Absolutely do not buy from Ashley furniture in Saint George Utah. We bought a pair of love seats and paid for the 5 year warranty and leather package. After less than a year the love seats started to show lighter spots on the furniture. We went into the store and they referred us to the protection plan we had purchased. We called them and was told they would call us back. They didn't ! Then we started a claim as the spots were getting bigger. The MFS protection plan said they would not cover a color variation but if I had " punctured them with a knife it would be covered"( being honest I did not do this) Now these love seats are unusable. The area where the white spots were bubbled up and the top veneer of the leather is peeling the foot rests are leaning and the seat are breaking down. I called the MFS rep and she ask when I first noticed the loveseat leaning . I told her I had been noticing it for about 1 year. She then informed me I should have reported it within 30 days. This is something that gets progressively worse over time. So in other words whatever is wrong they do not cover it. Today I called the Ashley Store in Saint George Utah, she informed me that they were so sorry but they would also do nothing and hung up on me when I ask what I was supposed to do with unusable sofas that were still under warranty! If I was as dishonest as this company, I would purposely damage the leather so they would have to honor their protection plan. Fortunately I still have a moral compass and will continue to deal honestly with them and others. read more

Do not get anything that isn't in stock at there wear house. We ordered 3 full sized mattresses for our kids, was told by the sales person that they would be at the wear house sep 22,2022, so I left work early to pick up our order. Was told by the wear house that it wasn't there, that the truck was still in California, mind you that was yesterday. Got a call and was told that it has been delayed once again and won't be here tell sep 29,2022. So frustrating when our order was place sep 16, 2022, sales guy gave pick up date more time to actually be at the wear house unloaded and ready to go, just to be told the truck hasn't even left California. I'm betting that my credit payment will be due long before we receive the beds, so will be paying for them to sit on a truck somewhere in California, and if we try to cancel will be charged a restocking fee. Wouldn't recommend Ashley Furniture to anybody ever. After this will will continue to go to Rc Willie's. read more

Ordered furniture on Friday was told it would be delivered on Wednesday. They called and confirmed my information. Then I was emailed and I confirmed my order and information again. I was given a delivery date and time frame. They NEVER showed up or called. I called them 3 hours after I was suppose to have had my furniture delivered to find out when they thought they'd be here. Just to find out they rescheduled my delivery date, for another 7 days. No call, no show and the number on the receipt and business card are not for the local store. Finally get ahold of someone from the service department ,for all of Adhley, just to be told he was going to refund my delivery charge. Then he can't get ahold of my local store to even have it refunded. Gives me the "local number" only to find out its just another service number for all of Ashley locations. Zero help, no furniture and extremely disappointed with our experience. Would not recommend doing business with. read more

Table and chairs were delivered today over three weeks after we ordered them, leg would not screw in the table we had to go to the neighbors to get a tube of Superglue to give to the delivery people in order to try to fix it. Also a very noticeable bubble or dent on top of the table, waiting to hear from service rep to see if it can be fixed. Delivery people were courteous. The associates were over little to no help, me and my husband came in there looking for a whole new house set ready to spend ($10,00) or more on new stuff. No one greeted us or even offered to help as soon as we "looked" like serious buyers only then did a man approach us (still not saying hello) and said "can I help you?!" Obviously we needed help we had already been there for 10 min. This was the worst service we have ever received at an Ashley store. They work off of commission and we were definitely not going to give them a sale after that kind treatment. Whether you're selling furniture or a Walmart cashier having a welcoming respectful attitude should be a requirement upon hiring. Don't go to this location there are so many other places you can go a be treated like a human being! read more

I must have looked like someone they did not want to serve. Two associates were on their phone in plain view of us. There was NO ONE ELSE in the entire store. I walked within one foot of the lady texting on her phone, while the older man walked away from us chatting on his cell phone. Neither one of them even acknowledged our presence or bothered to make eye-contact. I needed a very specific type of chair for my husband's post open-heart surgery rehab. The amount of money I would have spent was only $1-2000, but the customer service was so beyond poor I will never bother to shop at this chain again. The manager of this location should send in secret shoppers when it's dead and see how important texting or being on the phone is verses doing their job. read more

Although I didn't purchase anything, I still received wonderful service. When I walked in, a salesman greeted me. He was very friendly and offered his assistance. I explained that I just wanted to browse and would let him know if I needed anything. He said that sounds great, told me his name and I went on my way. I noticed that they had a lot of the same furniture that their competitor also carries... I also noticed that Ashley has them for much lower prices! After, I browsed and was headed towards the door, the salesman thanked me for coming in and told me to have a great day! Most people wouldn't think that this enough to rate 5 stars. But, coming from someone who hates shopping at car dealerships & furniture stores because of pushy salespeople, this warrants 5 stars. There are a lot of places that the salespeople just won't leave you alone! They follow you around like you are going to smuggle a sofa in your purse and sneak out the front door. And it makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience! read more

I came in to look for some itmes for my dad and they have lots of pretty itmes. The place where he was moving was very small so we had to be careful about what we were getting. It takes about 2 weeks for the items to arrive. if you need them sooner then you have to ask if they have the item in their wearhouse. We ended up not needing the items so we were able to retun them. The service was awesome. Everyone was very nice. read more

Awful. I purchased a couch there and the sales rep then notified me they couldn't get it delivered for 2 1/2 weeks. He then said it would be "expressed shipped" and would be no later than the date he said. After two weeks from the purchase date, I called to make sure they were still delivering the furniture this week. They then said it would be another 2 1/2 weeks until the couch would arrive in the store, which they would then need to call me and figure out a delivery date. Shady and not honest. Plan on at least 4 weeks for furniture to be delivered to you. read more

In store we had the best most honest and nicest salesman that me and my wife had ever dealt with. We got a bed set and mattress which have both been great and look awesome. My only complaint is that the way that we pay it off makes it difficult to make large payments. I was told if I paid 1000 on my 2000 dollar purchase I would be charged a lot of fees and it would only pay about 500 as opposed to me paying it off completely where there is no fees. I dont really feel like there is a great price value for the furniture either especially if you are financing. So nice friendly people in store and very helpful. The system for payments could be less disorganized. read more

I told him my budget, width of my stairways and style that I liked and he took me right to the couch I wanted! Do not purchase any items in this store. The are not reputable. Purchased 2 chairs on March 8. I assumed that chairs would be delivered in several days. I was not told until I called that they had to be ordered. I would not have purchased them if that were the case. I received chair number one in 2 weeks. But chair #2 still has not arrived. It was to be delivered today. I called after the no show and they said it had not been received at the store. I told them that I was no longer interested and requested a credit. They refused to do a credit at this time. No one is returning call. I have called corporate and left a message. This is a privately owned store in St Geo. I have called my bank. They will contact store and dispute charges. I can't believe the unprofessional conduct. I feel for the receptionist who was attempting to get someone to call me back with no luck thus far. read more

If there was a zero star rating I would give that. I purchased a table a few years ago. All the finish came off very easily. You couldn't set a cup down without a warped condensation ring left behind. I called them and they said there's nothing they can do. I told myself then that I'd never buy from them again. Fast forward a few years and I buy a couch and love seat. It's a fake leather thing. After maybe a year the 'leather' starts flaking off... but I bought their warranty. So I call and pretty much I'm told that the warranty only works if the couch is cut or has marker, etc. So I say 'ok if I give my kids knives and scissors and say go for it then you'd warranty?!' Yep. So again... I'm never buying from this crap store again. Burned the two times I have. read more

Do not buy furniture at Ashley! Terrible quality and horrible service! We chose a couch/ love seat combo it arrived looking good but in less than a year the frame was broken. So of course we called because it is under warranty and we paid extra for the extended warranty. This story gets very long here ...but for more than 6 months yes 6 months! We called they gave us the run around. After so many phone calls they sent a guy out. He could not fix them. More phone calls. Then finally they took the couches kept them for 3 weeks returned them not fixed! More phone calls more run around, call the warehouse, call the store, Trips into the store more phone calls... finally they gave us some store credit we had to chose a new sofa because the one we had chosen was no longer manufactured. Then they charged us a $30 delivery fee!! To exchange the sofa/ loveseat which was faulty to begin with. Moral of the story don't by from Ashley! read more

Absolutely asinine execution. I don't think it's unfair to have modest expectations when spending $4,000. At time of purchase, was told that it was a 3 week lead time, which I thought was a little ridiculous for something that is showcased on the showroom floor, but just went with it because my better half liked the set. I'm now sitting at 7 weeks and have been bumped out multiple times. They're "estimating" 2 more weeks, but they promised me that 2 weeks ago. I have to call them to get status updates and am insanely frustrated. I'm at the point where I think I'll cancel the order and look elsewhere. It would be more efficient to buy from a retailer in a larger area and rent a Uhaul to move the furniture myself. read more

Spent over $5000 on a bedroom and kitchen set. Kitchen bar stools were delivered completely out of balance (yes I tested them on a level floor). When calling Ashley the lady wanted me to take apart my new bar stool and fix it myself - RIDICULOUS. I told her that was unacceptable and I finally received a new one 6 long weeks later. One month later the bench came apart right down the seam and you guessed it - another 6 week wait - to ship it in from China maybe? I had to call them over and over to get any answers because they do not call you back or update you in any way on when you will get your replacement. Again - sad customer service. Since then, my kitchen table now has a huge sag in the middle and after talking to the lady in the store was told that she was really busy (because she was behind - go figure) and she may get to my email in a week, but if she didn't then to call and she would figure out why she never received it - that is sad and unacceptable customer service. The furniture is poorly made with laminate that does not hold up (and heaven forbid if you spill water on your kitchen table) - That part is my fault for not checking it our closer before I ponied up a huge sum of money for it - I'll take the blame for blindly trusting that because I was spending a large sum of money that I was getting quality stuff. My hopes are that this review gets to the owner of Ashley and that he/she either trains the employees to give better customer service or if necessary - hires new ones that really care about the business and its customers. If you are too busy to take care of your customers (in a reasonable time frame) then hiring additional customer service people may be an excellent solution. Customer service is not their strong suit - unless they are selling you something and collecting your money - as soon that process was over, the cheerful and helpful service was Gone. Hopefully they read this review and figure out who I am and decide to make my concerns a priority as they should with every customer. I would like to think that this is just a fluke but it's my 3rd go around and the service has only gotten worse. read more

Emily in the finance department is very rude an unprofessional. She called me to collect a payment on furniture that I have not even received yet. I placed my order in Early November and I was told I would have my bedroom set delivered to my house on December 15th. Now after paying $400 already towards it and still not having my furniture until what has been pushed to January 2019 she had the nerve to call me asking for more money. She was extremely rude placed me on hold for 10 minutes to try to transfer me to my salesman that I did not ask to speak to because she didn't know what was going on or how to handle the situation professionally to then pick up with an attitude and say he isn't available and literally hung up on me after I asked to talk to her supervisor. I have been a loyal customer for years and this will be the last time I purchase anything more from this store. I am appalled by the unprofessionalism taking place and someone needs to teach customer services courses for the staff. read more

I'd seriously recommend not buying any furniture with mechanical equipment from them. Easy to purchase product, but when it broke a month after delivery we really learned about their service. It's been +2 months and furniture is still broken. They have not called us once, they require the customer to be incredibly proactive to get a repair. We call to see if it's able to be repaired, get a "we'll check with manager"- no call back. I call back, they say "yes it's the stores obligation to fix, we'll set a repair up someone will call you"- no call back. I call again, no record of the repair order request so they say they'll do it now, I get the repair persons number and set up an order. Repair person comes, says he'll "order parts". No follow up. I call to ask if/when the part will be in, they say it never got ordered, they'll call back when they order it. No follow up. I call to see if it was ordered, they say yes should take a week or two. No follow up. I call to see if the parts in "oh yeah, it came in on the truck today, a repair will be set up" No follow up yet. I understand things break, but for an expensive piece of furniture with a mechanical error immediately after purchase, I expect someone to care if it gets fixed. It's really disheartening. I expect ours will get fixed but it really stinks that their service ends with the sale. read more
