I recently visited Joy Feet Reflexology, located on S Lynnhaven Rd. as my second stop for my "birthday month of self-love. When I first walked in I was a little skeptical due to the modest entry/waiting room. However once I walked to the back where the magic happens my skepticism left. The atmosphere was peaceful, with dim lighting and soft music. They have multiple beds separated by a curtain which is perfect for solo, group or couple outings. I opted for the 60-minute reflexology session ($45), which included a 15-minute neck and shoulder massage, followed by a 45-minute foot massage.  My appointment started with a basic foot soak. During the foot soak I received the neck and shoulder massage, which felt absolutely delightful.  After the foot soak, I moved to the chair that fully reclines into a bed. Once on the chair they continue with the shoulder and arm massage before moving to my feet. The foot massage was like Heaven or what I imagine heaven to be like. The pressure was perfect throughout the entire session. I left feeling relaxed and completely rejuvenated--it felt like having a new pair of legs. I plan to incorporate this into my life at least twice a month moving forward.  If you are looking for a great reflexology spot, Joy Feet is a 10/10. Your feet will appreciate it! read more

AHHHHHHMAZING!!!!! Need a massage and want to decompress and relax? Look no further!!! I stumbled on this foot spa on yelp and saw that it got a 5-star rating so I decided to give them a call to schedule an appointment. There was 3 of us that came together and we had the entire place to ourselves. Upon walking in you see all chairs lined up in 2 rows. The lights were dimly lit and there was soft music playing in the background with the sounds of the water fountain. It was so relaxing. We all got the one hour combo massage that included both feet and body. It first started with the foot soak while they were massaging the back. The pressure was just right and she got all my troubled spots on my back, it was amazing!! I had Joy who is the owner and she did an awesome job, I was in total relaxation I didn't want my massage to end. She was also super friendly and welcoming once we walked in. They were able to fit us in last minute on a late Sunday afternoon. Interior was quiet and clean with soft music playing and the sound of a trickling water fountain. There was only one other person getting a treatment, so not crowded during Covid. Definitely wear loose clothing, since massages are done in an open room while clothed, and the masseuse was struggling a bit with the woven shirt I happened to have on. We got an hour combination massage. Starting seated while feet were soaking, they did a back and shoulder massage (a little tough to relax because you have to push back when they apply pressure so as not to tip over). They then had us lie back on the recliner lounge for the foot/leg massage (with some serious reflexology) before doing arms and then turning face down for more shoulder/back/scalp massage. Hot stone treatment was included. This isn't a fancy spa experience but was a very good therapeutic massage. We heard the other customer commenting that she "felt like a new woman" as she checked out. We'll definitely be back. read more

Yesterday was my 2nd visit to this amazing business. I suffer from chronic pain and have had several joint replacement surgeries. I woke up with horrible pain in 80% of my body. After pondering the best solution for pain I decided to visit Joyful Feet Reflexology. What a wise choice. I explained to Joy my issues then she began to erase a lot of my pain. How did I end up at JOY Feet? I was contacting holistic places that would give my feet and body some much needed attention. Shame on me I did not use my handy dandy YELP app to assist me. Guess, what popped up a lovely review from YELP declaring the wonderful service that was provided and how it won her husband over. This place was only a mile from my home. I UBERED to the business and was greeted by a vibrant and lovely woman at the front desk. It was Joy, the owner. The name of the business personified her character fully. At the time of my arrival (5:30pm), she was booked. Joy asked if I could return at 8 pm and her team will take care of me. I was so exciting about returning to experience this jubilant atmosphere, I agreed and was given a business card. At 7:15pm, I contacted Joy, she remembered me and told me to returned at 7:30 pm. I hopped an UBER and was welcomed again with a warm greeting. When I entered the through the doors to meet my masseuse, Mason, I felt like royalty just walk through those doors. The energy in the room was tranquil and the decor was arranged perfectly to create the zen that I needed at that moment. I received the combination package which included 30 mins of reflexology and 30 mins of deep tissue massage for $46.99...just round it up and make it $50 plus tipping. How much is your wellness worth to you? You have to take care of your servants-mind, hands and feet they are my tools to get things done efficiently. I did not care about the pricing because the overall service was EPIC. No, I'm not related or employed with Joy Feet, the service they provided was just outstanding. I've been here three times already. My initial experience was not the best because I was expecting a reflexology like the ones in Asia (Taiwan, Thailand) where they target your acupressure points. It wasn't that if anyone is expecting the same. However, the body massage was good. Pressure was perfect! I came back the second time and asked for stronger pressure for my toes. This was the best massage I've ever received. First they ask you if you have any injuries or spot you'd like to focus on which I really appreciated because I have really tight plantar fasciitis. I came across this place after my normal massage place was closed for the holiday & man am I glad I did! I chose the combination hour massage which was 30 min shoulders, arms, back, and head & 30 min lower legs/feet. Mason was my masseuse and applied the right amount of pressure to all areas! He made sure I was relaxed and comfortable the entire time! They start the massage by having you sit up and they do your back & shoulders. You then lay down as the chair reclines & they massage all the other areas. The hot stones on my legs and feet were a nice surprise.
