I booked a 90 minute hot stone massage for a Friday evening ... only a couple of days in advance. It was super easy to schedule this through their website - and they even listed short bios about all of the massage therapists, and their styles. I arrived and checked in easily ... if it's your first time visiting, you do need to arrive about 15 minutes early to fill out some paperwork. My massage therapist, Alexis was so sweet and knowledgeable. She asked a few targeted questions to determine what areas would be best to focus on during the massage, and then explained to me the differences between Himalayan salt stones and regular hot stones. Unfortunately, those stones would turn into a bit of an issue ... Alexis said she'd grabbed a warmer that wasn't typically used, and as a result, it wasn't keeping the stones very hot. Even though this was a stressful situation, and definitely not want you want to have happen during something that's supposed to be relaxing, Alexis handled this brilliantly. Since it was a 90 minute massage, she was able to swap the warmer out for a better one halfway through, and ended up taking the hot stones off my bill altogether for the hassle. Her customer service is some of the best I've experienced, and she did all of this calmly and quickly, without even making it into a big deal, AND while still giving me a fantastic full body massage. Although this wasn't exactly the relaxing evening I'd thought it would be, I still left feeling great, and I would definitely return for another massage with Alexis. It sounds like their membership is worth it as well ... especially since unused credits rollover month to month!

My husband was dealing with sinuses so this was a perfect start to our weekend together. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and shown where we would need to go to enjoy our salt room experience. You're provided socks if you don't have any on, and I'd recommend it, as the salt dust will collect a lot on your socks. It was a very relaxing and peaceful experience. They provide clean fleece blankets for you if you get chilly. We used them over our chairs, it was just a lovely experience all around. Also, we were shown the infrared sauna and the salt sauna, both seemed health benefiting. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Found NKY Therapeutic Massage on Groupon and was not disappointed…read more I have many lingering injuries and issues from playing competitive sports my entire life and through the collegiate level so I always like to make sure that I go to a masseuse who knows what they are doing and will not irritate any of my issues. Denise was super attentive when I began telling her all my injuries and my past experience with massages (which was minimum). I told her that I was looking for a total body massage, but for her to base treatment off of what she felt were tight and injured areas. She ended up spending a lot of time on my shoulders and even did some cupping! I had never done cupping before and she again graciously explained it to me. She also worked to help stretch and level out the length of my legs as apparently one is 1/2 inch shorter than the other (most likely due to previous injury I sustained). During my 60 minute massage we talked the whole time and I never felt it was awkward. Her studio is located inside the nail salon - you can tell the front desk you are here for a massage ans they will let Denise know in the back and then she will come out and meet you.
