Although I paid for a 30-minute massage, it ended at 4:58 PM, which felt short considering the initial wait. I paid $52 total (including a $2 card fee), and the value did not match the experience. At checkout, before I completed payment, the therapist asked, "$10 tip okay?" which made me uncomfortable. I prefer to choose the tip amount myself based on the service provided. I tipped $7 in cash, and the reaction I received felt disappointing and unprofessional. Tipping should feel optional and appreciated, not assumed or pressured.
