I have been going here for years and enjoyed the cost and the services. A couple months back - male masseuse was burping the entire 90 minutes. So I asked for females after that which was fine for one appointment. Then yesterday I get a female who was not only rude to customers, she left me at least a dozen time to go out and tell incoming customers that they were to busy and to call her boss, but also was talking to the others while doing my 90 minute massage. When I turned on my back I realized why she was using one hand because she was texting the entire time on her phone. When I asked her at the end she said yes and started laughing. I paid and left without leaving a tip and she was shocked. I'm done - it has gotten awful there. read more

It was very easy to walk in and get a full body massage. They basically refused to do foot massages and made me get a full body massage. I felt uncomfortable several times of where her hands were touching. I paid $50 and tipped her $13 but she got in front of the door and was yelling that I give her more, so I was frightened and gave her more so it was $20. I am never going back. read more

The massage was okay. Got the full body massage. She asked me up front if I wanted hard and I said yes. I think she misunderstood and the first half was pretty light. She asked me again when starting the second half and I said she could go harder. When I went to pay, I tipped the normal 20%. She actually started laughing and said I wasn't tipping enough. I was a bit shocked by her reaction. I tipped $2 more because I felt it was fair for the work she did. She laughed again and said I should tip her $20 (for a $50 service). Asking your customers to tip you more is a definite no no. I am always a generous tipper and it's based on service for me. Definitely would not come back just based on the experience at the end. I have been here a few times and have always had a good experience. But last Sunday I came here, it was a decent massage nothing spectacular but it was good. When I paid my bill after giving a 10 dollar tip, the girl said I didnt Tip enough and they usually get 40 dollars! I looked at her in complete confusion and disgust... and walked away. I went there @ 8 pm 5-25-2019 . I was only expecting to get one hour as they close at 9pm. The massage went pretty well and half way though ( her name was IMA or something like that ) asked if I wanted 90 mins I said sure. All went well Except went I went to pay. . 90 mins was 82.50 which was fine. But when I pulled out my wallet she ask if I had cash. laughing that I had 4 one dollar bills. I said no I'd have to use my card and tip on that as well. She said 2.50 charge. ok fine . Then after she ran my card she pointed at my wallet and said give my that cash. I was like ok I'll give you this and tip the rest on the card. Then she pointed at the receipt and I shit you not demanded I put $ 40 dollars tip down. I said that's a% 50 tip ! And I know you get half of the bill. And told her I'll give her 20 and the 4 dollars cash that's over % 20 . She looked completely perplexed and was guilt shaming my and full blast complete with body language and head shaking. It didn't stop there. We went back and forth. She kept pointing to the receipt and again demanded I tip $ 40 plus the cash I gave her. I was like umm No, your trying to hustle me I'm not an idiot. And said I though 24 was fair. I live in Thai Town in L.A and get Thai massages all the time, it's 75 for and hour and a half and I tip 15 or 20. Those people are grateful to have me patronize their establishment. They even have a tip chart at checkout as the. minimum, good and great tip with smiley faces. I've never had this happen in my entire life and thought I would share this ugly situation with you. I had a pretty good foot massage here today, but my experience when I was paying was awful enough that I will never be going back. I gave a 20% tip, and the woman who had given me my massage looked at my receipt and said, "Not a good massage?" When I assured her it had been, she said, "If it was a good massage, give me $10." She then scratched out my original tip and handed me my receipt back so I could adjust my payment. I was incredibly intimidated by this and did adjust the tip; however, when she then asked for even more money, I felt uncomfortable enough to ask for her boss. At that point, she claimed she didn't understand what I was saying. As I left the shop, she loudly shouted, "Lady, leave!" After reading other reviews, it seems like this is a common tactic at this place--very unprofessional and definitely not someplace I will be returning. read more

I've been coming here off and on for the last 5 years and just got home from having a massage there. I have to have deep tissue massage and let that be known when I talk with the person up front. Today I asked the person who greeted me if there was anyone there who was good with deep work. She said yes and that she would be free in an hour. Long story short she then told me that she was good with giving me deep work also and to follow her. I asked for an hour and actually never checked the time but I believe she was good with the time. The massage was also very good. The last two times I've been there I've had different therapists and the same thing has happened during check out. I pay cash and give what I believe to be a very good tip, they look at the money with an odd look and say "Next time you pay more tip if you want deep work." No broken English with that statement and sounds a bit rehearsed in my opinion. read more

My boyfriend gave me a 90 minute massage for Christmas and told me he even paid the tip, so all I had to do was go do it - I didn't need to pay anything. So, I set up my massage for this past Saturday. I have never had a massage before and told the people I didn't know what to expect. They did not explain anything they were doing, some of it hurt and when he was done he very softly just says "finished" - and didn't tell me what I was supposed to do. I just got dressed and was walking out. They stopped me at the front desk and said the tip was not included on the gift certificate ...I said that it had been paid ahead of time. They said it does not show that. I said well he told me he paid the tip - and tipped well. They obviously wanted a tip and I thought well maybe my boyfriend had been mistaken and thought he'd tipped but didn't. So I paid the tip. We looked at his bank record and he DID pay a tip! I have had several massages at Asia Massage Reflexology and unfortunately the last experience ended with a sour note. My normal masseuse, Tina, was not available so I tried Anna. While the massage relaxing when I went to pay Anna proceeded to work me for an additional tip. I am and always will be a generous tipper, but when I give a $30 tip on a $80, 90-minute massage and you express attitude it really takes the enjoyment and relaxing out of the experience. I've been back to Asian Reflexology for 90 min of deep tissue twice since I last wrote about Michael, and both times I got equally outstanding bodywork from two other guys, one named Andy (and not sure of the other). It looks to me like these guys are rotating in unpredictably, so you just have to take what you get on any given day. So far, I'm 3 for 4 getting extraordinarily skillful deep muscle therapy. I always call ahead and specifically ask for "deep tissue, a guy that does deep tissue," because it's not what most customers want, I think. I think most want relaxation, not physical therapy. The therapy is hard to find, but these guys seemed to me to relish the opportunity to do real Chinese deep tissue on someone, to ply their skill. And their technique is different in kind from American massage therapists; I have good American therapists I go to also, and pay top dollar for it. But it's apples and oranges, and the oranges offer something the apples don't, at nearly half the price. So, you likely won't be able to communicate with your massage therapist, and maybe not even the receptionist at the desk, but if you can stand letting them do what they know how to do, instead of what you want them to do, they may surprise you with what you don't know about what your body needed. You have to be able to relinquish yourself into the hands of the wisdom of the East, For that act of faith, I got as good as it gets when it comes to deep tissue, and even with a gigantically grateful tip, I saved money. read more

I was wearing tall platform shoes all day so I decided to stop in for a quick foot massage to test the place out. I was attracted to the idea of a reflexology massage. I was greeted by a small dog that was laying on the podium where the greeter sat. Unfortunately, the greeting was both growling and yapping. I love dogs, but it is very off-putting to be welcomed into what should be a serene place by being growled at. The massage was nice, but probably an equivalent skill level to my husband. The biggest reason for the one star rating was the fact that the "rooms" are separated by curtains and I could hear a male patron in an adjacent "room" moaning throughout the session! As a young lady, this made it a very uncomfortable experience. Lastly, to charge an additional $2.50 fee for using a credit card is ridiculous. I mean, seriously, it's 2016! I've been to this place probably 5 or 6 times in the three years I've been living here. There was one lady on the first visit who was great and I never seen her again. One time I called and they said she was busy so I never got a chance to go to her again. The man who's at the desk I guess is the owner, he doesn't seem very friendly all the time. Everytime I go there's different people the massage is ok for the price but I'm questionable about the sheets that use because they don't seem to change them after every customer. One day I went to Linda who immediately pulled out my naked rear end from out under the sheet. That made me feel very uncomfortable even after I tried to pull it up she kept trying to put it down a little bit. I have been getting massages on a regular basis since 2004 and I've never had anyone really tried to massage my butt. I think that is something they should ask you first. I must say she did give a nice massage but I'm not in the habit of people touching my butt when I'm naked, with the exception of the doctor or my husband. On occasion I go for the 30-minute foot reflexology massage for $20. Because I stand for living, I really enjoy a good foot massage and you can't be 20 bucks. However I had a young male this time and my foot was soaking as he prepared all of the equipment, went back and forth talking to Associates comma checked and other customers and I believe answer the phone. By the time he came back the first 10 minutes was spent with me doing nothing but soaking my feet. He gave a great foot massage but I only got it for 20 minutes. Oh and then they charge you $2.50 to use your credit card so I feel I overpaid and did not even get a full 30 minutes. I did tip but he would have got more if you would have did the full 30 minutes. They do a decent job but too many shortcuts . I would love to rate them higher but they have not earned it yet. read more

I went today for foot reflexology since I saw signs for 1/2 hour is 20$ and I wanted 40minutes, so the man up front said $30, fair enough. The massage was fine. I went to pay and he charged my card $42.50, not including tip. I told him he had said $30 and I was going to give the girl 20% or 6$. He said that was not enough, this industry was different and the girls don't make much and I should pay more. Definite bait and switch for one. I suggested he raise the price so the tip would be more, again he argued with me and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. The women are hardworking and I want to give a 20% tip for good service but I think he is taking all the money and all the girls end up with is the tip....unethical I will not go there again read more
