I booked an appointment with their app you can download to your phone the night before and a scheduled 60 minutes with Mel for deep tissue it was literally the last appointment available. The studio is quiet, clean, relaxing and welcoming. They offer water or tea while you wait and close out your appointment asking you to drink a glass of cold water better you leave to help flush the toxins that they just worked out of your muscles. My therapist, Mel knows what she's doing, and has a intuitive sense of what your body needs. I will be back to help de-stress and relax many more times in the future. She was very careful in making sure not to hurt me and let me know to speak up whenever I felt uncomfortable or any pain. The room was peaceful and I liked the calming music. This is my first time going to Ironclad bodywork in Texas. I'm from New York I went to Killeen due to my son moved in Killeen. My issues were that my back, neck, arms were hurting me so much that I was looking for a good massage. At first I wasn't sure if the therapist Rose was going to be able to help me with the issues I was complaining about. To tell you the truth it was so good that I came out of the room like a new person with a new body. She is actually an amazing therapist I really didn't know that I was having spine and hip issues until she started working it felt good and at the same time it was painful but I let her do her job that at the end I felt as sleep and the session was over. What empresses me that the place is very neat, clean, and the staff very friendly, and they don't cut your time at all. I give this place 5 star is worth going there. I recently had 360 lipo done and was dealing with pain and lots of swelling. Lymphatic massage is supposed to help with that, so I gave it a try. Yamaris was my therapists and she was amazing! Not only was she knowledgeable and skilled at her job, but she also gave me valuable tips about reducing swelling, the healing process, and reassurance about my surgery results. She even suggested supplements and creams that might help and suggested lukewarm showers after explaining to me why hot showers were bad. So, this was my first time getting a professional massage, so I decided to try out the location with the best yelp reviews. Thankfully they were able to squeeze in a 30 minute couples massage for my boyfriend and I. They focused on the areas we asked to target and my masseuse Naomi was awesome, she was able to really focus on the knots in my traps. I'm not sure the name of my boyfriends masseuse, he said she was okay; he said it was not as deep tissue as he had hoped for. Overall a pretty good experience. MJ is amazing!!! I went in with extreme lower back pain. It felt like I pulled something. I did a 90 minute restoration session and I couldn't be more pleased. It wasn't painful and it stretched out and allowed me to relax. Coming in with a pain at about a 9, I left with maybe a 2. I left refreshed and comfortable. I woke up the next day with no soreness or pain that can come from okay massages. I'd recommend her ten fold.
