Stopped by Ashtie's after getting some lunch & I loved their Pismo Beach Sweatshirt varieties. I ended up buying a gray Pismo sweater. The staff was so nice & so quick to greet me and assist with any questions I had. The gentleman at the register was so kind & quick during the checkout process. Loved my visit to this store! This was my first time visiting Pismo on a short getaway for a couple of days. Hurm was awesome! I walked into the store yesterday evening, and it looked like he was closing up, but he was super welcoming and friendly. I looked around and saw a couple of things I liked but didn't want to rush anything. I wasn't expecting hurm to strike up such a thoughtful conversation about Pismo, the surrounding area, and things I should check out. Today, he recognized me right away at the door, shook my hand, and remembered my name. He helped me out with the ponchos, and I ended up buying three of them; I was blown away by the price. Five star service here!!! They have the prettiest, bling sunglasses and only $10 each! My glasses are wrapped in a plastic case and you get lens wipes with it. I have very cute sweatshirts and T-shirts. Definitely not like all of the other places and a little bit different and a little bit more boutique-ish, but not a boutique price! The lady who owns the place is very rude and opinionated. The merchandise is crap.I bought 3 pairs of pants for 3 different people and every one of them fell apart on first wear. Cats solution , the only option I got was another pair of crappy pants. I don't recommend!!!! read more

Pismo Beach Pier can get pretty breezy, maybe even a little cold. Before I stopped by Ashtie's Beach Shack I went to the large shop closest to the pier to look for a sweatshirt. I was told that all sweatshirts on the walls (and there were tons of them) were $10 off, so they were $40. I was not impressed. I walked out, feeling a little like a penny pincher but I was not about to drop $40 on a sweatshirt just because it had Pismo Beach printed on it. I was walking back to my car and I spotted this shop. They too had sweatshirts on sale. I ended up walking away with a pale florescent yellow Pismo Beach sweatshirt for $16.20 !!! Super sweet deal !! Also, the owner, Sissy is the nicest person ever! She even gave me a great ATV rental suggestion to go to the next day. I saw a lot of other nice items in her store. Great souvenir and clothing shop that won't rob you blind :D read more

Cute little store near the beach. My kids loved everything inside. We got character piggy banks (Hello Kitty and Darth Vader) and owners said it is hand painted (really nice). The couple (probably the owners) are so nice and got some CBD samples as well. read more

The owner Bob gave me a sample of the CBD oil for the arthritis in my arms so I tried it and it felt great! I feel it to be life a changer for the pain. This place is family owned and has a nice mix of different items not found in other shops which makes it a great place for locals not just tourists. I happened into Ashtie's while visiting my stephag (her term, not mine) after a lunchtime fish and chips nosh. Given that she has four sons, she loves getting the opportunity to shop with me and play dress up. The store is small but filled with stuff and well organized. There's an assortment of trendy/skater/beach clothes, bathing suits (perfect since it's just up from the beach), shoes (dressy and flip flops) and LOADS of fun sparkly baubles. Being that I'm on a tight budget (damn you Debt), I scoured the clearance rack. I found an awesome yellow sundress and a fun pink, polka dot mini (full price). I paid $40 for both. Not sure why yelp has this place as closed but it's not. I walked in to this store and wanted to buy everything! Lol they have great stuff and great prices! They had great customer service! First time I went in was at night it was a man behind register and he was very helpful! My 6 year old son was asking him a million questions and he was very nice and patient with him lol then I went in again the next morning and it was a lady and she was very nice! I was going to buy a sweater for my son that was on sale and she pointed out some marks on it that's why it was on sale and I thought that was very nice and honest of her!
