I receive massages regularly, and would NOT reccomend this place. I only came to this location because my regular massuese wasn't available. I was feeling pretty tight so I searched for another spot in town. Big mistake, I should've been more patient. Asain Massage only has one person working so anytime the phone rings or someone walks in, she stops the massage and walks out the room. I paid attention to the clock to see if she would add the time back from all the stops. NOPE, still only an hour. She wasn't very skilled at all, the massage felt like something my spouse would do. Thats not a knock on my wife, she isn't a professional masseuse. I had to repeatedly ask for more pressure, she couldn't understand the concept of a deep tissue massage. When It was time to leave she had her hand out for a tip. Crazy right!? Being nice, I pulled out a $20 bill and asked her for a $10 bill. She replied, "How about twenty." Never had an Asian massage, but this massage was one of the best I've ever had, they are very professional (i.e NO happy ending guys). They will walk on your legs and back to start the massage if you want them too. There are bar on the ceiling for the masseuse to hold onto while she walks on your back. After that, it's a great oil massage. It's basically $1/min, so I got a 90 minute massage. They don't speak much English since they are from China. read more

Will never go here again and recommend you book elsewhere. I regularly receive professional massages, all across the US and any country I travel, from any nationality of masseur. This was my first time at this location - 3220 Apalachee Pkwy, #5. I love all styles and types of massage. Unfortunately, this is the first time I have asked a masseur to stop and reduce the time of the massage and the first time I've written a review about a massage. My husband and I called a few hours before to reserve a couples massage. They didn't seem to understand well on the phone as my husband had to repeat several times. When we arrived, the desk girl, called another girl and they put us in 2 separate rooms and followed us in to our respective rooms. "Lisa," the name the desk girl called herself, (though I doubt this American name was her real name, since her english was so poor), was a terrible masseur. It was immediately clear she had little knowledge of anatomy, much less muscle structure and location. Most of the time she was not massaging muscle, merely moving skin. She used her hands, arms, and body clumsily. Many times she would use her forearms to apply pressure, but instead of working the muscle, she would run the pressure over bone or spine repeatedly - extremely uncomfortable. She did not vary her strokes, spending easily 5 minutes doing the same stroke over and over, to the point of irritation. The irritation was partially because of the repetition, but also because it readily became clear I was paying for someone who had no business working at a massage business. You could tell that not only did she not have passion for her work, but she seemed like she did not even want to be there. An example is that she spent 5 minutes with one hand on the back of my neck (thumb on one side of neck and fingers on the other side of the neck) just like anyone with no massage experience might do. What was she doing with the other hand - nothing. Then she switched hands for another 5 minutes! I have never ever ever had a professional massage therapist or masseur do this - like your friend/spouse is rubbing your neck. After about 15-20 minutes of trying to figure out if it was going to get better, I asked her to stop touching my back and work on my feet to see if she had any technique. She was so unskilled and lackluster, finally, i had to tell her to stop and I was done. I stopped it 30 minutes before it was supposed to be done, that's how bad she was. I have never left a massage before it was supposed to be done. I kept thinking it was as if they didn't have another masseur available so the front desk girl had to reluctantly give a massage. But, after my husband told me his masseur wasn't very good, I knew it was just that the management doesn't hire quality or qualified staff and/or won't invest the time or money to properly train their underqualified staff. So, why 2 stars? The place was very clean; that deserves a star. Also note that the photos of the rooms by the yelp title do not match what I saw. Rooms were small and clean but very austere, not luxurious bedding or anything. So, beware the photos may be of another location or stock photos. read more

A terrible massage. First, the massage table was slightly damp and smelled dirty. I now suspect they don't clean the sheets and probably covered with filth. I was dealing with back pain but the woman made it worse. She spent a good 15 minutes scratching my head and when she did massage it was her pressing her thumb into back. A complete waste of time and money. Made my back worse and I hope I didn't leave covered in filth from dirty sheets. read more
