horrible service. The first time was Oct 2013. I had a house fire and was replacing mattresses and living room furniture. Everything was in stock when I paid for the furniture. I had to postpone delivery until my house was finished. Their customer service called me at least every other day for 3 or 4 weeks straight to schedule delivery. It seemed that after repeated requests, they were finally waiting for me to call back to schedule delivery because I had maybe a week or two of respite before I was finally able to call to schedule delivery. It turns out that they probably quit calling because they had given half my sectional couch to another customer....only I wasn't advised of that when I scheduled the delivery. I found out when they delivered half a couch...To make matters worse, it was raining and the delivery guys did not wipe their feet, not one time!!! I had brand new carpet, so I was livid of course. I complained to the sales person, and she said she would send me a $100 gift card for all the inconveniences. I never received the gift card even though I followed up with her at least once. Ok, so round two is happening right now. I ordered a bedroom suit for my daughter. I dealt with the same sales lady. She took off the $100 she promised previously. She said one item was not in the warehouse, but she "pushed out" delivery to Aug 1st to be sure it would come in by my delivery date (3 weeks from the date I purchased). I was ok with waiting, no big deal. Aug 1st was this past Saturday. I waited till about 10:00am to start calling customer service and the store to find out when the truck was scheduled because I had not heard from anyone...not a peep from anyone since I ordered the furniture. No one would pick up at the store, but customer service told me that everything "became available" the night before, and she wasn't sure why it didn't make it on the truck that morning, and would I like to reschedule my delivery....????? I politely asked her to reschedule for this coming Thursday, Aug 6th, and to leave a message for the customer service manager to call me. I also called the store again later that day and left a message for my sales person. Today is Tuesday, Aug 4th. I haven't heard from anyone. To be honest, both the customer service person and the person that took the message at the store were only concerned about rescheduling the delivery appt. Neither showed any concern (or maybe they weren't surprised) that I was scheduled but no one had bothered to call me to tell me there was a problem with the stock and delivery was delayed. I'm glad it was a Saturday, and at least I had not wasted a day of vacation like I did the first time. These guys are 0-2 with me. What are the odds that this would happen to me twice? Well, first time,shame on you; second time, shame on me. I AM DONE. I am likely going to the store tonight to cancel that furniture purchase, and just eat the 10% restocking fee. read more

Horrible customer service ever. They gave me a delivery date but no time I was told that I will be contacted the day of my delivery I received a text message where it stated for me to confirm I confirmed my delivery nothing happen I took off work that day I took off work the next day because my delivery never showed up I even showed up at the store and I was told on the phone thatthe automated system does not always work and that I was supposed to call and to the store to speak with my sales representative to confirm that my delivery confirmation went through. I get to the store to speak with the manager and she had this look on her face like whatever it is what it is your delivery date has changed so either I was to accept that delivery day or just get my money back but if I got my money back I had to pay like a hundred and some dollars to cancel the delivery out. When it comes time for your delivery to show up I think a person should call you versus the automated system since the automated system does not work all the time. It's ridiculous and unacceptable. also in another thing they need to change their delivery methods they should be able to allow the customer to choose their delivery times. yet instead I had to take off work for two days thinking my furniture would arrive and I got the short end of the stick now I have to wait5 extra more days before I can get my furniture which is to me unacceptable by all means. and when you go into the store they act like they don't care they just want to make their sale and meet their quota I know everybody has a job to do and I know everybody is trying to make money but first thing is first you should always have great exceptional customer service. read more

The sales person in the store was very helpful and patient with us while we chose a mattress and kitchen table. We were told at checkout that delivery would include set up of the new mattress and removal of our old mattress. Everything was delivered today, on time. The table was set up and the mattress was delivered. The mattress was placed on the box springs which were still covered in plastic. As the crew was leaving I asked them about taking the old mattress and he responded "we don't have room on the truck". I call the Ashley Help Line and it was like talking to a wall. The girl, Megan, could not care any less about what I was asking and then said "we can't take your old mattress because it will make our new ones dirty". Really? The new ones you have wrapped in plastic? Then I asked about me having to lift the mattress to remove the plastic off the box springs and she replied "well, some people like it on there so....". I asked if some people like it with the plastic off and she simply replied "I guess". This is beyond ridiculous. It isn't like I couldn't handle it but I paid for delivery, set up, and removal. All I truly got was delivery. I feel like I'm owed 2/3 of what I paid and the help line gets you nowhere. I recommend the store but pick it up yourself. I've been very happy with Ashley until today. We bought two pieces of furniture on 7/1 but they had to have two different delivery dates. The first piece was delivered as scheduled on 7/10. Everything was great, except for a little stain on the upholstered head board from the delivery man (which was fine, it was hot and people sweat and no big deal). The second piece was scheduled to be delivered 8/1, which we logged in our calendars while signing the paperwork (because our schedules are so hectic and we didn't want any mistakes). After waiting 3 weeks for our living room sectional, I got nervous and called on Friday afternoon to make sure we were still on track for saturday delivery. The associate who answered was rude, told me repeatedly "you scheduled it for the 5th" and then hung up while I was still trying to figure out how to say "No, that's not right." No apology, just blame. My husband called back, explained that with a firefighter's schedule, he and I are too meticulous to have made that mistake, and that we had it written down for 7/1 in numerous places. The manager he spoke to would not budge, said they absolutely could not make it happen before the 5th, even though the first associate told me the sectional was being delivered to the store today. Everyone was great while we were in the store spending money. As soon as they get that contract, forget about anyone treating you like an intelligent human being. So disappointed. read more

These people are the most incompetent people in business today. I would never buy anything else from them. I paid cash for a bedroom suite, mattress, and bed lift on October 16, 2014. Here it is December 1, 2014, and I am still waiting to even be able to put the mirror on. The first time they delivered it, they didn't have the bed rails and I had to wait two weeks for that. Every time I call about the dresser, they lie and lie and lie. Two more weeks, two more weeks, two more weeks. Today, what do you think they said?? Two more weeks!!!!! I will NEVER buy another piece of Ashley Furniture. Check all the reviews on Ashley before you purchase from them. And, for goodness sakes, don't pay cash. Once they have your money, they could care less. I bet if someone told them two more weeks every time they called about a late payment, they would repossess the furniture. read more

Stay away from Ashley!!! I went to Ashley to purchase an accent table. From the time I entered the store, I was hounded by a sales associate. My husband mentioned to her he wanted a new bed, but i said I was not there for that and that I needed a table. Since the store did not have a table to fit my demensions, she then took my husband to the temper-pedic mattress. She kept offering the most expensive one. She said we can return it, but with a 10% restock fee. We later decided that we did not want that one and went back to the store; The associate kept asking was it something she did why did we not want it. I repeatedly told her that we just decided we didn't want it, but she kept asking. After we returned the purchase the store associates said that my account would be accredited in a month. A month went by and my account still had a pending balance. I received a statement in the mail two days ago, and I still have a pending balance. The original transaction took place within the first week of February 2018; It is now April 24 2018 and the transaction is still pending with the creditors and the store still has not sent the information to the credit company to remove the pending transaction from my account. This is ridiculous. They not only hound customers; They never remove a transaction that they willingly accept and provide the customer a full return on. If the store does not communicate with the creditor to remove the transaction the customer is still liable for the amount that was financed even if you have no furniture, which is what is happening to me. Stay far away from Ashley. Last year (2017) I purchased a kitchen and dining room table, sitting room furniture, and a bed frame from Ashley, which totaled up to $8,000. The screws are coming out of my kitchen chairs. There is no quality with Ashley. I went to the Great American Home Store in Southaven, MS to purchase my Tempur-Pedic bed and accent table and WOW. The service is terrible! Well, let me begin by saying the service is terrific when it comes to getting you to buy from them, but then the service goes down hill once you've paid for it. I purchased my furniture on February 19, 2011-the check has long since cleared-and I cannot get my salesperson to call me back to tell me when it will be in. Today is March 4th. I've left several messages and not one return call. He's always "busy with a customer and will call you back." When I point out that I've already left messages he has not returned, I'm told they will make sure he calls me back this time. I FINALLY got frustrated and a little rude with the poor lady on the phone that has taken all my messages and she looked up my order and told me my furniture should be in around March 17th. When the furniture was sold to me I was told it would be a week to 10 days maximum. Instead it's going to be more like a month. Next time I will go somewhere else. read more

Purchased furniture at this store. Salesperson was very helpful and friendly. Store was clean and neat....Then came the day of delivery. The wrong furniture showed up, I called immediately and let them know. At first I was told since I accepted the furniture I had to keep it, then realizing the salesperson typed in the wrong sku numbers when placing my order and it was their mistake. I was told I would be contacted within 24 hours with a new date of delivery for the correct furniture order and would receive a 20% discount for my troubles. It is 2 weeks later and I have no new furniture and no discount has been given. I have made many calls to the store and asked for the Manager. He is never in the office or store. They claim he is always at a meeting. The office manager says there is NO credit on her desk for her to process and I need to get with my sales person. I tried asking for her and she is always "out of the office". I have furniture that does not belong to me in my home and the furniture I originally ordered and paid for still hasn't arrived. If you are thinking of purchasing furniture at Ashley, rethink that. For 2 months, I made over 30 phone calls (28 of which I documented with time, date, and person's name) before I got a refund on a sofa and love seat. Both pieces were delivered with cushions that were too small, leaving gaps between. After 3 weeks, they finally agreed to replacements. The gaps were even bigger. I asked for a refund. A pickup was to be made. However on the third "try", they arrived with another replacement just as bad as the first 2. The drivers called the corporate customer service, while I called the store that had agreed to a pickup and refund. I had a copy of the full refund form with pickup, which the local store had emailed to me. The person on the phone with the driver was adamant that no pick up be made. I asked him if I could speak to her. He gave me the phone. She told me that they were told this was to be a replacement. I told her that the day before, I had a phone call confirming it to be a pick up. Her reply was, not exact words, but implying that it was too bad that I was not satisfied because they had my money. I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I had already started a dispute to my credit company when the problem first began. Ashley agreed to return the furniture, but wanted the delivery and cancellation fees, totaling over $246. However, since I had a copy of that full refund form, my credit card company settled in full with Ashley. I now have beautiful, comfortable furniture purchased from The Great American Home Store and am greatly pleased. Learned my lesson. Read all of Ashley's reviews, then go elsewhere! read more
