Paid for my services up front, the swedish medium massage was THE BEST! When I tell you I was ready for bed at noon, I mean it. All my knots were handled, very professional work, good ambiance, room temperature was ok but I was offered a blanket for extra warmth (yes please!!). Foot massage was a joke. Done on a flat table. No lumbar support. Was told to sit on a stool to soak feet. It felt like this was not a service they regularly offered and then the massage therapist could not understand any English. Constantly doing a fingering motion betweeen my toes. Asked to do something else repeatedly and she wouldn't listen or get help to understand me. Won't be returning. It was a Groupon and I usually love Groupons as it has me try many random places I have not done but these people need to know the position you are putting our body in for an hour is not relaxing. And if you gonna offer a service and you don't speak English make sure you have help to assist when customer feels uncomfortable. Got home from my massage here and I am still on cloud nine! I came here with a groupon then opted to pay an extra $10 to get a deep tissue massage. The massage rooms were simple but super clean and inviting. There was relaxing music playing which added to the ambiance. My therapist was super sweet and explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable. The massage itself was fabulous! She really worked out all the knots in my shoulders/neck and stretched out my whole body. The pressure was very strong and included elbows/knees being dug into my back, which was awesome. My therapist made sure everything she was doing was okay with me and you can always ask for less pressure. My favorite part of the massage was when she took hot stones and rubbed them over me. It was super relaxing after my muscles had been worked on. I left my massage feeling much better and not stiff anymore. Just keep in mind this place is cash only but there is a bank across the street to get cash if you need to. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax! read more

Massages are great however on my third visit the therapist said something that didn't sit right with me. I am plus size(not my 600 lb life but not small either). She went to hold the towel up so I can turn on my back. I was holding my breasts so I can maintain modesty and not show them so I was turning over rather slowly. Then she said "exercise". I didn't know what she meant by that but I took it as she was saying I needed to exercise. Of course my boob did end up getting exposed to which she said "beautiful". If you aren't getting a massage from Jenny, you arent getting more than a simple skin rub. Jenny gets 5 stars alone, she is the only thing good about this place. The pricing is completely inconsistent with what you'll see on the punch card they give you. They gave me a punch card saying the sixth massage I got would be half off. Excited for the 4 handed massage option, i got 5 massages anticipating my 6th massage. Jenny called the boss lady who I spoke with over the phone who said she couldn't offer me a 4 handed massage half off even though it was clearly listed on the card and there were enough people working that day. Additionally, she said i could have a regular massage priced on the card at $60 but priced on the board for $65 for half off for $35..... now I did earn a bachelors degree in mathematics so I'm a bit of an expert that half of $65 is not, in fact, $35. She persisted. While on this infuriating phone call, a roach ran across the desk. Shady owners, dirty place, and only one massage therapist is worth any money at all. 2 stars. read more

I hope this place makes it as it is a great alternative to the typical day spa service. This is a new business and they will be working out a few kinks but all in all, I was very happy with the Asian techniques used to work out my sore muscles. I walked in and was taken back right away by one of the owners to a quiet, serene, and clean room. The massage table was comfortable and I was given a towel rather than sheets to cover up. I was a bit uncomfortable at first with just a towel but once the therapist got to work, I realized that the towel allowed her better control over her 'working space' in which to apply her techniques. Speaking of techniques: I really appreciated the unique movements and stretches employed by the therapist with an emphasis on pressure points, all done with just the right amount of pressure without using too much oil. Hot stones are included in most of their massage offerings, but anyone who doesn't like the stones, can decline. I was very relaxed, almost sleepy, and felt like I got a massage done by someone who really knows all the body parts work together. My right arm and shoulder actually felt better-I suffer from severe tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome-and look for relief anytime I can get it! The prices are very reasonable and they offer a first time special. Be sure to pick up a rewards card that will give you a free service after nine visits. I look forward to booking a reflexology session next week. If you are looking for more of a day spa with all sorts of services (massage, facial, mani-pedi, etc.) than you may be disappointed but if what you want is concentration of different massage techniques, you will be happy you came to Asian Massage Center. My only complaint would be that as a start-up, they only accept cash. No checks, no cards. I think that will need to change in order to attract more clientele. read more
