Terrible service, and even worse owner…read more Was gifted a "full service" for my spouse and I. Coordinated every detail with the owner Jenna. Not only did she backtrack, she is now calling me a liar for leaving a review on her page. Threatening to sue me for leaving a real review. Save your money, this business is horrible. This is how they treat clients, my MIL was gifting us this as an anniversary gift, since my husband just returned from Afghanistan. Jenna and her front desk attendant was very rude, and dishonest. I have all the messages to prove this.

I don't think I can live without my monthly (or more often sometimes) massages!…read more I was having major back problems when I first met my therapist. I had taken pain meds, been to a chiropractor, etc. It was also giving me migraines. She got me in, even though she was really supposed to be done for the day, just because she didn't want me to continue to be in pain. She worked on my back for a while and couldn't find anything. Then she had me turn over and found a muscle on my lower rib that was referring the pain. It made no sense to me but she was completely right and fixed it immediately. Since that time she has fixed shoulder pain and helped me rehab through frozen shoulder. I commute a long way and she had helped with sciatica caused by driving so much. She also does a great job on my neck and lower skull that is helping with migraines. The most important thing is that she listens carefully when you tell her what you like, what you don't, and what's going on with your body. She can teach you stretches and help you break bad habits. She is really good at helping you improve things yourself to try to prevent that pain in the future. I honestly consider this a medical treatment at this point because it had made me not need pain meds anymore and not miss as much work with headaches. UPDATE: it took me a whole year to work up the courage to try the float pod. My son did it and loved it, but I was still nervous!! It definitely helped that they explained it all to me before hand. It's very simple, but it was still reassuring to hear how to work the lights, music, etc. They have "pool noodle" type floats and headrests if you want them. I used the headrest at first but then decided I didn't need it. They also have earplugs if you don't want water in your ears. And a hair dryer for after you shower if you want it! It was NOTHING like I expected. I thought it would be like floating in a pool, because I thought your body was relaxed when you do that. Nope! You literally do NO work in the float pod. The salt content lifts you up! It really does feel like you're kind of suspended in mid-air. I couldn't imagine what I would think about the whole time, but it didn't matter because I fell asleep within minutes. I would wake up periodically and just notice how relaxed I felt and then go back to sleep. I wish I could explain better. I don't like to sleep during massages because I don't want to "miss" it. But this was different. It was a very restful and relaxing hour! I expected to be groggy when I got out, but I wasn't. I felt great, even though I had been asleep. I felt perfectly awake right away. My joints felt a lot of relief from pain I've had recently. I thought the room would be cold when I got out but it wasn't. There was never any cold from the pod, to the shower, to the room itself. It was all very comfortable. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, along with really nice fluffy towels and washcloths. (They smell good too! I need to see what kind of detergent they use!) If you are claustrophobic I don't think it will be a problem. It wasn't for me-- my son gave a very good analogy. It is the equivalent of being in the back of a minivan with all the seats taken out. When you sit on the floor, you don't feel claustrophobic because there is so much space around you. The float pod is about that same size. (Haven't measured--just guessing) I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it. I will definitely do it on a regular basis now!!

I finally had enough and started calling around to see if there was same day availability for an hour and a half. Invisions was a home run. I was a little nervous at first because it was a spa, and not specifically a massage therapy. My body is a mess and I require a therapist that actually knows what they are doing. I have had too many massages in the past where I have left hurting more and wanting to cry from zero relief from the pain. Thankfully I had nothing to worry about with this place. I was given a wonderful therapist by the name of Chase. He was professional and polite, briefly explained what he was going to do after I explain my issue, and as soon as he started on my feet i was in "love". Now I prefer deep tissue, it is the only way to get the tension out, and I must say I was pleased. Chase used elbows, nuckles, and thumbs like the knots in my back had no hope for tomorrow, it was painfully amazing. If I had any critique on the experience, it was the awkward silence, and I don't mean no talking silence. I am so glad I decided to bring my head phones with me this time, because there was absolutely no music in the room. I think next time I am just going to bring a speaker with me so it's not so weird.

My original appointment was at 3:20, and I received a notification around noon on appointment day that I had been rescheduled for 3:45. I thought it was weird that they didn't call or text to confirm the new time works for me, but it did work yesterday so I didn't worry too much about it. I did wonder if this is a frequent thing because a lot of times I am squeezing appointments in between meetings and can't be flexible with appointment times. Anyhoo, I arrived at 3:45 and stood at the front for five minutes before a massage therapist came out to check out her guest. She tried to help me but wasn't sure what paperwork was needed, but did let me know my lash stylist was finishing another appointment and had me wait in the waiting area. At 4:05, 20 minutes after my rescheduled appointment, I left without ever seeing the lash stylist. When I got home, I saw that I received an email at 3:25pm that said "your appointment is coming up" and I was now scheduled for the next day. I didn't receive a notification of any rescheduling this time, and to reschedule for a second time the day of an appointment without even checking that the new time works is ridiculous. Not to mention rescheduling 20 minutes before the appointment is supposed to start. If I cancelled with 20 minutes notice, I'd be charged for the appointment. I'm not sure why anyone would think it's acceptable to do the same to a customer.

Hi! I'd like to share an experience I just had at Shelley's Salon in Belton…read more I booked a haircut for my 6 year old daughter, and when I got there I was told that my (perfectly behaved) 9 year old son wasn't allowed to stay in the building. The two options that the manager said I had were 1. To let my 6 year old go back alone with the stylist, and I could wait in the car with my son, or 2. I could go into the appointment with my daughter and let my son go wait in the car by himself. Both unsafe, neglectful options. There were 4 seats in the waiting room, all empty, so I asked if he could sit there? No, because it would "negatively affect the guest experience." Not sure what it is about my son's presence that is so offensive, but that's an incredibly rude thing to say especially after suggesting 2 unsafe options for my kids. I asked for a refund (because when you book they charge $20) and of course she said it's not refundable, but would refund me "just this once." As if I'll ever be booking there again. If you have kids, I wouldn't recommend booking there.

They also gave us 20% off a hair product so even I got something out of it! It's also a really nice salon with a lot of products for sale and the receptionists were really outgoing .

I went to their open house to find out what could be done to make me look better. I set up a future consultation appointment. I met with Janelle, the owner. She spent a lot of time and asked a lot of questions. I have a propensity for cold sores, so she arranged an online meeting with a medical professional, who ordered me medication to take prior to the procedure. I was so excited when I arrived at my appointment. The injections were pretty much painless because she spent so much time making sure I was numb. You can tell. She absolutely loves what she does. She took so much time to get my lips and around my lips just perfect. After the swelling went down, my lips were just perfect. I look for 15 years younger! If you are thinking about getting any kind of injections, I highly recommend this place. They are professional, thorough, and friendly. You arrive as a customer and you leave as a friend.
