I came in with horrible edema. I had fluid around my chest and gripping my lungs. Breathing was very difficult. My ear had scar tissue from a previous plastic surgery procedure and my legs were huge! Walking was very difficult. I investigated several people for Lymphatic Drainage, knowing that if not done correctly, it can hurt you and be counterproductive. I could not drive and could barely walk without holding onto something. I found Pam Moyer, who was trained in the Vodder Technique of manual lymphatic drainage. Let me tell you- it was not what I was expecting! How can such a gentle touch produce such spectacular results? I don't know but it worked. After the session, I was very tired and went home and rested. I also "disposed of a lot of liquid" afterwards. (Nice way of saying I peed a lot). The following morning the band that had been like a vice on my lungs had disappeared and I would breathe with ease. While hydrating, I was getting rid of fluid as fast as I could take it in. The size of my calf's and ankles went down. I had to have more of that magic so I booked another session. I was so much better that I could actually drive myself this time! This session concentrated on the ear scar tissue (it was much looser) and my legs and ankles. And then back up to my lungs again. Two days after this session, my legs looked thinner and the edema was much better. I discontinued us of Lasix for the edema because it was so much better. My calves were down another 2 inches! Pam gave me all kinds of hints to use at home and she was willing to answer my questions and share her knowledge. I don't understand how it works completely but I know that she has some magic in her hands. I will be going to her for the Lymphatic Drainage as needed. (I anticipate a few more sessions). They also have massages and facials here so I can't wait to book a nice deep massage! I can only say Thank You, Pam, for all that you've done for me. I'm walking. I can breathe and I can drive again. I must have been a basket case for her since I had just been released from the hospital after 6 days and I was pitiful. Now, I am getting better all the time thanks to Pam and the Lymphatic drainage. read more

Amazingly bad service. The massage therapist showed up late so I didn't get my full time and they couldn't refund or credit me because I prepaid to set the appointment and upon arriving had me pay the full remaining balance. They don't practice sanitary measures. The massage therapist used the same cloth that she used on my body to wipe my face during the a facial. They must use fake reviews because this place sucks. Steve is a magician. As other reviews have stated he is able to loosen up tense areas without using uncomfortable amounts of pressure; he seems to have a great sense of areas that are tight or uncomfortable and is able to work on them indirectly. His style is unlike any I've experienced but it's highly effective and relaxing. With other masseuses I tend to have a hard time relaxing my arms or legs when they are being manipulated or moved; with Steve's technique I was fully loose and relaxed the whole time. I would highly recommend this spa if you're someone who is chronically tense or tight, it really made a big difference for me. read more

This place is AMAZING!! A big shout out to Pam... I scheduled a facial online with Pam. It was a little hard to find (please see my tip). The rooms were super clean and felt so relaxing. Pam was great. I spent the first 5-10 mins telling her about my skin issues. I haven't had a facial in years and have been skeptical about trusting people with my skin. She listened and gave me some good feedback. Throughout the extraction she was so so gentle. The facial itself was amazing. I signed up for the signature facial but she incorporated some of the high frequency treatment for acne. It was so soothing and my skin looked amazing after. I need to get the name of the tinted moisturizer she used. I would definitely spend the money for somebody who cares to treat my skin. I can't recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back for a massage and another facial. If you are looking for a place I highly recommend Haven spa. The boyfriend and I came in on a Saturday afternoon of valentines weekend for a couples massage with Steve and Chantal. We came in and got the wine and chocolates add on, which was a cute way to start our Valentine's Day service. The wine was a touch sweet for my taste but refreshing nonetheless. Steve worked on me while Chantal took the boyfriend. Steve has an incredibly unique style of massage that included stretching. It felt amazing on my arms. I also booked us both 'therapeutic' massages which meant we got some nice deep pressure, which we both needed. I was impressed at how Steve was able to work out the knots in my back without hurting me. The appearance of fascia on my thighs also decreased afterwards. Haven spa has a small shop which lends to its relaxing environment. They also have a little storefront that has a bunch of cute stuff in it from aromatics to massage balls. I look forward to coming back (hopefully as a treat for completing a full workout program) and I am very interested in the massage techniques class they offer on the occasional Friday. read more

The staff was very friendly and welcoming! I requested the relaxation massage. I thought it would be very smooth and relaxing. It was not! It was very disturbing and I was unable to relax at all. This is a little late but my sister got me a massage here for my birthday. She set me up with Steve and this was literally one of the best massages I've ever had. I had just arrived in Tallahassee for my sister's wedding the weekend that we used it, and they were so kind to let me even bring my luggage in (I didn't want any of my toiletries to melt since it was so hot outside). I was greeted warmly and the place was so clean and smelled so nice! The customer service was also impeccable. It was like they were welcoming us into their home.
