My God Just Go! Fabulous clothing, pricing is a little high but still worth it. Better value than the stores in San Luis Obispo. Cute things, staff very helpful. Fits the visual of "Old Town" Arroyo Grande. Parking is very easy and plentiful. read more

It isn't posted anywhere visible, but this is an ALL SALES FINAL BOUTIQUE. Purchased pants and top, $224.00. Paid $200.00 cash and the remainder on a card. Attempted to return the pants two days later for a refund at which time I was told this policy it is written on the receipt (A little late to share this information at that point). Very expensive clothes, poor service and no refund of cash paid two days after purchase with tags on and receipt. They defended their "policy". NO star review. PS. If you pay by card, you will begin getting emails from them immediately. read more

Lavender Blu is the best thing to hit the Village of Arroyo Grande in a long time! I have been a business owner in the village for over 30 years and am thrilled that there is now a boutique that has absolutely nice clothing that's classy but has an edge. It's not a discount store, but the prices certainly are reasonable for the high-quality I'm getting. This store is unfortunately closing in SLO. I say unfortunately because you can find in this store a variety of lovely clothes for a reasonable price, all organized in a pleasing manner. Their final sale today is 50 to 60% off, and I bought six items, all really great. I always found the woman behind the desk friendly and helpful, and I will miss it. There is another Lavender Blu in Arroyo Grande, but it is not as inviting. There is also Poppy in Morro Bay which is apparently linked to Lavender Blu and carries similar items. I find it sad that we have to go to Arroyo Grande or Morro Bay to find elegant clothing at a reasonable price, but that's the way it has become in downtown SLO. read more

Really cute shop in the village. I stumbled upon this place while walking in the village and was impressed with the quality and selection of cute clothes. I ended up buying my mom an embroidered cream sweater that she loved and the prices were very reasonable. They carry items similar to Dress Barn, but since this is a locally owned small business I will be shopping here from now on. read more

I wish I didn't have to give a star to add a review. My mother asked me to enter this shop as she needed my opinion on a dress she was considering for my cousin's upcoming wedding. Upon entering the store was empty as closing time was a few minutes away. I saw an older woman working behind the counter so I prepared myself to return her greeting. She simply looked down and I didn't think much of it as I'm sure she was busy and deep in thought pouring over closing duties. My mother lead me around attempting to find the dress she had in mind from a few days ago.the woman working was then busily adjusting trinkets and adjusting accessories across the room. I didn't want to shout for assistance but it became apparent that wherever my mother and I were perusing, she was at the furthest point away she could get. At this point I was mildly amused and began joking with my mother that we should explain that we aren't contagious. Mom chastised me and after a few passes I finally caught the woman within earshot and asked if she worked here. She said yes as I replied, " I thought you were a shopper as you never said Hello." She nervously replied, "I was outside, and you were in the back of the store." "Uh huh," I said, "let's go mom, whatever dress we couldn't find I would discourage you from buying anyway. This place needs to know how to help customers." As we began our walk out, I stepped aside to allow a blonde woman to enter. From over our shoulder we heard the old bag working say, "hello there." I've never left a review like this but a nerve was struck this morning when my mother informed my sister that her dress search continues since she wasn't going to purchase the one from Lavender Blu Boutique. She said that being treated coldly once is a shame but allowing it twice is non negotiable. Apparently my all forgiving mother was treated the same way the first time she was there as well. Lavender Blue Boutique, fire the bag that was closing on Thurs and if by some chance she is the owner/operator...boycott this establishment. She's a jerk. read more

The salesgirl was very helpful as I was looking for gift for a friend I ended buying a pair of earring and a scarf both just perfect for my friend.
