The first time I came here was amazing. I saw Michelle and had a wonderful facial and derma plane. I found this place from Groupon. I actually had written an amazing 5 star review for them but unfortunately need to take back that review. I was seen today for a dermaplane and was taken back 30 minutes late. The person I saw, who I won't name because I don't want to single anybody out, apologized and said that oh her phone it said I was scheduled for "5:45". I find that really hard to believe since I booked this weeks in advance, got s confirmation email saying 5:30pm AND texted them that day saying "see you at 5:30" My dermaplane was horrible and rushed. She also scraped me and I started bleeding a tiny bit. After this happens she then mentioned how "dry" my skin was. I've been getting dermaplanes for 2 years and this never happened. When I got into my car I noticed I still had a lot of baby hairs. I still tipped her 20% because that's the person I am. I bought a Groupon here to get a full set of volume lashes, and I'm obsessed. I was greeted right when I entered by the owner, Ashley. She was kind and had me fill out a form, which is standard. Casey then took me back to the lash area to begin my lashes. She was very sweet and we engaged in nice conversation. I came in with some lashes on, but it had been a while since I got a fill, so I asked if she could just build off it. After analyzing my existing lashes, she asked for the kind of look I was going for, and she perfectly accomplished it. I asked for a wispy look with both volume and classic lashes (hybrid), and she delivered. She was great, and I'll definitely be returning to her. They also are one of the only places that do a lash membership--this allows you to get fills for an extremely reasonable price! I am excited to see how well they last! read more

They turned out exactly how I wanted them and the experience was very relaxing. My favorite place to go for everything! I love that I can get a relaxing facial and lashes done on the same day. I am also in love with all of the deals at Ashley's Beauty Lounge. I'm enrolled in almost all of the memberships because they save me so much money!! I have recently tried the lip blushing and LOVE it! I get so many compliments on the color of my lips and am asked where did I find the color? I have also changed up my skin care with all of her hand picked/produced skin care line and I'm super impressed. This skin care line doesn't break the bank like other places. Went there to get lash extensions and my nails done at the same time. While it is an excellent concept..my nails looked awful!!! I was there from out of town so I couldn't go back. But I would not get my nails done there ever again. My lashes looked fine but my upper lid was glued to my lower lid for a little bit. Those lashes didn't last long either. When I got home, I got them redone and those lasted for weeks. Nice people but not quality. Maybe it was just a fluke...but I would not go back. I'm not good with keeping up with reviews. After going to a lash technician that put clumpy clusters that was so heavy that it ripped many of my own lashes out at the root I called Ashley's Beauty Lounge where they got me the next day. I saw Dom who was awesome. She painstakingly removed the old lashes ensuring that I did not loose anymore of my natural lashes. Everyone was very friendly! I loved how cute the spa was and it was peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately, my lashes just didn't make it two weeks. I would pass. I would strongly recommend to get your nails done elsewhere. I went into Ashley's Beauty Bar to get my nails done before meeting my husband for dinner. I was looking forward to a relaxing time while I got my nails done. That is not what I got. I actually left with a headache and here is why. The nail tech who did my nails was awful and this is why. 1. Right when I sat down she totally smelled of alcohol.. 2. She seemed totally unhappy as if I was wasting her time. 3. When I mentioned I was meeting my husband for dinner and want my nails to look great for him she commented " How long have you been married? " I replied " 12 years " and she said "First or Second Marriage?" 4. Then she went into talking about her ex ( father of her children ) and how he was a complete child and doesnt provide for her children. On and On about he makes so much money, how she help him start his business, and so on. 5. Then she talked about an ex-boyfriend she still Loves or doesnt Love, and on and on. 6. Then her conversation was about how it is better just to go out for Happy Hour and meet men that way. Her quote " Us woman have needs " 7. She constantly was checking her phone and texting. 8. I had to get my nails completely redone 4 days later. Let me just say my experience was awful and instead of relaxing getting ready for a great dinner with my husband I walked out of there with a headache. Needless to say my husband noticed I was upset and at dinner we discuss this. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for your nails. ***UPDATE***** 8/18/15 I was contacted by Ashley from this Ashley's Beauty Bar of which i truly appreciated. She did apologize for the terrible service I had. The problem I have, is she just pretty much said that Nail Tech was having a bad day. So if we have a bad day at work we can treat others like I was treated. She asked me to remove the review because she stated their was too much personal information. Well that was her Nail Tech having me listen to all of the personal information. Like Ashley stated in her response usually the Nail Techs listen to the client and not the other way around. As I do appreciate her reaching out to me to apologize, she just made excuses for her Nail Tech saying " She was having a Bad Day" Well maybe next time one of your employees is having a bad day you should send them home. My husband owns a very successful business and if one of his employees acted like that I can assure you they would be fired. Also I read the other reviews of your Nail Techs referring to clients as High Maintenance. Or was that the Nail Tech again just having a Bad Day. I joined their lash club and unbeknownst to me when joining you have to provide 30 day notice to opt out. After providing over a 45 day notice they are still charging my card every month! Very disappointed in my experience here today. I was excited to try a new place as I just moved to the area. The nail tech that did my pedicure was not enjoyable at all. She was rushed to get to her next client and was consumed in her phone. She gave no attention to a massage and for a $55 pedicure that's what I expected and wanted. I thought she was very unprofessional and rude. She didn't cure my gel polish and when I reminded her she quickly ran over them but not good enough, I had to ask her to do it again before she rushed me out the door. I have had better service at Asian shops of which I stopped going to for a reason. I had the worst experience at this place and I will never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The nail technician told me NUMEROUS times that I was "high maintenance" and that she had "never seen someone with nails like mine" (You know, the way that I LIKE my nails.) I had my nails done (pink & white liquid gel) here on Saturday, (they looked like a kindergartner painted them) and on Monday I went back to Surprise, AZ to my original guy and had to have him FIX everything that was done! The pedicure I received was VERY VERY hurried and sketchy. They only have plastic tubs for you to "soak" your feet in - and again I was told I was "high maintenance" because I wanted a gel pedi and I need acrylic on my big toes to make them look nice. My feet were barely scrubbed and the whole pedi took about 20 minutes. Definitely will NOT be going back. Very pricey for a very sloppy job! read more

Fabulous find! A little gem tucked away in No Scottsdale off Raintree and Northsiite. This place takes me back to Westport Ct and a Spa I used to go to when I lived there that specialized in Absolute Customer Service and Total Customer Experience. From the receptionist to the technicians - this staff is committed to your complete satisfaction. Anna has been doing my lashes and she is very good. She clearly knows her business and my lashes look natural, better than my own but not fake or flashy. They last at least 2 weeks so I'm not frantic if life gets In the way and I'm not able to make the every-two-weeks fill. She is gentle and professional. And, for my lifestyle, being available on the weekends is critical for me so her schedule is perfect for the working gal. Yesterday, I had a facial with Gillian. Fantastic. This professional has been in the business for 10 years and has recently located to Scottsdale from CA. La Jolla's loss is our gain. She listened thoughtfully to my requests and advised me on the perfect treatment for my unique needs. I highly recommend Anna and Gillian. My only fear in doing so is that they will get totally booked and it will be harder for me to see them. This special little spa is worth the trip. Erika did such a fabulous job on my nails today! This was my second time seeing her and I couldn't be more satisfied. She informed me about hard gels, which not everyone does. They are non-toxic, no odor, lightweight, and last longer than acrylic and regular gels. It's a great way to add strength and durability to your natural nail. My nails were destroyed from wearing chunky hard acrylics. Erika has helped my nails recover after removing my acrylics. Today we did hard gel with a diamond dust accent. They look fantastic! They look so clean and natural yet polished and fun. They feel like my natural nails and aren't bulky at all. Plus, I feel like they are going to grow out really nice!! read more

I had a full set of eyelash extensions done in mid-November and a fill at the end of November, both before a trip for which I wanted my lashes to look great without needing to use mascara as I knew I'd be in the pool and the ocean. I'd had lash extensions done once before (elsewhere) and was not happy with it - It was way too over the top and I felt like a drag queen (no offense to drag queens) so it was with great trepidation that I scheduled an appointment with Ashely and I spent some time beforehand talking to her about what I didn't like about the previous experience...she really heard what I was saying and did such a great job of working with what I wanted......and I absolutely LOVED the look Ashely gave me - very natural, not too dramatic. In fact, my lashes STILL look great almost a month after my fill and don't even look like they need another fill yet.....they have lasted much longer than I expected! Also, I was really impressed with how warm and friendly Ashley is, as well as all of her staff - they are a terrific group who really made me feel comfortable and relaxed....the environment at Ashley's Beauty Bar is very "spa-like" and peaceful, and Ashley has such a gentle touch and soothing voice that I nearly fell asleep while she was doing my lashes. I also took advantage of her multiple service option, and had a mani/pedi done at the same time - I was planning to go elsewhere to get that done after my lashes, so finding out that I could get it done at the same time was a HUGE timesaver for me!
