It's very out of the way from College Hill. I decided to take Lyft to and from here, which was admittedly quite inconvenient. They did play good music! Including Bruno Mars and Rose's "APT", Blink 182's "All the Small Things", and The Killers' "Mr Brightside."

Felt like I was in the movie ATL and fighting for my life in here, will NOT be back. I've skated before but I am no pro and I will admit that, but I didn't know I was in the damn derby! There were people literally skating within centimeters of you on purpose to try and make you fall. Not to mention it was rather hot in there and peoples wind wasn't smelling too fresh. (If you can't skate, I don't suggest taking a bathroom break with your skates on because, well yeah, use your imagination. Not to mention the floor is slippery as all hell in there) There was not anyone behind the snack bar for quite some time and then when she did come over, it was like she was under too much pressure. (Not sure how, the oven wasn't even working) so we could only get drinks (Luckily we brought our own skates because the way those people were sweating and smelling, no thank you) If YOU CAN skate && I mean SKATE SKATE (you know I mean business because I said it twice) then definitely give it a try. It's not a beginner friendly rink by any means. (No bars to hold on to or any order at all) There was an older woman and man in there getting their money honey, right in the middle of the rink. Worked them up a great old sweat and then sat on them chairs people were sitting to eat. Also (sign the waiver before you go to avoid waiting even longer)

The ice conditions were horrible…read moredue to teenagers just hanging out in little groups talking along the walls and near center ice. One kid was throwing something around on the ice and almost knocked my kid over. Another group of teens were pushing each other around on a bar stool. It makes for a very difficult time for novice skaters. It seems like the owners are more worried about packing kids in and collecting this money, than worrying about the safety and happiness of third patrons.

They had Kpop Demon Hunters playing on repeat, the music throughout the ice rink and then the kids went wild with it during karaoke. I looked around and could not figure out where the screen was (if they even had one) because other songs, kids were mumbling. I do appreciate that there's a middle area where ice skating beginners can practice and learn. They also had laser tag, but no one was interested. Pizza was the best they got for food and kept me full while my niece had fun. There was also a 1 lap race for different age groups and if you were an expert skater, they made you start further back.
