This used to be a great place. However, about a year ago I had a very poor massage and stopped going for a year. Oh what a wonderful experience this was. I hate that I fell asleep because I feel like I missed most of it but I guess that's a sign of a good massage. I've been to many asian massage places, considering in the bay they have one at every corner. But this one does do private rooms and it was only 40 dollars for 1 hour. 50 after tip. They focused mainly on the back which is fine but I wanted a good foot rub too.. Where they also lost a star was when they first started for some reason no oil was used or lotion and it was a bit painful. Other than that I plan to go back next month. My husband and I have been coming here for years for hour and a half couples massages. But the last two times have been an awful experience. Last time they cut our hour and half massage after and hour. Then yesterday's bull shit was completely out of line. They talked through the entire hour and half massage and kept leaving the room, once was for at least 10 minutes. Then the topper was when we paid the $70 a piece price and gave them each a $20 dollar tip, which in my opinion is a very decent tip. The women put her hand out and said " no you pay more". I and my niece went out for a day of relaxation as a gift for her high school graduation. We decided to go to Asian massage, seeing their good review, which was not that accurate. We decided on their 45 minutes full body message, the women goes in and out when the phone rings or when the front door bell dings. Over all, we did not receive a full 45 minutes massage. With that been said, we paid the charge $90 and $5 extra as a curtesy. The lady went crazy that we only gave her $5 and which what I had at that moment, I didn't want to ruin our day, so I said I will give you $5 more, but I have to use my credit card, the woman refused to run only $5. I had to borrow money from my niece to give her the extra $5 in cash. It felt like a shakedown. I will never go back! I will tell my experience to all my friends. read more

Alright, so let me start off with saying, I am a massage therapist and wanted to test the waters with other places that maybe aren't where I would normally go. So I went in and asked for an hour Swedish which was 48, not a bad price. But honestly what I got was not worth what I paid. The place is clean and the lady I got was nice so that's where the two stars came in. But I was in the worst pain of my life for an hour. I told her twice it was too much pressure but that didn't seem to change anything. I'm too nice of a person to tell them to stop so I somehow dealt with the pain. It has been almost 12 hours since I got a massage and my back feels like it was stabbed. I wish I was overreacting. I can hardly lay on my back it is so sore. I have been going to Asian massage for over a year even though it is located about 30 miles from where I live. They have extended hours until 9pm and they are the only place that truly gives deep tissue in my opinion compared to the other places I have been in both Chico and Oroville. read more

The prices are very cheap, which is nice. However, you get what you pay for. I'm disappointed at the loudness of the employees in the facility. They'd talk through the wall to the woman massaging me, and talk loudly outside the room. Literally, to the point where the woman massaging me was peaking through the covered window in the room. The woman massaging me let in another woman, while I laid naked with the sheets completely at my feet, and switched places with another employee, leaving a different woman to finish my massage. Opening the door while I'm uncovered, naked, is not okay, and neither is having two employees in the room while completely uncovered. I would not recommend or go back, unfortunately. read more

Probably THE most uncomfortable situations/massage attempt i've ever experienced. My masseuse told me to take my clothes off, naturally i kept my underwear on. She starts the massage, as she is moving along she removes the blanket completely. Literally laying there bare ass. I asked if she could put it back, obviously for modesty reasons. She didnt understand so she walked out the door, leaving it open all while i am still SUPER exposed. I closed the door, started to get dressed. Half dressed she returns without knocking and leaving it open and 2 other women walk in to see what the problem is. I explained and its like they didnt think it was a big deal, telling me she is a good masseuse. Im sure she is im sure it would have been great but i dont want to be uncomfortable while im suppose to be relaxing. I was so mortified that i ran out. Just went here with a group of ladies; we all got a one hour 'relaxation' massage. Cindy was my massage therapist. Hands down one of the best massages I have ever received, no pun intended. Cindy was very good at checking in/communicating, making sure that the pressure was just right. The lotion they use doesn't leave you feeling all sticky or oily, and they make sure to use a hot towel to wipe down any excess at the end. I'm used to paying around $60-75/hour for a like massage, but massages here are much more reasonable. Came here for a couples massage. Both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our massages. Everything was nice and peaceful and very relaxing!
