Worse experience ever...booked appt. text 2x to ask to change for 2 hrs later. Told them no too late in afternoon. All of a sudden booked orig appt when I told them going to find someone else. Then only to find out they lied who was assigned to the service. I asked to be booked with Kelly and advised I would be. Get there and find out not Kelly. Went on with appointment with another person. I'm sorry I was so mad when I left I did not get her name. However, she apparently was not happy. She had to massage. She rude and very unprofessional. that she be a little more firm in the massage to me was. " I am doing all my hard I am able to do which was not from at all it was more mediocre. I didn't requested for someone else to come in after about 20 minutes or so. She refused. And then she started jerking, back-and-forth really hard. Then all she could do was complain about having to do the massage. She kept going in and out of the room. When we started, it was 2:29. She didn't say that we started five or 10 minutes early. I told her to stop the massage after 45 minutes and I would pay for 45 minutes that I was tired of hearing her so I got got dressed and walked out. I advised those that were at the front including her, how rude and unprofessional she was during the service. This is not the first time we've had issues with this business. I hopped in because I had a half hour to spare before meeting s colleague. So glad I did because James gave me the best foot massage that I've ever had. I had to teach three days this week, 4 plus hours without a break, so my dogs were barking. James really knew what he was doing. I've had plantar fasciitis before, so I appreciated the sequence he undertook, working from my Center arch joint working outward. I am a massage therapist This is not a western style massage. It is a Chinese style massage. And for the type of massage that it is, I find it to be very therapeutic. There is a coment here that says it is not very relaxing. I would agree it is quite an energetic session. It isn't meant to be relaxing. I went there the other day due to terrible back pain. I could barely move. The lady who gave me the massage that Sunday did such a stellar and thorough job. Initially, I was upset that their credit card machine didn't work and I wasn't told (specially that I had called to make my appointment 2h before I went). So, their communication skills can really use some work (hence 4 stars). While the company DOES have licensed massuers, mine was NOT LICENSED. It was investigated by the board and citations were issues to "May", the american name my masseur went by, and the proprietor. As someone who has had several massages before, I was concerned by her technique (including a tummy pat, intentional joint popping, rubbing my entire face with oily lotion, ect) and unprofessional behavior (no paperwork, phone dinging during the session, checking her voicemail while rubbing my leg, and leaving the door ajar while I changed). Afterward I asked for her license and was stalled then denied. Moral of the story? CHECK THE MASSEUR'S LICENSE WHEREVER YOU GO. As for me, I certainly won't be back. read more

They helped me with a migraine headache and neck. I especially like they keep asking my feeling and adjust the pressure accordingly. I also like how they do the facial for me. I've been to many massage places ever since moving to Tallahassee but this one takes the cake! I've been here three times now and always get the two hour massage. The first two times I've had the same woman and she was fantastic, this last time, I had a different woman and she took it to a new level. This lady had just the right amount of pressure, yeah sometimes it seemed painful, but she really got those knots out without making me scream and most the time the massage was very enjoyable. She also made my body stretch and it felt fantastic. I wish I knew her name so I can reccomend her to everyone, what a great massage. I already knew this place was the one I would be going to in town to get my massages since I first was a customer here...but this last massage from today seals the deal. Brought my wife here as a surprise. She was skeptical as she was judging the place by it's location. She's had plenty of massages all over the US. When she came out she sat down in the car in a daze. When I asked her how it was she said that was probably the best massage she's ever had. The reason it's a 4 and not a 5-star is due to the fact that she told me the masseuse had to step out twice to see who walked in the front door as she was both the receptionist as well as the masseuse. read more

Absolutely horrible and unprofessional. I was kept waiting for 20 minutes in a cramped front room with no receptionist. The lady who came from the back seemed surprised to see me there even though I made an appointment. Once I was finally shown back I was put in a room with a dirty bench and I could hear the sounds of someone washing something and loud conversation. A friend and I went to this location Sunday 5/7/17. I was completely appalled by the customer service especially since the person who recommended me spoke so highly of the place. I saved up my money and took a friend with me (which cost me $120). At the end of the service the lady made it seem as though it was a requirement to tip. Of course i was going to tip according to my means. So i tip 10 dollars and the lady stated "Thats it"? Maybe someone forgot but Tipping by definition is voluntary - at the discretion of the customer. If this establishment wants the tip to be mandatory and wants to place an amount that must be given then that should be in writing. I told my friend who recommended and she stated that she has never had this problem.Needless to say I was humiliated and will not EVER come back. Such a shame! read more

This was my first visit and first massage,and I wasn't too pleased. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment, and was told that I needed to leave and come back 40 minutes later because they 'weren't ready'. We came back then and had to wait 15 more minutes. I scheduled a 30 minute couples massage, and was told that they don't do those but can try and squeeze us in a room. The hour that we were given, and charged for, was full of distractions. Both masseuses were leaving to answer the phone and the door, there was loud music coming through the walls along with consistent door chimes, and it was extremely cold. My body had the exact same aches and pains when I left that it had when I arrived. And when it was time to pay, one masseuse had the audacity to say something about her not receiving a tip. I noticed Chen's when they were building out last month and wanted to get by to try them out seeing they were located so close to my home and right next to Publix. You gotta love easy access. Then I got busy and didn't think about them until my sciatic nerve started killing me on the way home one afternoon. I almost drove off the road from teh pain shooting down my back, back of my leg and all the way to my foot. I pulled into Chen's and Ying, one of the two therapists was able to take me right away. Being Asian I couldn't tell you if Ying was 30 or 50, but she is as sweet as can be and speaks fairly good English. When I went in I was hoping she would go right to my back and start working, but Ying has a method and the gal knows what she's doing. I was 100% comfortable from the start. Quite room. Just the right warmth. (I can't stand a cold massage room!) It would have been 100% perfect except the lady owner of the business next door thinks she's a great singer, and she clearly is not. Loud does not equate great. That didn't last too long however and I was right back to being relaxed. Ying worked from the tip of my head down to the bottom of my feet. She was fun, professional and REALLY good at what she does. By the time I left I felt like a new man. Well... half new man and half limp rag-doll. But in a good way. Chen's has a special for first time customers that is impossible to beat. $40 for an hour. I believe their regular price is $60 an hour, but you can search and see if they are running any coupon specials like the one I found on line but didn't need seeing it was my first time. I understand the other therapist is one of the owners and is also excellent, but I can not speak to that... yet. All I can tell you is that I will be back. Again and again and again. Ask for Ying and tell her 'the strongman' sent you. But no perv's please. This place is legit and quality. My often sore back would like them to stick around. read more
