I had my first visit with Asia Sullivan this week and all I can say is wow! From the moment I walked into Suite 401, to the moment I walked out, I was looked after and treated with absolute respect from all of the staff. I'm a gay man and am in my early 40's so I needed a full medical check up. Never once did I feel uncomfortable, and actually it was quite the opposite. Asia is amazing and so is the entire staff & team at Suite 401. They made me feel comfortable and took extra time to answer all of my questions. I moved to LA and I was in search of a new primary doctor. I am so happy I found Suite 401. They are a one stop shop. They are incredibly thorough. When I had my annual physical done, I was able to get all of my lab tests done in house. Especially with the pandemic, I rather just get everything done in one location. Other doctors offices would have me go to a lab. This saved me time and it so convenient. On top of that, they do their due diligence to keep things incredible clean and sanitary. To top it all off, they also have nice views from their office. It was so calming and comforting especially when you are about to get your physical done. I actually enjoyed my visit. The energy here is wonderful. Everyone is so welcoming & kind and they go out of their way to do their job. Asia really took time to listen to me. This has been one of if not my best experiences I've had at a doctors office. She is so personable and caring. I was suppose to come in a while back when I was concerned over my ulcer. When I mentioned that I was able to get into see a specialist, she called me back immediately letting me know it was okay to cancel so I could see a GI doctor for my ulcer. In my decade long struggle with chronic illness (POTS and NDPH) and other health issues, I have been to dozens of medical professionals at the highest levels, from UCLA and USC to Scripps and Mayo Clinic. However, very few have been as informed, informative, compassionate and PASSIONATE as Asia. Most Western medical visits are comprised of rushed appointments with an egocentric doctor who thinks they know everything and refuse to accept anything new outside of their "literature." Asia is not only up to date on a wealth of information, but seeks to learn more herself instead of shutting down a patient who has mystery issues that don't line up with most patients. She recently sent me a long email after our appointment to include links to doctor referrals and medical articles, so her care doesn't stop inside the appointment itself. She is genuinely invested in her patients and her demeanor is of an angelic massage therapist (how often can you say that about a doctor?). The office itself is comfortable and efficient, and it sounds like the whole team is great. I couldn't be more grateful to have Asia as my PCP. read more
